Okay, the idea of this game is.

I'LL post quotes, and the first person to give me the right episode it came from will be the winner no matter how many people post the right answer. I'll keep track of the scores to see how people do. :) Hope people get involved in this.

Here goes the first one.

Luke: If you took off them platform cowboy boots she'd be eatin' off the top of your head too!

DaisyMaeDuke

Was that Hazzard Connection?

BoJamesDuke
05-10-2008, 01:00 PM
You got it Daisy, Hazzard Connection is the right answer. For those of who who couldn't remember, this is the one with the Demolition Derby. The scene? When the boys are smashing two clunckers around and Luke is trying to get Bo riled up to make it more interesting. :) Take a look folks, its a great episode. Season 2 Episode 8.

Okay next quote

Daisy: Ohh no...Luke's got that look in his eye again...

B: Yeah and right after he gets that look, he goes *snaps fingers* I got it, let's go Bo. Then I get in trouble.

Luke: *snaps fingers* I got it...let's go Bo.

Bo: See?

Kay Darleen Duke

that quote is from route 7-11 from the first season and that is also one of my favorites.

RogerDuke

This is a great idea Bo!!!

BoJamesDuke
05-11-2008, 03:50 PM
Got that right Darleen, Route 7-11. The scene...the family and the guy who they're helping are sitting trying to think of a plan, and of course Luke comes up with one.

Okay next one,

Luke: I got hit by a girl!
Bo: Again?! Luke what the heck did you do this time?!

Scores:
DaisyMaeDuke: 1
Kay Darleen Duke: 1

This one comes from Twin Trouble...if memory serves me correctly Luke is at the twins hide out and one of them clobbers him and knocks him out

Kay Darleen Duke
05-11-2008, 06:48 PM
Wrong that quote isn't from Twin Trouble that one is from Cooter's Confession.

BoJamesDuke
05-11-2008, 07:49 PM
Sorry BL, but Kay Darleen was right. That one did from from Cooter's confession. Luke's plan goes a bit wrong and the female hijacker knocks him out after her boyfriend failed to. Luke's a bit stunned and when climbing into the General, suddenly comes out with that quote, to which Bo responds with his funny line. Poor ol' Lukas Dukas.

Next Quote:

Bo: Oh great. just what I need, three hands on the steering wheel.

Luke: Well i'd drive but you'd have to run alongside then...

Scores:

DaisyMaeDuke: 1
Kay Darleen Duke: 2
B.L Davenport: 0

Hey Bo, would you consider a clue on this?....or maybe multiple choice??

RogerDuke

What episode is this quote from?
"I like a lot of ladies in my life....and I like a lot of life in my ladies"

RogerDuke
09-05-2008, 07:21 PM
Well, nobody's answered this in a week so I guess I'll post it if anybody is interested. This quote is from "Go West Young Dukes" and came from Bo's ancestor, Joe Duke.

Hey Roger, dont steal my quic thread! You got two leave mine alone! lol No seriously though, could I run this one... :( I like having one of my even if no one plays.

As for the quote I put before Roger rudely interrupted (lmao only a joke buddy) I dont actually remember which eppie this came from myself now lmao, I lost the sheet of quotes I had to do on here so now I have to start again there...which I did a few days ago so now have loads to test your brains :D I'll start this game up again in a couple of days, if you would like to play, please post that you would by Monday Morning :) Thanks

RogerDuke

Don't make them too tough...LOL

Ok so I have now signed up for the game:

Jessi Duke
Daisy Duke
Roger Duke
Lori Davenport
BL Davenport

Please no one else post here as your scores will not be counted. Ok those playing, I need to know how you want the scoring to be done. I can either do it so that if you put the answer down and get it right you get a point, or you can have it so the first one to post the right answer gets the point. Its up to you guys!

B.L. Davenport
09-12-2008, 05:57 PM
It would be more fair to give everyone who posts the correct answer a point than to give the point to the first one to answer because others may know the answers but not be able to post for whatever reason until a later time. Just my two cents worth

BoJamesDuke
09-12-2008, 06:03 PM
kk thanks BL, I'm just asking because some people were complaining about how sometimes int he quizes and things people only post when they know an answer and therefore get a longer streak or something cause they dont take a chance. :) Just wanted to know how people want this done

LoriDavenport
09-12-2008, 09:37 PM

DaisyMaeDuke

I know whatcha mean Bo...

Well I can tell you if we waited until I came online I would never get a point...cuz I work during the day, others have school, etc. And Rog doesnt generally come on til night....so I definately think it should just be offered and scored by who gets it and who doesnt.

As far as streaks and stuff...well I am competitive by nature, I admit. But I honestlly dont care about streak and stuff...I just wanna have fun.

BoJamesDuke
09-12-2008, 10:18 PM
Alrighty I think its fair t'say that's the way we'll do it :D I'll post the first quote tomorrow!! WOOO!!

BoJamesDuke
09-15-2008, 12:25 AM
Ok sorry guys, the quote was meant to be started over the weekend but as Daisy knows, my dad screwed our internet up so i\'ve lost my wireless connection. I know have to plug my laptop into the router which is in my mum;s bedroom so I can only go on when she says now *sighs* I will definitly be on tomorrow cause she\'s out mwahahaha, so it WILL BE POSTED THEN!!! lol Keep your eyes peeled!

That was great you four, you got it all right! :) For those who may be reading but not taking part, the scene comes from the end of Treasure of Hazzard. As Roger said, Daisy is mud wrestling with the bad lady over a box of confederate money. Jesse just stands by watching and comes out with his quote, Luke who stands by his side responds with his part with a smirk. One scene to watch guys, very funny :)

Okay next quote, this one should be easy y\'all!!

Bo: That sure brings back some memories...
Luke: yeah...I don;t ever remember being so sad...but then I had you and Daisy.

I agree too....poor Terry Lee:(

RogerDuke
09-18-2008, 02:46 AM
I agree with "A Boy's Best Friend" Terry Lee had such a unique voice. I just know he must have been in something else....maybe the voice of a cartoon character or something. He wasn't Rudolph the Red- Nosed Reindeer was he?

DaisyMaeDuke
09-18-2008, 03:10 AM
I thought I read somewhere that the used teh person of Danny Cooksey but someone elses voice...Im not sure though cuz Danny Cooksey later became known for voiceovers

BoJamesDuke
09-19-2008, 09:48 AM
:) Course it was a boy's best friend and one of the best quotes in the series in my opinion. Really shows how much the cousins have been through together :) The scene for those of y'all that dont remember: Bo and Luke arrive at the orphanage and find little Terry Lee all upset being looked at by a Doc. They take one look at him, and Bo turns to Luke and says his bit and Luke replies with his. Its a sweet scene, take a look ;)

Next Quote!

Girl: Let me show you what the opposite sex can do.
Luke: Oh I know what the opposite sex can do, I just dont think a car is the proper place t'do it...

BONUS POINT THE FIRST PERSON TO NAME WHICH GIRL SAID IT! FIRST AND LAST NAME!

I might be wrong though...

BoJamesDuke
09-21-2008, 07:50 PM
Hey y'all and right again everyone! The episode is indeed Luke's Love Story and congrats to Daisy for getting on quick and answering the bonus question. So what's the scene? Amy and Luke are standing in the barn working on her car, both debating I think what a woman can and cant do in the racing industry...Amy offers to take Luke for a ride with her bit and of course, Luke comes back with that little one liner :) Funny!

Julie...I dont understand what your post had to do with this thread...but if you would like to join in please wait till next round and at least find out what the thread is about before you post in it.

Okay, Next Quote! Let's see if you remember this one...

Luke: S'cuse me and my cousin here ma'am but we're conducting a survey on whether women prefer little boys with blonde hair or men with dark hair...

Girl: I prefer men who are bald...

Bo: Well that's alright, I got a razor in the car, i'll go get it!

lol, so again where'd it come from and... BONUS QUESTION: What is the name of the girl?!
1st person to answer wins the bonus point.

The episode is People's Choice and the name of the girl is T.C or Thelma Clare Rogers she's running against Boss in an election and ends up winning. Bo nor Luke get the girl this time because at the end her husband and kid get off a bus in hazzard.

I'm surprised we never heard any more from her. "People's Choice" is from the second season so apparently she dropped out of politics after that.
Bo, I like your idea of giving the first person to respond a chance for a bonus point since they are the one taking the biggest chance.

BoJamesDuke
09-25-2008, 06:43 PM
All of you are correct :) Well done, so what's the scene? Well, the boys roll into Hazzard and see Thelma standing on the side walk. They proceed to argue in the car (I have the quotes for that too lol) before pulling up and thus the exchange begins. Congrats all of you and to BL who got the Bonus Point this round. Okay, next quote is....

Bo: Enos, you been taking Rosco pills?!
Luke: He means are you gonna arrest us fer somethin' we didn't do?

No bonus point this round, but where did this quote come from :)
