He was born Jewel Franklin Guy. I'm not sure that bio is 100% correct. If I recall correctly, the bio written by that guy used to say he was Julliard trained and I think Jimmie told me once that he wasn't.

I don't think Jimmie was ever in an Elvis movie. However, Jimmie told me he and Elvis were dating the same girl once. Elvis told the girl to tell Jimmie that he'd teach Jimmie how to play the guitar. Jimmie then told the girl to tell Elvis he'd teach him how to act. LOL!

Mufn, BTW I bought The left handed gun and got it yesterday in the mail. I watched it and laughed half through it. especially the horny toad part and the flour throwing part, LMAO!

I didn't realize that either, I could picture Elvis and Jimmie dating the same girl and that was pretty funny about what he passed back to Elvis. I wonder what would've happened if Elvis didn't die in 1977 and was caught in the celebrity speed trap.

His birthday is in Ten days and we'll be a very young 81 years old. But on the sad news saturday would've been my Grandpa's 100th birthday but he died ten years yesterday just a week shy of the 9-0.
