Couple of Dukes movie news items for ya (nothing earth shattering here but the Jessica Simpson interview is entertaining. LOL Thanks to LoneRanger17 for the heads up!)

IGN.com Film Force recently posted this interview with Jessica Simpson conducted on the set in the last few weeks of filming.

The Dukes of Hazzard Set Visit Preview IGN was on the set with Seann William Scott, Johnny Knoxville, and Jessica Simpson.
Depending which news and info sources you look at, the movie is either going to be released at the end of June or the end of July. We’re still awaiting early trailers and promotional segments. =)

Tom Wopat’s Latest Broadway Roles

Tom Wopat, who will be part of the starry cast of the upcoming revival of Glengarry Glen Ross, will make his debut at Birdland in April.

On April 4 the former star of Annie Get Your Gun and Chicago will offer an evening of Broadway and popular standards at the famed jazz club. Show time is 7 PM.

Planned Chat

For all of you planning on going to the chat tonight at 5pm Pacific, I probably won’t be there. Our dog Sadie is at the vet tonight getting x-rays and being observedÂ for a leg injury. We’ll be going back to get her around the time when the chat starts and probably sitting with her most of the night. I hope all of you that are there have a good time.

Clear your calendars for May 6th and 7th! Those are the dates for DukesDay 2005, a special Dukes Themed fundraiser for Special Olympics (Arkansas). Ben “Cooter” Jones and Sonny “Enos” Shroyer will be there along with stuntmen Corey Eubanks (who will be performing some stunts) and Al Wyatt, Jr. There will be a catered banquet, a car show, cool merchandise, and a lot more. Don’t miss it!!
