Howdy y’all! Okay, it’s the beginning of November but let’s face it, things move fast this time of year. But to kick off some holiday cheer, HNet’s issuing a Fanfic Challenge! Write a holiday themed fic and submit here to be posted in our fanfic section! Instead of having a due date and posting all the stories at once, we’ll be taking submission throughout November and December. The last day we’ll accept fics will be December 23rd, 2006.

We all know Flash is the coolest, most laid-back hound around. But now it’s official! The Wikipedia article about basset hounds lists her as one of the most famous of the breed. You can read the article here. She’s listed under the Pop Culture section along with a photo of her and Rosco.
The Dukes of Hazzard spirit lives on. Check out this General Lee (ok, it’s actually a 1981 Mk III Ford Capri) created by artist James R. Ford using 4,342 scale model cars. He calls it the General Carbuncle. We call it… uhhh. Interesting. 🙂
