Hey Everyone!

Today is a special day. It's a holiday here in Hazzard county. Yes, yes... You're all are like holiday? Since when? Well, when is not important and I don't know when it started, why isn't exactly important either....

It's just a Nameless holiday. The Hazzard bank is closed. My office is closed. The Nest is serving free beer tonight and tonight only.

To celebrate this Nameless Hazzard Holiday, you wear something black. Then tonight at the stroke of midnight you howl at the moon and fall down on your knees and say... "Whaaaa ta fooooo iam!" Then dance around in circles for five seconds.

Crazy? Yes, we know... but if you do this you'll have all the luck of the folks of Hazzard (Like you really want Hazzard luck, *chuckles*)

Just remember.... It's Nameless Hazzard Holiday and you're suppose to be happy and crazy today.

Val, I find it suspicious that this "hoilday" and yer weird little ritual coincides with my birthday.

I've had a good birthday. Got some cards n' presents, some nice emails, and of course the neon sign out on the front page of HNet. I'm not sure if that one was courtesy of MaryAnne or MeadowMufn, but I'll assign equal blame. :D

Also, had a huge ice-cream cake from Coldstone Creamery. Mint chocolate chip, know what I'm talkin' about? YUM!! Damn, it's almost worth gettin' older for.

I'll do a little celebratin' this weekend, too. Just a little. :wink:

Truly, I'm spoiled rotten by having the greatest bunch of friends n' kin anybody could hope for. Thanks again, ya'll!

Ok everyone, the Wildlife department has talked to the local vet and there are free rabies vaccines today! Festivities for the Nameless Hazzard Holiday include, taking a long nap, drinking a lot of beer, eating all the cake and junk food you want, listening to loud rock music (Styx is a good choice), leaving gifts at the door of the Lord of the Outlaws in homage to him, and putting all work aside for fellow co-workers to pick up the slack. Hey, it is a holiday. No work allowed on Nameless Hazzard Holiday.

Thanks for the b-day wishes, ya'll! I did read them this last weekend, sorry I'm late in posting acknowledgement. (You know how it is when ya get up there in age.... takes longer to get sober.)

Yep, this is the oldest I've ever been! Seein' as how I've got the benefit of wisdom n' experience and a deep inner psychosis, I thought I'd share a few pearls of birthday wisdom with you.

1) Bailey's Irish Cream and a cold root beer, mixed together, make a great party drink. Cheers!

2) There's worse things than getting older. Like...not getting older. Never turn down a birthday.

3) Have cake. Even if you have to cram a candle on top of a Twinkie, have a birthday cake. Rituals have their place.

4) It's not the presents that count... it's the presence, of those you have around you, that are the greatest gifts.

5) Bailey's Irish Cream and root beer.... oh yeah, we covered that one. Let's cover it again. *hic!*
