Christmas 2010 is “01” to Remember!

Odds are, if you’re a Dukes of Hazzard fan, there’s something Dukes-related under your tree this year. “The Dukes” cartoon DVD could be one of the gifts with your name on it!

Or maybe it’s the Complete Dukes of Hazzard series on DVD, which, believe it or not, is currently sold out per Amazon.com. (Amazon is still accepting orders and will ship as new stock is available.) Add this to how quickly the first 400 autographed copies of “The Dukes” DVD went, and one thing is clear. Nothin’ says Christmas like the Dukes of Hazzard!

Awright, we know Christmas has a much deeper meaning. Look for that in our next post. For now, we’re speakin’ to those of ya’ll who haven’t finished your shopping, don’t have a whole lot of moonshine money to spend, and need a quickie.

As in, a quick gift idea! Stuff somebody’s e-stocking, or maybe your own, with The Dukes of Hazzard episodes on demand from Amazon.com! At only $1.99 a pop, this is a great way to use an Amazon Gift Card. Currently, episodes from seasons 1 and 2 are available in you-pick-em varieties for $1.99 each. Or, download the entire season for $14.99.

Delivery time ain’t a problem when you’re downloading! Amazon Gift Cardscan be immediately emailed to your lucky recipient, and the whole thing is faster than the General Lee taking a shortcut during an overland road race with the farm at stake.

If you’re done shopping, then we salute you! Egg nog, all around!

The Dukes Animated Series DVD is SOLD OUT!

In just a few short weeks, the limited run of The Dukes Animated Series DVD is sold out. The Dukes cartoon proved to be quite popular with fans and is no longer available on the Warner Brothers site. We’ve put in an email to our contacts to clarify if The Dukes Animated Series dvd will be available in the future or if it’s gone forever. Hopefully, it’ll be back. In the meantime, if you want a copy, your best bet is to keep an eye on our Dukes of Hazzard auctions to see if someone puts theirs up for sale.

Once we have more information, we’ll let y’all know!

UPDATE: See this post on The Dukes Animated Series for clarification. The dvd is available again!

HazzardNet Holiday Hullabaloo!

As has become tradition around here, HazzardNet will be hosting an online Christmas party chat again this year! Only this time, we’re doubling our pleasure and doubling our fun with two parties (hey, give the people what they want, right? Right!)

Our first party will be held tomorrow in the Boar’s Nest chat room starting at 3pm EST and going until midnight. Yes, that seems early, but we’re considering our international audience and the different time zones everyone’s in. Which means there should be plenty of variety in the comings and goings of HNet regulars through the evening.

For those who can’t make the party tomorrow, our second shindig will be held on Saturday, December 18th at the same time (3pm EST to midnight).

Be aware y’all that we have a new chat application to use, called Flash Chat, which is accessible via the Forums (the link is at the top of the page). Your login for the chat is your forums login. Remember to click on “Flash Chat” and not the plain “chat” link.  If you go to the plain chat link you’ll either not be able to get in (as has been the case with some users) or you’re gonna find a dark and quiet room. And you don’t wanna be in a dark and quiet room, you wanna be where the fun is!

You can check out more about the 2010 Christmas Party and other holiday hubbub in our forums!

See ya there!
