View Full Version : saw a general lee in town.

Went up to get some milk and bread at the grocery store 5 min up the road from home. Pulled in and saw a general lee! It was very clean, not one piece of dirt on it. :D Had never seen one close up before, was very exciting.

I live in the atlanta, GA suberbs BTW,

Anyone else seen a general in town?

A real General Lee? as In Dodge Charger? That would be awsome.

There is a car painted like the General near here but it's not a Charger. It's a small car. I don't remember the model. It doesn't have the flag on the roof but the rest matches. I saw it twice now. My brother says that he saw a couple of very young men in it. Teens. I only saw it parked at the mall. It thought it was so cool because you don't expect anyone in this small French speaking community in Québec to remember the Dukes. They haven't aired in French in 20 years except for the movie.

I saw a pick up recently with the confederate flag on the roof. The truck was black though. But it was a matte black like a homemade job. It looked like a work in progress.

There are a few replicas in that neck of country.My friend Adam has one in Macon GA.

yes a real one, dodge charger.

I saw a video of a toyota celica one painted up like the general lee. thought it was funny!

and hopefully i will see more aroud here.

I remember I was in Ninth Grade and taking Creative Writing and that year somewhere between 1989- 1990 there was a General Lee that went by the John Adams High School in Cleveland, and poor Mr. Monaco lost half of his class when he hit the horn. I didn't go to see the car allthough.

I still remember that over the guy up on the roof that had nothing on which somebody on the bus pointed out. Hey, this happened in Cleveland,Ohio never did find out what happened to that guy now.

Well actually his rabbits name is Roger Douglas Szenger and he has a Calico maine Coon cat named Britney Jean Szenger.

yeah I remember when I drive my honda civic and one general lee drive pass me as well in few year ago in around 2001 or 2002 what I think of it.. what I remember that.. lucky me saw one with flag on top and "01" on side with orange car that I saw it first time.. wow.. :D

I live in Western NC. People claim that a General Lee was on display at the local antique mall. But its no longer there. :(
Someday I will have my own!

I almost saw Uncle jesse white truck look like pass me week ago.. as well no see like Daisy's jeep yet.. luck me.. :)
