The Duke patriarch. Said to have had all ten commandments under his long johns (according to the balladeer) and his word was law. A widower, he often spoke that if he didn't have Bo, Luke and Daisy around, he wasn't sure what he would have done after his wife passed on. He raised his nephews and niece with a lot of love, a little of the bible, and plenty of common sense. Often seen wearing faded denim overalls, a beige shirt, and red hunting cap.
