Problems with the chat

Any time i try to enter the chat i get this message: "Access Denied. The user name you entered is not permitted", but actually the system doesn't even allow me to put my username...would anybody please be so kind to explain to me how it works? Thanks in advance!

Hi!

That is odd. I don't get asked a user name when I enter the chat. Then again I'm always logged in when I enter the chat room.

I just select chat in forum webpage because the pop up option does not work for me.

I'm sure our kind moderators / owners can help you more than me. :)

That's the first question I ask is are you signed into the forums when you try to access the chat? Because I'm not even sure the chat is set up that you can "sign in" to it. I think you have to be already logged into the forums before going into chat.

If are already signed into the forums then....I dunno what the issue is. Mufn's more technical on that end than I am.

Hi MaryAnne, i'm always logged into the forums, but i still get that message.
Also, when I open the chat window I can't see who is in there either.
Hopefully someone will be able to help me.

I had the same problem try updating java. when I did that i could then go into chatroom.
