I do not know exactly where, though it was definitely California, but it was filmed rather early in the series... second season I think? I believe it's the most famous (and re-used) footage in the entire series, as well as the all-time distance record up until the 2006 Dukesfest jump in Nashville.

Styx River or Indian Dunes depending on your preference on what to call it. Approx 230 ft in length. Bit of trivia also the same place Vic Morrow was killed shooting the Twilight Zone movie.
