After a break of almost 10years, I've returned to this winter sport.
Unfortunately, I'd forgotten how hard it is.
I've done 3 races so, & got another one on Saturday - which is a 'Cyclist verses Runners'
Up to the top of a local (to the event start anyway) moor & back down!
I'm using a mountain-bike I bouught earlier in the year, not a proper 'cross' bike, but might get one for the next season (had one before)
