He Still lives in a one cop town
He still works the first job he found
He still rides his old hog around he don't like cars
His Daddy taught him to teat folks right
But if You push him he'll stand and fight
He's short on money but long on pride
In himself and his country
He'd never let old glory fall
He's at his best up againist the wall
He keeps us standing tall

A redneck is the Backbone of America
A redneck is the Backbone of America

He served his nation he's got his scars
Plus a few from the local bars
He's had to fight him all kinds of wars just to get by
Around the edges he's really ain't so tough
He's got heart that's full of love
For his family, his neighbors, his country
Well he's reason his nation stands
He's everywhere across the land
Anywhere there's a workin' man

A redneck is the Backbone of America
A Redneck is the Backbone of America
Yeah

He vted right cause he like the plan
But reading the papers has got him mad
We don't sell guns to Iran
No

A redneck is the Backbone of America
I said a redneck is the Backbone of America
A redneck is the Backbone of America
Yeah Rednecks are the Backbone of America
Don't you know a Redneck is the Backbone of America
Yeah

Quick Comment that is my favorite patriotic song ever recorded and I think that the song is talk about Service man and woman all over America. Wouldn't it be great to here either Toby Keith or Garth Brooks to record this song right here and have is released as a single.
I come from a long line of family that fought for their country, my grandfather was in the merchant marines and my dad and uncle was in the army. As wells as my cousin was in the army during the time of Dessert Storm.
