The seller of this vehicle claims this Charger was used in 2005 Dukes movie promos, as well as the Smallville episode that featured Tom Wopat as a guest star. They also claim it was used in a country music video. Like an AKC registered hound, this car comes with papers showing its Warner Bros lineage.

If you’ve got a hefty tax refund coming, or you’re ready to take out a second mortgage on your house, or you wanna raid junior’s college fund – this baby could be yours for a mere $59,998.00.

Maybe that sounds expensive, but plain ol’ orange clunker cars go for $40,000 + as long as there’s an “01” on the doors. Given the turbulent stock market, and a uncertain outlook on real estate prices, the HazzardNet Staff might just cash in our collective lunch money and invest in a sure bet. Like this car.

Or, maybe we’ll pass along the link to our readers and somebody with deeper pockets can be the lucky new owner! Here ya go, and let the buyer beware, and all that:

Dukes of Hazzard “The Beginning” DVD

Here’s the latest Hazzard Hype for ya. First of all, this DVD went from being released on March 6, to March 13, and now everything says March 20. We’re just happy to know it’s more or less in March, no warranties expressed or implied.

But wait! Before the DVD can be purchased, the ABC Family Channel will air the new movie on Sunday March 4th, 2007 at 8pm EST. Talk about advertising, this constitutes a 2-hour commercial for the DVD. Whether this will improve sales, or backfire, remains to be been.

The Sunday airtime, and the choice of the ABC Family Channel, conflicts with all the pre-release dirt we’ve heard so far. Like, the girl’s locker room scenes, the Dukes dressing in drag, and scenes of — well, we won’t go in that here. Our burning question for Warner Bros is….which way do you want it? Dukes as it was, or Dukes as the 2005 movie made it?

It’s our opinion that WB is trying to pull back the sleeze just enough to get broader sales, without losing any of the T&A audience from the 2005 movie. WB is straddling the road on this one.

Our forums are also holding the rumor that WB might be considering a new Dukes of Hazzard TV series. While we haven’t verified this, we wouldn’t weld the doors shut against the possibility. After all, The Dukes of Hazzard has been a big cash cow for WB, and they’re not above finding ways to squeeze the teat a little more. Unrated or not.
