Bless your heart (or little heart)
A term of endearment used by southerners when they see someone they like or are speaking of someone sweetly. Most of the time the phrase is followed by something not so sweet.
i.e. "Bless her heart she's such a sweet little lady but she jus' can't cook worth a dern."
