A dark night in Hazzard

Balladeer: Now y’all might be wondering why the Generals flyin’ and there ain’t nobody chasing them, and it’s not Saturday night so it ain’t women. Well it’s because Bo’s coming home today after being gone for two weeks visiting his old buddy Jimmy.

“Luke, now you’d better just slow down. You know that Rosco’s going to show up ‘round here somewhere.” Daisy warned from shotgun in the General. Uncle Jesse, Daisy, and Luke were all riding into town to pick up Bo. As the General flew into Hazzard Square, the six o’clock bus was just pulling up.
“Bo!!” Daisy cried and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on the cheek.
”Well howdy their ma’am.” Bo teased and hugged her back.
”Nice to have you back. The General was actually startin’ to feel safe.” Luke laughed.
“Haha, funny Luke.” Bo smirked and the foursome walked back to the General and tore off back to the farm.

Later on that night, after Uncle Jesse’s crawdad soup, Bo went out to the Genearl to grab his suitcase.
”Hey Luke?” “Yeah?”
”Did you bring my bag inside?”
”Nope, I didn’t see nothing in the General.”
”Goldarnit, I musta left it at the bus stop. Shoot.”
“Luke, how ‘bout you go and see if its still there, if not go over and ask Rosco if anything was turned in.” “Yes’sir”
”What about me Uncle Jesse?” Bo asked,
“Now you’ve had a long trip, you go on inside and get some shut eye. ‘Sides, Luke’ll be back in a minute.”
”Don’t wait up..” Luke waved as he drove off into town.

After finding the brown suitcase sitting peacefully on the curb, Luke headed back towards the farm. He turned on the radio as he was driving through the darkened roads. Suddenly, a black car came flying up in front of him and with an ear-shattering snap the windshield broke into a million tiny pieces. Luke yelped as glass flew into his face, and instinctively stepped backwards, hitting the gas hard. He flew off the road and came to a sudden halt as the General tried to fly right through a tree. With a final groan, Luke collapsed on the steering wheel, blood trickling down his face.

Balladeer : What a Horrible Crash i sure hope somebody shows up soon or O'l Luke is just gonna be a memory .


So as Luke was laying over the Steering Wheel Unconicous , coated with Blood , " Who should happen to Show up but Cooter when he saw the General totaled he said " HOLY SMOKES " So Cooter hightailed it over their when he saw what a horrible state someone left Luke in he couldn't believe his eyes " OH SHOOT LUKE !!!!!

Meanwhile over at the DukeFarm : Uncle Jesse was wondering what was taking Luke so long with Bo's suitcase since he should have been back then Uncle said " Lord i hope Luke is alright he should have been back by now ", Unfortunetly Luke wasn't doing so hot if he makes it will be a miracle since he is bleeding like a stuffed pig on Thanksgiving ", So Cooter was trying to wake Luke up but unfortunetly he wasn't having much luck Luke was colder then a dead samon he ain't lookin' so hot !!! ",

lady luck must have been lookin' down on Luke cause Rosco had been on patrol that night when he saw the General Lee he was totally shocked then he saw Cooter he said " Cooter what in the heck happend ", so Cooter said " Oh Rosco thank heavens your here Luke got into an horrible wreck he is in really bad shape he is bleeding like crazy ", Then Rosco said " I'll CB over at the DukeFarm and i 'll tell them about it ",

So Then Rosco called on over to the Dukefarm he said " This Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane calling the Dukes do y'all have your ears on ", Bo just happened to be standing by the radio when he heard the message he said " You got Lost Sheep two here Rosco what do you want if it is to arrest me and Luke you can forget it ", Then Rosco said " Bo i ain't callin' you about that :( Luke has gotton into a terrible crash over on Millpawn ",
then Bo said " Oh My Lord Rosco I'm on my way call the Ambulance for me okay and uh i'll let Daisy and Uncle Jesse know on what is happening.

Cue Anybody

"Huh....?? Wha..??" Luke mumbled as he struggled to open his eyes through the intense light. "Just relax son. Go back to sleep." A voice replied. "Yes sir." Luke whispered, drifting back into nothingness and darkness.

The amubulance rolled along, lights flashing and sirens blaring. Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane's patrol car lead the way to the tri-counties emergancy room. Daisy Duke's saddened tear-filled voice came over the CB radio, "Rosco?? Are you sure?? I jus..." Her voice faded away, some one had taken the radio away from Luke's hysterical cousin.

Balladeer "Now folks, you know it ain't good if Daisy is getting antsy!"

The Dukes burst into the hospital, "Where is he?? Where's my nephew?" Jesse Duke demanded. "Just relax Uncle Jesse." Bo coaxed putting a hand on his uncle's shoulder. Jesse shrugged Bo off, "Relax?? How can I relax!!!"
Bo shook his head. Jesse walked over to the front desk, where a pretty nurse was sitting, "I need to see my nephew!" The nurse looks up with a scowl, "Sorry Jesse, Boss Hogg said I wasn't to tell you!" "Why that!!!" Jesse shouted as Daisy and Bo pulled him away.

"Just sit down Uncle Jesse, I have an idea!" Bo whisperd as he help Jesse sit. Her took daisy by the arm and whispered in her ear, "I'll distract her, you find out where Luke is." Daisy nodded. Bo stood up straight, undid a button on his shirt, run his hands through his thick blonde hair and took a deep breath. He sauntered causually over to the desk and leaned his arm on it. He raised an eyebrow and smiled, "Hey Sandy! How's it goin'?" The young nurse looked up to see Bo staring at her, smiling. She raised ans eyebrow and giggled, "Hi Bo!" She giggled agian and twirled her hair around her finger. Bo watched Daisy out of the corner of his eye as she snuck up behind Sandy, searching for Luke's room number. Sandy went to turn her head, Bo reacted fast. He put his hand under Sandy's chin, holding her gaze in his. He smiled again.

Daisy whistled as she snuck back around to sit with Jesse. Bo winked at Sandy, "I've gotta go!" He stood up and walked over to his family, they rushed off into the hospital to find Luke. "Call me Bo!!" Sandy cried as he left. She rested her head in her hand watching Bo like a love sick puppy.

Meanwhile, the driver of the black car had doubled back and had stopped down by Mill Pond road to find the General still there, banged up as ever.
“Jimmy, now you go on and grab the suitcase. I’ll take care of this ol’ clunker.” The driver told him.
”Yeah, but Cooper what about the driver…where’s he?”
“I heard some sirens a bit ago, I’m guessing to the hospital.” Cooper glanced quickly out of the door to see if anyone was coming. “No body in site. Later on, we’ll go to the hospital and finish him off… just incase he might be able to identify the car, which could be easily traced back to me.”
Cooper and Jimmy both dashed over to the General, and after snatching the suitcase, Cooper opened up the gas tank, “did you get the suitcase?” “yup.”
The two thugs ran back to the car and as they were flying past the General, through a match into the gas tank, sending the General up in flying colors.

Balladeer: Now friends, that’s like insulting a family member…

“Luke?!” Daisy cried hysterically as she saw her poor cousin Luke hooked up to all sorts of mechanical contraptions.
”Daisy, you’ve gotta keep quiet.” Bo held her by her shoulders, turning a bit pale himself at the site of his cousin, who looked deader then he did alive. Uncle Jesse was standing at the foot of his bed and looking down at his nephew tears started to swell up in his eyes. “Now Bo, you stay in here with him and Daisy. I’m going to find Rosco and get this whole mess straightened out!” And with that, Uncle Jesse stormed out of the room. Finding Rosco, he slumped his hat onto his head once again and walked right up to him, “Now Rosco, you tell me everything you know or I swear…!” Uncle Jesse warned.
“Woah, hold on there Uncle Jesse,” Cooter stepped in, “I’ll explain to you what I know.” As he took the elderly man aside, and after telling him what he knew he plum said he was sorry. “Now I’m going out to get the General and try to find what’s went wrong, call me if anything changes.”

Back in the hospital room, Luke was slipping in and out of consciousness. Daisy was in a teary state on the foot of his bed, and Bo was sitting right beside him, listening to the beeping of the machines talking back and forth with each other. Poor Luke’s face had cuts and gashes, his arm was in a sling and his head had gotten pretty banged up.

Balladeer: Ya’ll do realize that this whole mess started off with just a simple thing like forgetting a suitcase?

(cue: whoever gets here first)

Well as the night went on things were getting more worse then better seeing as how Luke is still out cold he hasn't made any improvements as Luke was lying on his hospital bed Bo was talking to him about his visit with Jimmy , Daisy was trying to be brave but she was having a hard time unfortunetly two tears had escaped from her she quickly wiped them away so Bo wouldn't see them but she felt so helpless and afraid that Luke would die ",

Balladeer : Whoever caused Luke's wreck sure did a bang up job since he is pretty much out of it .

Bo still was trying to get Luke to wake up but he was having not much luck since Luke has a serious head injury and just to matters worse his face is half covered with bandages when O'l Luke wakes up he is gonna be really sore ", as Bo was sitting by Luke's bedside holding his hand he was praying that he would wake up but sometimes fate has other plans ",
So as Bo and Daisy was in Luke's room trying to get him to wake up

Uncle Jesse was sitting in the waiting room trying to think of why Boss didn't want him to see Luke he was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't hear the phone ring at the front desk until the nurse said " Mr Duke Phone " , So then Uncle Jesse said " Hello Jesse Duke speaking ... Hey Cooter what are you calling about ?", Cooter said " Well Uncle Jesse i though i would call you to let you know that uh the General is pretty much bent out of shape and it is gonna take alot of late nights to get it up and running again " Then Uncle Jesse said " Cooter i'll let Bo know that he may wanna come over and help since that would help get his mind off of Luke", So then Cooter said " Uncle Jesse i ...... hope that Luke wakes up and recovers from this i sure would like to know what it happend though the other thing i wanted to let you know is that Bo's suitcase is missing .

Balladeer : Friends I sure hope they get to the bottom of this soon cause by the way Luke is doing he maybe only a memory

Luke could faintly hear Bo and Daisy in his head, the beeps of machines all around him. “Oh lordy, where am I?” he thought to himself. He tried to get himself to open his eyes but it felt like someone was weighing his eyes down with a sack of bricks. He slightly moved his hand and mumbled.
“Luke?! Luke, can you hear me?” Bo quickly jerked up as Luke’s hand flinched, but Luke didn’t say anything back to him. “Daisy go get Uncle Jesse.” Bo quickly told her. Daisy jumped up and took off down the hall to the waiting room.

Meanwhile, while poor Luke was still lying in the hospital, Cooper and Jimmy were making tracks as they doubled back to the hospital. “Now listen Jimmy, I want you to see if you can find where that guys room is, say that you’re kin of his. I’m going to see if I can find some clothes to put on, then meet me back in the waiting room so we can find ‘em.”
”Okay.”
Now as the two thugs pulled up and parked their old black car by the front entrance way of the hospital, Uncle Jesse was standing by Luke’s side talking to him and Bo was holding poor old Daisy.

“Ma’am!! My..my brother, I heard he was in a car wreck… just an hour ago! Please where is he?! Is he dead? Oh please say my baby brother ain’t dead..” Jimmy cried to the lady in the front office.
”Oh, you mean that banged up young fella? The one Sheriff Rosco brought in? He’s down the hall..room 26.” She pointed down the hall.
”Thank you!!” he called as he ran down the corridor. He stopped by the waiting room where Cooper was all decked out in scrubs and booties. “Room 26,” Jimmy whispered and the two walked down the corridor together.
”Wait, there’s someone in there…” Cooper stopped, “you stay out of site ‘till I come out and get you again you hear?” and Jimmy strolled down the way a bit.

”Excuse me,” Cooper said as he came into Luke’s room, “I need to run a few tests on the boy.”
”Oh, er…yes of course. We’ll be right outside Luke…” Uncle Jesse patted his hand before leaving the room with Bo and Daisy. “Is he going to be okay Doc?” asked Bo, “I ain’t sure yet son, I have to run some tests. Now y’all have to leave now.” He said and watched as the three Dukes walked off. Cooper walked out in the corridor, “Jimmy?” he whispered hoarsely and the two of them went back into Lukes room.
When Cooper knew the coast was clear he exposed a pistol in hand, ammo in the other, ready to end Luke’s life right there.

Balladeer: Poor Luke, it looks like he’s going to see them pearly gates a lot sooner then he expected.

Cue: anyone.

Meanwhile while the Dukes were waiting in the hallway for the man to get done running tests on Luke one of the doors down the hall opened and a pretty young woman, stepped out her eyes falling on the Dukes down the hall. Her eyes widened and she walked towards them.

Balladeer: Now this young lady is Maria Johnson. She's Daisy's best friend and lives with the Dukes seeing as how her parents were killed and Jesse couldn't see her going to an orphanage as her parents were good friends of his, she also seems to be dating Bo....ain't she pretty?

Bo caught sight of the blond as she approached them. "Ria." He cried, sweeping her into his arms when she reached them. "What;s going on y'all?" She asked, looking frantically from one face to another. "There was an accident and Luke was hurt pretty bad." Daisy cried, wrapping her arms around her friend as Bo released her. Maria nodded. "I know Rosco told me. I wanted to know why you all are standing out here and not in there with him." She said. "The doc came and told us they had to run some tests." Jesse said. Maria shook her head. "I just had myself a look at Luke's chart. He ain't scheduled for no tests." She said, and started for the door to Luke's room. Bo's eyes widened and he followed her.


Cooper got ready to pull the trigger just as the door burst open and a tall blond young man entered followed by a pretty blond girl dressed in a candy striper's uniform. "Get away from my cousin." Bo yelled as Jesse and Daisy and Rosco spilled through the door. Cooper and Jimmy looked at each other and then dodged the angry Bo and the others in the room and ran out the door. Maria hurried to Luke's side and checked for his pulse and sighed with relief. "They didn't get a chance to hurt him. But I think we better put a 24 hour watch on him at all times." She said. Bo nodded. "I'll stay." He said. Maria nodded. "I'm gonna go change and then I'll be back." She said and left the room followed by Daisy.

Balladeer: Now Cooper's and Jimmy's plans may have been messed up this time but I just know they're gonna try again. I sure hope ol' Luke wakes up soon.

Bo jumped up from his chair at the sound of a strange noise, Maria had left him a note saying that she had to go and she’d stop by later to check on Luke. A low groan came from Luke and he was barely mumbling above a whisper. “Luke! Luke, can you hear me.” Bo quickly slid to his cousin’s side, “uhhh, wha? Where am I?” Luke moaned his eyes still shut tight.
“Luke, it’s me! Bo, you know your cousin? Come on Bo, you gotta remember me.” Bo inquired hopefully.
“Bo?” he hoarsely whispered and slowly he fought the urge to fall back asleep, “wha??”
“Now you just stay right here…don’t go no where’s. I’ll be right back, I got to go call Uncle Jesse!”

Balladeer: Now how is Luke supposed to get up and leave anyways?

Within another twenty minutes Uncle Jesse and Daisy were there. Daisy was almost to tears she was so happy. “Oh Luke, you had me worried sick!” Daisy cried as she hugged Luke, and seeing him flinch in pain she quickly let go. “Now Daisy, just take it easy around him. Has the doctor came and seen him yet Bo?”
“Yup, he said that he was doing a whole lot better, but said that they need to keep him here another few nights just to make sure everything’s alright and all.”
Quietly, Jesse took Bo aside, “did those men come back?” “No sir, it was pretty quiet night.” Uncle Jesse sighed as he looked over at the state poor ol’ Luke was in. “I still don’t understand, why would anyone want to hurt him, and why take your stuff…I mean you didn’t keep nothing valuable in there.”
”I just don’t know Uncle Jesse.” Bo sighed, “I just don’t know.”

Meanwhile Cooper and Jimmy were hiding down back behind Boss Hoggs old coffin works. “Cooper, we’ve got the money can’t we just leave here?”
”No, especially not now all of those people in there got a good look at our faces. We’ve got to get ride of that driver for one thing, and that blonde haired guy at least. I don’t think the others got quite as good as look as they might have. Did you get the name of the guy?” “Yup, the chart outside of the said Lukas Duke, I guess Luke.”
”Well then I guess we’ll just have to pay Luke a little visit when he gets home.”
He looked pretty banged up. Are you sure you didn’t shoot him?” Jimmy asked nervously.
“I’m positive, I just broke the windshield and you see everything is going to work out. Now quit your blubbering and make sure it’s all in here you got it?” Cooper snapped as he pulled out another huge stack off 100-dollar bills out of the suitcase.

Balladeer: So that’s why they wanted that suitcase so bad.

Now a nurse with Rebecca Lynn came into Luke's hosptial room and she had seen everybody there and they all noticed she was there and they notice that was holding something. Bo didn't remember no nurse at the hospital with name of Rebecca Lynn, and he is wandering and she come up to hm.
Rebecca Lynn says " Bo, don't you remember me I used to live at the orphanage but you used to call me Becky then and you used to tease me then."
Bo says " Sorry , but I don't remember you Rebecca Lynn.

Maria walked into Luke's room just as Rebecca Lynn was leaving and gave her a sideways glance, full of curiousity. She didn't remember ever seeing her there before and she knew all the nurses and doctor's because she'd been volunteering there since she was seventeen. Bo smiled at her when he cxaught sight of her though she could tell it was forced. "What's wrong?" She asked. Bo shrugged. "I ain't rightly sure!! That gal that was in here said that she was in the orphanage and I knew her as Becky and that I used to tease her, but I don't remember no Becky." He said. Daisy walked through the door and hugged Maria when she caught sight of her. "How you doing Sugar?" Maria asked as she hugged her best friend. Daisy smiled weakly. "I've been better." She said and looked at Bo. "What are you two planning?" She asked.

Maria smiled and looked at Bo. "I promised I'd give Bo a ride to the house to change and then we're gonna go back to Cooter's and see what we can do about fixing up the General." She said. Daisy nodded. "Now you two be careful. Whover caused that accident might still be around." She warned them. Maria hugged her again and joined Bo in the doorway. "Don't worry!! I brought along the extra set of arrows with dynamite and another bow." She said. Daisy sighed and sat down next to Luke's bed. "Get better soon Luke!!" She whispered.

With Maria driving in her Jeep, and Bo in deep thought, it was a quiet ride to the farm. Maria stopped the car and looked at Bo and leaned over and kissed him and rested her head on his broad shoulders, “What’s on your mind sweetie? If it’s about Luke-you know he’s going to get better, he’s got a Dukes will of life.” She smiled. Bo looked down at her and kissed her head, “I know he will. But I just feel so helpless, I don’t know who’s trying to kill him and it’s killin’ me. It’s my fault he’s in that hospital, if I didn’t leave my stuff out at the bus stop he’d never had been out there to get hurt.” His eyes started to water, Maria quickly grabbed his hands “Bo, this is not your fault!! You can’t blame yourself, if it was anyones fault I bet it was those two guys in the hospital room. You blamin’ yourself ain’t going to help Luke get better anytime soon.” She looked into his eyes but he turned away and slid out of the car and headed for the farmhouse. As he swung open the door to the farmhouse he heard a click and through the corner of his eye he could see a barrel of a shotgun shinning right by his head, “Come on cowboy, if you go quietly then that pretty little gal out their ain’t going to be hurt.” Bo’s fist clentched, “You don’t lay one finger on her!!” he said through gritted teeth. “’Atta boy, now how about you go and sit down over there and wait for the old man to come home with the girl. Then we’ll have ourselves a nice little family get together, ain’t that right Bo Duke?” Cooper snarled as Jimmy gagged and tied Bo up to the chair.

Back at the hospital Luke was in and out of consiousness, but the doctor said that he was getting stronger and should be back in full consiousness within a day or so. Poor Maria, feeling pretty depressed was sitting outside in the Jeep waiting for Bo. When he didn’t come out after five minutes she started for the front door…

Maria felt something inside, maybe it was her sense of something wrong that she'd learned from Bo and Luke, but anyways something told her not to go in the house right away and to go back to her jeep and get the bow and arrows. She silently snuck around and against her better judgement picked up the Cb. "Crazy C, this here's Pretty Rebel are you there?" She asked softly. "This is Crazy Cooter coming at you Miss Maria!! What can I do for y'all?" Cooter's voice said. "Cooter I think something's happened to Bo here at the farm and I'm here alone." She said. "Now you just hang tight there Maria. I'm on my way!!" He said. Maria replaced the Cb and grabbed the Bow and arrows with dynamite and headed for the back of the house.

Balladeer: I just hope ol' Cooter gets there soon. Cause Sweet little Maria ain't sittin' tight.

Maria peered through one of the windows and released a soft gasp when she saw two men standing over Bo, who was tied and gagged to a chair in the kitchen. She quickly ducked as one man glanced towards the window and as she got a quick glimpse of him her eyes widened. It was one of the same men that had been in Luke's room. She slipped towards the door =, placing an arrow on the bow and aiming it directly at the door, just as one of the men came in. "Hold it right there Sugar!!! You tell your friend in there to release Bo or your gonna be one sorry man!! " She said, grinning when she saw Cooter slip through the shadows and go to a window out of sight of the other man.

Cooter shoved the window up softly and climbed through quietly sneaking up behind the Cooper and tapping him on the shoulder. Cooper whirled around to see an angry Cooter. "Jimmy!!" He yelled, as Maria walked through the door, prodding Jimmy along with her arrow. Cooper shoved Cooter back against the wall and then grabbed Jimmy's arm, pulling him away from the startled young woman. "You may have us beat this time Duke!!! But we'll be back!!" Jimmy said as Cooper shoved Maria aside and they ran out the door. Maria ran to untie Bo. "You Okay?" She asked, pulling the gag from his mouth. Bo nodded and pulled her to him, thankful they hadn't hurt her. He looked up at Cooter. "Let's go get the General fixed. Cause I have a feeling we're gonna need him!!" He said.

Daisy had fallen asleep next to Luke’s bed, her head resting by his side. Uncle Jesse had gotten a call from Cooter and had taken off to discuss about what was going to happen next, after the attack on Bo and Maria. Luke stirred, and his pulse became a bit quicker. Slowly he began to come back into it. Groggily he opened his eyes and the room came into focus. He couldn’t move his neck easily with all the bandages on them but through the corner of his eye he could see sweet Daisy sleeping at his side. He slowly moved his lower arm and hand, which gave Daisy a start. “Luke!” She cried and stood straight up. Luke groaned, “hey Daisy..” he cracked a faint smile, “what’s going on?” he mumbled as he looked around the room.
Now poor ol’ Lukes memory wasn’t doing to well either. Glancing at himself, his arm in a sling, arms full of gashes and hooked up to every machine he could think of he looked back at Daisy, “Did Bo get us into a car wreck?” he asked. Daisy couldn’t help but giggle and told him what she new.
Balladeer: Well looks like Luke ain’t going to them pearly gates quite yet…

“Uncle Jesse, those two men that tied me up were the same ones in the hospital room. They said they were going to do you and Daisy in too, and now I bet Maria and Cooter. One was called Jimmy, and the other Cooper. I don’t know what they were doing, but they knew who we were. ” Bo said as he sat down in Cooter’s garage, “I bet that Boss Hogg has something to do with this..” he mummbled
Uncle Jesse looked down at the ground, “ Now Bo, we can’t jump to conclusions. Besides, no matter how much he wants to see you boys in jail, he’d never purposely try to end your lives. We just have to make sure Luke gets better, then I think we might have to play low for a bit. Maybe we could move into your grandpa’s place for a spell Maria.”
”Grandpa wouldn’t mind that one bit Jesse.”
”Hey y’all, why don’t you take that car I’ve been working on, just incase they know Uncle Jesses truck and Dixie. I’ll have the General humming before tomorrow morning.” Cooter said and threw Bo the keys to the dark blue car parked outside.

Meanwhile, at the Sheriff Department Boss Hogg had just gotten a phone call. “ROSCO!! Get your hind end in here!!” He barked.
“Yes Boss?”
”All my money!! My precious money!! It’s gone… stolen!!” he cried, cigar in hand. “ You know how I was suppose to get that insurance money from Captial City?”

You send out a pb on them..you hear?? Then you and Enos go out and try to find them dirty-two-timing-low-lifes!!” he cried and Rosco ran out of Boss’s office saying, “oh I love it I love it.”

Balladeer : Man if Old Bo didn't strike paydirt that dirty O'l Boss Hogg he is gonna be madder then a wet hen when he finds what those two crooks he hired did to poor Luke he is gonna make them pay.


Meanwhile over at the Hospital Uncle Jesse had just come back into Luke's
room and told Daisy the news about them two bad dudes that hurt Luke are now after Bo , Marie , and Cooter their names are Cooper and Jimmy
Luke has been slipping in and out of Conicous during all of this he said in a sleepy voice " Unca Jesse wha.... happend my head hurts , i can't move my neck because of all these bandages how did i end up here ",

then Luke's head started hurting he moaned some then Uncle Jesse said " Luke why don't you go and close your eyes rest up don't worry about Bo ", Then Luke said " BO what happened to him he is okay right ?
Uncle Jesse didn't know what to say so he just said " Luke you don't need to waste your energy right now on worrying just rest okay boy ",

So Then Luke fell back into a peaceful sleep then Uncle Jesse said " Sweet Dreams Luke you'll be better in no time ", so as Luke was sleeping Uncle Jesse had stepped out into the hallway to ask Daisy about if she thinks Boss has anything to do with this she said " Unca Jesse i know Boss has always wanted the boys back in jail but i don't think he would do anything that would cost them their lives we have to find those bad guys before they do more harm to Luke.

Bo and Maria decided to go down to see if they could find out anything about this Jimmy and Cooper at the Sheriffs. Just as they pulled in, Enos and Rosco were pulling off and zoomed past them.
”Now where are they headin’ off to in such a hurry? Usually it’s to find me and Luke…” Bo thought outloud.
Maria and Bo walked into the Sheriffs office and looked around through a few papers. “I don’t see anything.” Maria sighed. “These are just old wanted and missing adds, nothing present.”
”Well maybe… wait what’s this?” Bo said as he held up a piece of paper, “These here are who we’re looking for. Both have been in and out of jail for fifteen years!” he showed Maria the add. “But what are they doing in Hazzard?” Maria asked, “Good question, but the only dirt that’s associated with Hazzard County is with Boss. Come on we’ve gotta find Enos and see what he knows.” Bo said and the two ran out to their cars and tore off in the direction of Rosco and Enos.

Daisy and Uncle Jesse decided to leave the hospital for a while and go grab some lunch down at the Boars Nest while a real doctor was examining Luke and doing some final tests.

Jimmy and Cooper we’re getting aniser then a jitterbug. “We shouldn’t have done that, because they seem to have people comin’ out of the woodworks!” Jimmy cried. “Jimmy, now you just hush. We’ll lay low for a few days, and once that Luke is out of the hospital we’ll get rid of every single last one of the Dukes…and any of their friends.

Balladeer: Well then I guess Jimmy and Cooper are planning to blow up Hazzard county then. Boy, I’d hate to be in Hazzard ‘round now.

Maria drove the blue car that they borrowed from Cooter, her attention on the road ahead of her, though her mind was on something else entirely. She was worried about Luke and the fact that since those men knew Bo and had tried to kill Luke she knew that they were involved in that accident somehow and would probably try again and now she and Cooter were mixed up in the whole mess. She wasn't really worried about herself though, she was more worried about Luke since he was the one hurt and laid up in the hospital.

"Hey!" Maria jumped and turned to look at Bo in surprise, not even realizing that he'd been talking to her until that moment. She smiled at him. "I'm sorry Bo!! What was it?" She asked. Bo looked at her, his blue eyes full of worry. "Are you okay?" He asked. She started to nod and then shook her head. "Bo, I'm scared." She admitted. Bo looked at her. "Maria I ain't gonna let nothin' happen to you." He said. She laughed causing him to stare at her. "I ain't scared for me, I'm scared for Luke and what might happen to him." She said. Bo grinned. "We're gonna take care of em Maria!!! Ain't nobody gonna get to em and no one else is gonna get hurt if I have anything to say about it!!!

Balladeer: I sure hope he's right cause I just hate it when anyone gets hurt!! Especially them Dukes!!

Bo, Maria,Cooter and Uncle Jesse sat in Luk room. Daisy had gone to find Enos, because it seemed that Boss Hogg had just dissapered.
Balladeer: Really, he was just hiding from them slezy double-crossers Cooper and Jimmy.

“Well, how I see it,” Cooter said, “Is that they’ve got something against ol’ Luke. They must have been following him and at the right time tried to…well you know.”

”Yeah, but that don’t explain why my suitcase is gone, and why Boss is missing, and for once Rosco ain’t chasing me!” Bo sighed.

“Well, for now we just got to keep all our own skins safe, and make sure Luke gets better. Then we’ll worry about what to do when the time comes.” Uncle Jesse said, looking over at Luke.

Bo drove Maria home. He looked over at her, “Your aqfully quiet tonight,” he said and leaned over and kissed her forehead.

Cue: anyone.

Maria smiled and kissed Bo back, “I’m sorry sweetie. I’m just pretty tired.” She ran her hand along his jaw line, tracing his jawbone. “Do you want to come inside for a while?” she asked as she stepped out from the car. Bo went around to the other side of the car and wrapped his arms around her waist and started to kiss her neck. “If you promise not to worry anymore about nothing.” He smiled. Maria led Bo inside and after Bo started a quick fire in the hearth she snuggled up next to him on the couch. Bo softly stroked her arm and Maria fell asleep in his broad arms.

At the hospital Uncle Jesse stayed the night this time. Luke woke up for a few minutes here and there and asked how Bo and the General and Daisy were, but was still weak and slept a lot of the time. Poor Jesse hated to see Luke like this. He got out the bible that was sitting next to Luke’s nightstand and started reading scriptures and praying for poor Luke and whoever did this to him would be sorry, he vowed.

Daisy had early on caught up with Enos, who said that he hadn’t seen Boss Hogg for a day now. “I overheard him and the Sheriff talking about money though. It sounds like Boss’s lost a whole lot of money.” He said. Daisy drove over to Cooter’s place and waited for Bo to come by so the two could drive home, but when he never did show up Cooter let her sleep up in the spare room of the garage.

Now Cooper and Jimmy had left Boss Hogg’s old coffin mill and moved down into an old still site where there was a small shack, hidden safely behind trees. While Hazzard was resting, they were planning on what to do next.

Bo slowly opened his eyes the next morning, and there was Maria, contently curled up next to him on the couch. He bent over and kissed her lips and Maria stirred, “shh.” Bo whispered, “I’ll see you later.” He kissed her once again and slid off the couch. He quietly shut the door behind him and sighed. “Another day, another day not knowing whose trying to kill Luke” he thought to himself. He walked out to Cooters blue Sudan he had borrowed and drove off to Cooters garage. “Oh no! Daisy!” Bo moaned. “I totally forgot about her!” He sped off. Once he got out, there was Daisy sitting on top of the General Lee’s hood.
“Forget something Bo?” she said, staring straight at him.
“Daisy I’m real sorry. I totally forgot!” he gave her his best smile.
“Well thanks to Cooter here, I had somewhere to sleep last night.” She broke in a small smile. “Now come on. The General’s purring and we need to go and relive Uncle Jesse.” She said and slid off the hood.
“Thanks Cooter! We owe you!” Bo called as he tossed him the keys and spin off in the General, with Dixie close behind.

Down at the hospital Luke was awake again for about ten minutes, long enough to say hi to Bo and Daisy.
“How is he Jesse?” Bo asked anxiously.
“Well he got up a lot last night, no more then for two minutes at a time. He was extremely restless, and the doctor said he might be coming down with a fever because his temperature is rising. Dr. Norman said that it’d be at least another two days minimum before he could be released from the hospital, but he’d be put on bed rest and a nurse would have to come by every other day to check on him. He won’t be able to do nothing physical either, plus with a broken arm he wouldn’t be anyways.” Uncle Jesse sighed.
“Well then we’ll just have to make sure he gets better mighty quick so we can get him out of the hospital!” Daisy said and hugged Bo good-bye as she drove Uncle Jesse home.

“Psst!! Rosco!! Over here!” Boss whispered.
“Boss? Is that you little fat buddy?” Rosco asked. “why aren’t you in your little chubby white suit?”
“Don’t you little fat buddy me!! I’m trying to hide from Cooper and Jimmy that’s why!! Have you found anything of those two crooks?” Boss Hogg asked from behind a bush where he was pretending to be a lawn worker. He had a trucker hat pulled over his eyes, a plaid button up shirt and a pair of jeans on.
“That’s a negative little fat buddy. But Boss, you remember when I told you about Luke Duke?”
“What about him?”
“Well you see. Bo, Jesse, Cooter, Daisy and Maria all saw them with their own eyes and identified them in the wanted add.”
“What?! You mean that Cooper and Jimmy we’re the ones who tried to…” Boss eyes widened.
“That’s a big 10-4.” Rosco said.
“Well… um… I…” Boss stumbled over words.
“You do know that this your fault Boss right? I mean if you wouldn’t have hired them two crooks to get that money, Luke would never have been in the hospital on his death bed…”
“Death bed! Oh no no no!” Boss cried, “Rosco you find Jimmy and Cooper and find my money!!! They’re going to have to talk to me!! Theres going to be no killing in my county… bad publicity.”
“That’s a 10-4!” Rosco exclaimed
“Howdy Sheriff! Why are you talking to that bush?” Enos asked.
“Enos! You dipstick!” Rosco scuffed, “Don’t you go around sneakin’ up on me like that!”
“Sorry Sheriff. Daisy was here last night, she wanted to know if you had found Cooper and Jimmy yet.”
“Does it look like I have Enos?”
”No sir.”
“Then I don’ts got them! Geez!” Rosco rolled his eyes and the two walked off. While Boss quickly got into a dark green car and drove off.

Balladeer: Now friends, this is becoming a bigger mess then National Pie Throwing Day.

Balladeer : Things ain't lookin' too good for the Dukes since Luke is getting worse by developing a fever , them two bad dudes still around
if it wasn't for Boss's greed the Dukes wouldn't be stuck in this mess.

Meanwhile over at the Hospital Bo was sitting by Luke's bedside while Luke's Doctor had just finished checking on him then he told Bo " Bo your cousin probably will be able to go home Wednesday since he has to stay in the hospital until his fever has gone down ", Bo then said " I know Doc my Unca Jesse told me about it and the fact that Luke was restless last night ", Then Doctor left the boys alone while Luke was in a deep sleep caused by his fever Bo just looked at him praying that he would be okay soon on acccont he really feels bsd for Luke he wants them bad people that did this to him to pay every red cent he is gonna make sure of it.

So as Bo was keeping Luke Company Daisy was driving Uncle Jesse back to the farm and poor Uncle Jesse was awful worried about Luke he wishes he knew why this had to happen but he has no idea if only he knew that Boss is behind but don't worry he'll find out eventually Unfortunetly Daisy's own worries were showing to she said to Uncle Jesse " Unca Jesse do you think Luke will ever get better i mean he looks so banged up , tired and now he has this possibly fever i don't want him get anymore worse ",

Then Uncle Jesse said " neither do i Daisy but we are gonna make sure he get's better soon i hope he get's better soon the good news is that the doctor said that he is only gonna have to stay in the hospital for a few more days then he can come home but sadly he'll be on bed rest ", a couple minutes later they arrive at Dukefarm Jesse is getting out Daisy says " Unca Jesse i'm gonna go on over to the hospital to help Bo out with Luke so that he can get a break ", then Uncle Jesse said " I'll probably be by later Daisy i need to get something to eat first .

Daisy drove to the hospital and walked through the plain pestilential white walls until she reached Luke’s room. There was Bo, standing and staring out the window in deep thought. She sighed and entered the room and went over and kissed Luke on the cheek first, but he gave no response to anything. Bo looked over and smiled faintly at her, “Hey Dais. You going to stay with him tonight?” “Yeah, you can go home. Uncle Jesse will need you tomorrow with finishing those fence posts and all since Luke can’t…” she stopped. “Yeah I know.” He said and after hugging Daisy left for the farm.

THE NEXT MORNING
“You got it Beth?” Cooper gruffed into the phone.
“Yup. Tonight.” The small girl quickly hung up the phone and walked back down the hospitals hallway.

“Hello Daisy.” Dr. Carter smiled, “Luke’s fever has went down since last night. Much better. He should be ready by tomorrow to go home, but he must stay inside and in bed.” He warned.
“Oh thank you Dr. Carter.” Daisy cried and hurried off to tell Uncle Jesse the good news.
When she returned Luke had woken again and was a lot more alert and aware of things. “Hey Daisy.” He half smiled. The doc had taken most of the bandages off, besides a few stitches on his forehead and chin his face wasn’t too bad.
“Oh Luke!” she gasped and ran over to him and lightly kissed his cheek. “How are you feeling?”
“Like a car ran into me.” He chuckled a little bit. “How’s everyone?” he briefly asked and Daisy filled him in and after about fifteen minutes he fell back into a peaceful sleep.

Bo had to work in the fields all day with Jesse, and Maria was in town working for Daisy at the Boars Nest. Boss Hogg, well figuring that Cooper and Jimmy had skipped town with his money he came back out from hiding. “Thanks right, my money was stolen from my office! Yes, five minutes after delivered.” Boss cried into the phone, “oh, a million dollars you say? Why that is just oh so very kind of you, helping a poor lil ol’ thing like me. Yes, my finest officers are out looking for those, I mean that crook right now. Thank you, you too. Buh bye now.” Boss laughed greedily as he hung up the phone. “Did you hear that Rosco? One million samollians are coming my way! All thanks to Jimmy and Cooper!” he cried.

Well while Boss’s little eyes were seeing green, so were Coopers and Jimmys. “So what did the doctor say?” Cooper asked Beth.
“Tomorrow afternoon he’ll be ready to check out. I heard Daisy talking to her uncle about when to pick him up, about 12:30 after Daisy gets done with her shift at the Boars nest.” Beth smiled
“Great, you know what to do?” Cooper asked her,
“We’ve been over this a hundereds of times!” Beth sighed, “I’ll slip him the sedative tonight and his heart will be crazier then you.” She teased Cooper. “Anyways, then it’ll look like he’s dying. That’ll give you enough time to go back home and get George and Mary(friends of Cooper and Jimmy). Then whenever Luke gets better we’ll take him with us, and you’ll kill the rest of them. Yes yes yes.. I know!!” she sighed.
“Good,” Cooper smiled. “Very good baby sis.” He laughed evily.

Maria locked up after she was done with work and walked out to her jeep feeling chills race through her as she nervously glanced around the dark parking lot. She started to slide behind the wheel just as someone grabbed her wrist and yanked her out of the jeep, throwing her roughly to the ground. She screamed as she tried to scramble back to her feet, just as a loud roar of an engine cut through the air and the General roared into view. Cooper released Maria and took off running into the darkness as the General slid to a halt next to the frightened young woman and Bo slid out running to her side. "You okay?" He asked, pulling her up to her feet and pushing her over to the General.

Maria nodded shakily as bo lifted her into his arms and helped her through the window then ran back around to the driver's side and slid behind the wheel and sped out of the parking lot. "Who was it?" He asked, glancing over at her. Maria shivered. "It was one of them fella's that we think hurt Luke." She cried. Bo slammed his fist against the steering wheel. "That's it!! You ain't leaving my sight until this thing is taken care of!!" He said.

Cue anyone

So After Marie got calmed down enough Bo told her to get over to the Boars Nest on accont of Daisy needs help over their he said that he would be by later since he has to help Uncle Jesse around the farm plus Bo is stuck doing Luke's chores also since he can't at the moment",

Anyway before Marie pulled out of the farms driveway she said " Okay Bo i'll see you later at the Boars Nest but i really hope that we get those guys soon on accont of i'm worried about what they have planned to do next Luke what if they really do kill him, Then Bo said " Honey ain't no gonna hurt Luke again while i'm around besides Luke will be safe here at the farm with us so you don't have to worry ", Then Marie said I sure hope your right Bo ", then she made her way on over to the Boars Nest .

Meanwhile over at the hospital Luke was still sleeping from this morning he was looking better though but he was still rather weak and tired thankfully his fever went down unfortunetly though he is gonna be facing a close call later tonight he ain't gonna remember anything about ",

Meanwhile in the medical supply room that nurse that claimed to know Bo is actually part of the Cooper and Jimmy gang she is their sister unfortunetly later tonight she is gonna slip Luke an Sedative which is gonna make his heart go crazy and also it is gonna make Luke look like he died when he really is just in a deep sleep .

Balladeer : Oh Lordy friends if the Dukes only knew that their worst fear is gonna be coming true tonight. :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :-? :o

“Howdy Maria!” called Daisy as she took up another order at the Boars Nest. Maria smiled and nodded and went into the back room to change and then came back out and helped Daisy, explaining what had happened earlier. “Oh! Don’t you worry Maria, you’re safe here with so many people around.” Daisy smiled and hugged her friend.

Bo was busily helping Uncle Jesse with some fence posts and just odds and ends around the farm. It was starting to get dusk, and Bo and Uncle Jesse decided to go back to the farm house and change before going to pick up Daisy and Maria so they could go see Luke one more time before they could take him home in the morning.

But, little did they know that Beth was in Lukes room at that moment. She looked around outside in the hallway and quickly locked the door. Luke stirred and opened his eyes and started to cough “wha?” he mumbled. “Shh. It’s okay, umm…the doctor told me to give you this pain medicine, so that you can feel better at home.” Beth quickly said and stepped past his bed and over to the IV drip and shot a surgine full to the brim with a sedative. Luke looked at her and his eyes widened for a second but his head dropped to one side and his heart monitor started buzzing like crazy, picking up beats and getting faster and faster. She undid a machine, so that no sound came out of it but the lights flashed.Luke went really pale and he slumped down in bed. Beth quickly ran out of the room and down the hallway.

”Jimmy? It’s Beth, yes everything’s taken care of. They should be here within about ten minutes so I’m going to leave. I”ll keep an eye on him…no it’ll be about another two days before he wakes up. Yes, his memory will be gone for a while… maybe two weeks minimum? Yeah. Okay, bye.” Beth hung up the phone and quickly left the hospital to meet up with Cooper and Jimmy.

“I’m so happy we get to take Luke home tomorrow.” Daisy smiled as the Dukes walked through the hospital, Maria had decided to stay home with another friend while they went alone. “He was doing so much better this morning Uncle Jesse, I wish you could have seen him. We talked for at least twenty-minutes before he slept again!” Daisy sighed.

As the Dukes entered the waiting room, Uncle Jesse stopped to talk to the assistant about everything they needed to do for Luke and Bo stopped with him to talk to Sandy real quick. Now sweet Daisy walked down to Lukes room and as she pushed open the door her jaw dropped and she let out a scream. Bo jerked up and dashed down to his room and quickly grabbed Daisy who was leaning against the doorframe, balling.
“What’s wrong?!” Bo asked out of breath.
“He’s…he’s…he’s DEAD!” she burst into tears.
Bo couldn’t believe her words he let go of her and stared at Luke, who looked dead in the hospital bed. His skin was about the same color as the white walls, his limbs hung loosely at his side, and machines were flashing crazily. But then all of a sudden they just stopped and everything was slow, and extremely quiet. Bo looked pale and took a step forward to his bed. Uncle Jesse had come up by now and he stood holding Daisy who was crying on his shoulder, he took off his hat and stood there, unable to comprehend what was going on. Bo looked at Luke, his eyes starting to water and he put his hands on the end of the bed and bit his lip. “I never thought it would be like this… I always figured I’d be right there next to you.” He whispered under his breath and closed his eyes. “This is all my fault.” He whispered and tears started rolling down his face.

Balladeer : Poor Luke he is sure suffering but the Dukes don't know that he ain't dead he is just a comatosed sleep state what them bad people have in store for him next only time wilil tell.


Meanwhile in Luke's hospital room Bo was trying to wake Luke up having no such luck " Luke , Luke , Luke , c'mon cuz please , then Bo checks Luke's pulse he sees that he still has one only it is weak he says " Y'all i don't know what happend here but Luke is sure in a mess ", by that time Daisy had stopped crying she said " Unca Jesse what are we gonna do ? i bet them people that caused his wreck are the ones responible for this ",

Then Bo turned to look at Daisy and said " You know Daisy you might be right they have gone too far this time and it .......... never would have happend if that suitcase hadn't been missing this is all my fault i ... i
should have gone to get the Suitcase not Luke then i would be here ",

Back in Hazzard Marie was pulling up to the hospital parking lot she was
really hoping that Luke is doing better so he can come home tomorrow
anyway she spots the general so she walks over she notices that Bo left his wallet in the front seat so she picks it up carries it into Luke's hospital room she notices that all Dukes are standing around Luke's bed looking sad so she walks over to Bo she says " Bo honey you forgot your wallet so i brought it in for you what happend ?", then Bo says " Well uh .... Luke's condition just got worse he ain't doing so good he won't wake up
it's like he is in a comatosed state only i don't know why ".

Then Marie notices all the machines are off she says " Oh My Lord somebody must have come in here messed with Luke's machines then she notices a needle by his IV she says " Hey someone must have put something in hs IV he ain't dead Y'all.

Then Bo said What the heck happend then to him if he ain't dead "? Then Marie looked at him curiously and said " Well Bo i don't know cause we wasn't here so maybe someone gave Luke some type of drug he looks to me like he is just asleep only in a deep sleep but i don't know what they gave him so can't tell y'all when it will wear off . Then Bo got this serious look on his face said ' I'm gonna get to the bottom of this i bet Boss is behind it in someway and i'm gonna make him pay.

The doctor moved Luke up to the ICU where they could keep a better eye on him.
”It’s still unsure what exactly happened. We’re going to try to figure out what type of drug was slipped into the drip, but so far he’s stable.” The doctor told the Duke family. All of the Dukes and Maria stayed the night at the hospital. Bo couldn’t sleep much, he moved restlessly around the room, watching the heart rate monitors lines move sharply up and down on the screen. Maria woke up in the middle of the night, and when she looked around she couldn’t find Bo. She sat straight up in the chair she was sleeping in and quietly shook Daisy.
“Daisy..wake up. Have you seen Bo? He’s not here.” Maria whispered.
“Wha?” Daisy yawned, “What about Bo?” she opened her eyes.
“He’s gone!” Maria whispered.
“Gone?! What? Well where’d he go?” Daisy sat up.
“I don’t know. I’m going to go try to find him. You stay here and if I’m not back within an hour call Enos. He can get a hold of Rosco and maybe we can try to find him.” She said and quickly left the small room.
She moved down the quiet hallways, peeing into waiting rooms and vacant rooms here and there. As she entered outside she looked around for the General, but it was no where to be seen. “Great, he took General, who knows where he could be then…” she sighed and got into her Jeep and headed down towards the farmhouse. When not finding him there, she checked Cooters but he said he hadn’t seen Bo for a day or so now. As the time crept by Maria was starting to grow worried, her mind was racing. “Was he forced to go? Or did he just leave for a drive? Or is he by the side of the road somewhere?” she whirled down the back roads, and as an hour and a half past she had almost given up hope when she thought of one last place to check; the place where Luke had crashed. She jerked the car around and sped off towards that spot. When she arrived she was hoping to see him, but nothing, it looked like no one had been on that road for days. She stopped the car and stared around her. Looking up to the stars, she prayed he was all right.

Well, Bo was all right, resting against a branch up in a great Oak tree him and Luke use to hang out in when they skipped school. They had built a small platform where they could sit on but since then had started to rot away. He heard nothing but a crickets chirp and an occasional hoot of an owl. His legs hung over the side and his cheeks scratched against the bark. He sighed and rested his eyes, leaning against the back of the tree.

“Yeah, she’s been gone for about an hour and a half now Enos. I’m really getting worried, please call Rosco and I’ll be in town in about twenty-minutes, then we all can start searching.” Daisy hung up the phone and went back to where Uncle Jesse was sitting in his chair. “We’re going to go out looking for them, you stay here with Luke. “What what what?” Boss barked into his phone.
“It’s me Boss, Rosco.”
”Rosco, what are you doing calling me at two in the morning!” He snapped.
“Well I thought’d I let you know that Enos just called me and-“
”I don’t care!”
”But it has to do with Cooper and Jimmy!”
“Cooper and Jimmy!” boss gasped, “Tell me!”
”Well you know how Luke Duke got in that horrendous car crash last week? Well the Dukes think it was these two guys named Cooper and Jimmy because they tried to kill Luke again, and then tried to kill Bo and Cooter two days ago, and-“
”Kill? Wait! This is great!! Hahaha. This is great!!” Boss laughed.
“Not really Boss, you see Luke just got transferred to ICU and he’s out like a light I tell you. And Bo’s missing and Daisy thinks that it was Cooper and Jimmy who-“
”Not about THAT!! I mean that means they’re still in Hazzard and that I can still get my money back!!” Boss cried. “Now you go and find Cooper and Jimmy and get my million dollars back… then I’ll have twice as much when the insurance money comes!!” he laughed.
“But what about Bo and Luke?”
”Huh? Oh yeah them. Well Lukes a vegetable now, but Bo. Well send Enos out for him…but you go get my money!!!” he cried.

Balladeer : Friends Luke is sure out like a light the Dukes still don't know why but fortunetly Luke is still stable which is a good thing but unfortunetly
he may not wake up since the drug that Beth gave him lasts for 2 days..


Meanwhile in Luke's room he was still out like a light , his heart monitor was going up and down fast and Uncle Jesse was sitting their praying for Luke to wake up soon make some sorta sign that he is okay but sadly friends that may not happen for awhile but Uncle Jesse wasn't gonna give up so he picked up Luke's hand he said ' Luke i need you to wake up boy c'mon please you was just starting to get better now your back to where you was you have to wake up Luke Bo is missing ",

Meanwhile in Hazzard : Bo was still sitting up on that tree wishing he knew what was so important in that suitcase that Luke had to be killed over he then started to think possibly boss did it for money ",


somewhere in town Cooper and Jimmy was getting ready to pick up Luke tomorrow he said " you know this is going so easy that Dukeboy is gonna be so confused he won't know what to do "? Jimmy said " Cooper what if this don't work he could very well wake up remember us and identify Beth but then again Beth did say that his memory is not good
Then Cooper replied " Yeah that way he won't suspect a thing since he is gonna be out of it and confused he won't remember anything ",

Meanwhile back at the Hospital Beth was getting ready for tomorrow since she is gonna take Luke out to their car while he is still rather confused.

Maria was driving down the road and suddenly remembered one place that Bo had told her about, where he and Luke liked to go and sit and turned off the road and went into the bushes, sighing in relief when she caught sight of the General. She slid out of the jeep and walked over to the tree. "Bo!" She called, softly, looking up into the tree. She jumped when someone grabbed her around the waist, pulling her behind the tree. She started to scream but was stopped when a hand clamped over her mouth. "Sssh, Maria it's Bo!!" His voice said gently in her ear. She sighed and sank back against him. "Why'd you grab me like that?" She asked. "I think someone's watching us!!" he said, peering back around the tree and into the darkness. "Who?" She asked. Bo turned back around and placed a finger to his lips. "I don't know!! I thought I saw a car pull in them bushes over there." He said, pointing.

Balladeer : Things are sure heating up for the Dukes i sure hope they can find out who is behind this mess before Luke get's any worse.


So Early the Next Morning at the Hospital Luke was still asleep and the doctor still was puzzled about what type of drug Beth gave to Luke but unfortunetly friends it ain't over yet since Beth is planning on sabatoging Luke while he is still sleepy but that won't be until later today ",

So as that was going on Bo and Marie were still wondering who was watching them in the car parked in the bushes as it turned out it is none other then Rebecca lynn a nurse who also works over at the hospital wondering when to contact Cooper and Jimmy to tell them when to get Bo , Cooter , and Marie out of the way so they won't be in their when they get Luke but they won't get him until they get back from South Carolina with George and Mary who are gonna fit into the plan later.

While them bad dudes was plotting on how to destroy Hazzard plan was going on Bo was asking Marie how did you find me ?" She said " Well i just remembered this place on accont of you and Luke used to come here and Bo i know your worried about him but he is okay don't worry i bet the doctors are gonna find out what happend to Luke soon since now he is in the ICU they can keep an eye on him their ", Bo says

" Honey i can't stand to be in that hospital room seeing Luke like that this is all my fault baby if it wasn't for that dane suitcase ", Then marie said " Bo what exactly was all in the suitcase that someone may want to have ?", then Bo said " Well um just a bunch of stuff like my clothes , some things i brought back with me from my visit with Jimmy , and some Money ", Then Bo thought of something " Wait a minute they could have wanted that suitcase cause of the money i got a feeling that Boss Hogg is involved in this someway.

Balladeer : if that don't hit the nail on the head since Boss is the reason this is all happening to poor Luke.

Bo and Maria had driven back to the hospital where; after checking in with Daisy, talked in the parking lot for a bit, trying to figure out what was going on.
“I’m just not exactly sure Maria. I couldn’t have had more then ten dollars in that suitcase. Why in the heck would someone want to kill someone for ten bucks?” he wondered.
“I don’t know Bo. It does seem pretty dumb, for ten bucks I mean. Maybe later on in the morning we can go find Boss and ask him,”
“not that we’ll get anything out of that pig.”
“Hogg you mean?” Maria laughed as her and Bo headed back inside to go join Daisy and Uncle Jesse.
When they got to the room Luke was in Enos was there, talking softly with Daisy and Jesse. Poor Luke hadn’t changed a bit since they’d left.
“I’m real sorry y’all, to see Luke like this and all.” He mumbled, playing with his hat nervously in his hands.
“Thanks Enos.” Daisy smiled and hugged him. It was almost five in the morning now and Enos left to report to town.
“Well I guess we ain’t moving for a while then.” Bo sighed and sat down in a chair in the corner of the room with Maria sitting next to him.

Cooper and Jimmy had driven to Charleston South Carolina to grab George and Mary, some old time friends of theirs to help execute their plans. Once back at the hideout they ran through the plans again.
“So basically you want me to distract, uh what was his name?” Mary asked.
“Bo, he’s a tall blonde, drives a bright orange car with 01 on the side and the confederate flag on top. Impossible to miss.” Jimmy said.
“Right, Bo. Then George will get their Uncle out of the way, but what about the girl?”
“We’ll take care of her and that mechanic guy, along with Bo’s girlfriend. Now once your done with Bo you need to double back to the hospital where Beth will be in the car. You need to help her with Luke, just in case. You two head back to the house and we’ll meet up from there.” Cooper smirked. “That Hogg won’t have a dime left to his name when we’re through with him.” He laughed.


Meanwhile the Dukes were still sitting in the hospital, hoping for some improvement. But there was little improvement; except that his heart rate was starting to become a little bit normal but not by much.

“Boss?”
“What is it?”
“I was wondering if them two guys, Jimmy and Cooper have been caught yet. Luke’s in an awful state.” Enos asked.
“Enos! You leave them Dukes alone, and they don’t even know if Jimmy and Cooper were the ones who did it-“
“Oh but Mr. Hogg, they saw them with their own eyes when they tried to kill Luke…”
“Enos, why don’t you go patrol the streets, see if you can find them yourself.”
“Oh, I will Mr. Hogg, but there was a call while you out for breakfast from the insurance company about that million dollars that was stolen from you. Shouldn’t I be helping look for the crooks who-“
“Uh… Enos not now!” Boss barked and Enos quickly left the room.

Balladeer : Well friends things are starting to heat up but it gonna get better though in the end.

Well Bo , Daisy, Uncle Jesse, and Marie was hoping Luke would make some sorta improvement just when they was about to give up Bo heard a moan he looked over here it was coming from Luke he walked over he said " Luke your awake oh my lord i thought you never would ",

then Luke looked at Bo with a confused look said " Who are y'all , why am i here , and who is Luke ?", then Bo said " Luke you don't remember us where your family and this is marie my girlfriend are you saying you don't know who we are ?", Luke said " I don't know who you is but wh... then Luke fell back to sleep Bo just looked at him said " Shoot he his asleep again dane what are we gonna do y'all ", Then Daisy said well why don't we go look for those crooks who hurt Luke.

So then Bo and Daisy left to go find them crooks Bo was just driving along in the General Lee on the road that Luke had his wreck on but little did he know that he was being followed by Mary who pretends to have car problems so Bo would stop so she pulled over to the side of the road then 20 minutes later Bo shows up sees her he says " what seems to be the problem miss "? she says " Well my car just quit on me ", so then Bo started checking it out as he was under the hood she pulled out a gun said okay plowboy put your hands up don't move ", then she shot the General's tires and pulled out the CB she then took off back to the hospital to help Beth with Luke while her friend was gonna get Jesse.

So Meanwhile out on the Highway George was calling on over to the Hospital to talk to Uncle Jesse so then the phone rang in Luke's room Uncle Jesse picked it up so he said " Hello this is Jesse Duke ", George said " Mr. Duke your other nephew Bo has gotton into a wreck unfortunetly he is in a hospital about 20 miles outside of Hazzard ", Then Uncle Jesse said " Okay i'm on my way ", then George laughed called Cooper and Jimmy said " it is all taken care of he is on his way ", Then Cooper repiled " Good work George now head on back to the Hideout ",

Meanwhile Cooper and Jimmy was now in action to get Daisy and Cooter out of the way so they figured to put Cooter in jail for stealing money from the Boars Nest ", for Daisy to tell her about Bo's wreck so as they were pulling into Cooter's garage Cooper was teling Jimmy to get Cooter while he goes and get's Daisy so Jimmy got out he said " You is under arrest Cooter for stealing money from the Boars Nest ", which Cooter said you can't be serious "? Then Jimmy pulls out his gun he says " you wouldn't want to die before your time ?" So then Cooter followed him then they took off to the County Jail .

Meanwhile over at the Boars Nest it was hard to get Daisy out so he said " look i didn't wanna tell you this but your Cousin Bo is in the hospital about 20 miles away so she hurried on out of the Boars Nest ", then Cooper met up with Jimmy at the county courthouse he said " you know this plan is working like a charm now all that is left to do is for the girls to get Luke which is gonna be easy since he is Zonked out ",

Meanwhile Mary had just pulled into the back of the Hospital went into to find Beth so that she could help her get Luke out of the hospital before his family shows back up wonders what happend.

Bo was sitting on the hard ground with his back scratching against the back of an old chair. He was blindfolded, gagged, and ankles and hands tied behind him. He heard commotion outside. “Let go of me!” a muffled sound of a young womens voice came through. “Daisy! They’ve gotten Daisy!” Bo thought and tried to stand up, “Hold it right their plowboy. Don’t move, you feel this barrel right here,” George snapped, pointing the barrel of the gun to his head, “If you move an inch your cousin gets it.” Bo slumped back against the chair, unable to do anything.

Uncle Jesse, not knowing it was being followed by Jimmy who wasn’t exactly the best trailer. He was trying to follow him somewhere a little more quiet but Uncle Jesse was cutting through Hazzard Square, and he’d never be able to get the old man with so many people around. Uncle Jesse didn’t even notice, he was just trying to hurry to the hospital where Bo was supposedly at. Jimmy tried to catch up with Jesse but after taking a few back dirt roads and taking a split junction, Jimmy lost him. Jimmy cursed and slammed on the brakes.
“Coop? It’s me… I’ve lost the old man.” He said.
“Jimmy! You idiot! How could you loose him!? Well forget about it for right now. Just get back here!” Cooper growled as George tied and gagged sweet Daisy up next to Bo.
“Mary called, she’s at the hospital right now. Rebecca’s is getting’ the doctor to switch him out of the room, and she’s going to wheel him right out of that hospital. They ain’t gonna know what even hit them!” George smiled as him and Cooper walked outside to wait for Mary and Rebecca and Beth.
“Daisy?” Bo tried to talk with the gag. “Its Bo.” He said muffled.
“Bo!” Daisy coughed.
“Shh. I’ll think of something” he managed to muffle out. “I hope she got that.” He thought to himself.

Meanwhile Uncle Jesse had reached the hospital George had told him to go to, but not finding Bo he was starting to get a sinking feeling about what was really going on. So he hurried on back to Hazzard to see if Cooter had heard anything of him or Daisy. But he couldn’t find him either, so he went to the courthouse to see if Enos had seen anyone and was surprised to see Cooter behind bars.
“Cooter! I’ve been looking for Bo, I got a call saying he was in the hospital, but he wasn’t there. Have you heard from him? And why in the world are you behind bars?”
“Sorry Uncle Jesse, I haven’t heard from Bo for a while now. And these two guys with guns came and told Boss here that I had stolen from the Boars Nest, but they aren’t listening to me.” Cooter glared at Boss.
“J.D. HOGG! YOU LET COOTER GO THIS INSTANT!” Uncle Jesse boomed. “You know as well as I do Cooter ain’t stolen no money from the Boars Nest, and I know that someway you are involved with this Cooper and Jimmy guys. And that’s why Luke’s in the hospital and my family is missing! Now LET HIM GO!” he growled.
Boss stammered with words and frowned, “Well I-“ he stopped. “We don’t have enough ev-idence to keep you Cooter so I guess you can go for now.” He threw his hands in the air and shuffled into his office.
“Come on Cooter, we’ve got to find Bo and Daisy and then go back to make sure Lukes okay.” Uncle Jesse said and the two headed out from the courthouse.

At the hospital Rebecca had gotten the doctor to agree that Luke was stable enough to move him out of the ICU and down into a standard room. He was unhooked from everything but his IV. With Beth’s help she and Rebecca said they’d wheel him down into his new room and get him settled, since the doctor had an emergency on another floor. In the elevator instead of going up to the regular rooms, they went down a floor. Where the entrances were and quickly wheeled him to the stock room.
“Grab me a few cotton strips there, and the tape. We need to take this IV out.” Rebecca ordered Beth. “Here, now cut the circulation off from his upper arm. Yeah, hold his arm real tight right there. Now I’m going to pull the IV out, and once I do make sure you put all the pressure you can on his arm or else this could get dangerous.” She warned. “Now!” she said as she pulled the IV out and tapped down the cotton strips. “Okay, good.” That’ll do for right now. Now grab that bag right there, I put a bunch of stuff in it. You know just in case something goes wrong. Now let’s hurry up. Mary’s in back.” She said and her and Beth wheeled the half-conscious Luke out into the back where Mary was. They swung him into the back seat and sped off towards the hideout.

“You got him?” Cooper asked excitedly.
“Yup, now help us carry him in. We didn’t have enough room for the wheelchair.” Mary told Cooper, Jimmy, and George.
“So it went okay then?” Jimmy asked as the three guys carried Luke into the house. Bo and Daisy were still sitting there, not knowing what was going on.
“Yup, the doctor was easy to overcome. I took out his IV but I need to make sure it’s okay. If it doesn’t work properly it could be real nasty in a little bit.” Rebecca said and they brought Luke into a back room where Rebecca finished up with Luke.
“How long will Luke be out of-“
“Hush! His cousins are right there..” Jimmy warned nervously
“Oh please. They’ll be dead in a few hours anyways. Who cares!” George smiled.

Jesse and Cooter were surprised when a jeep squealed to a halt in front of the courthouse and a tall blond young woman jumped our, running across the sidewalk, her steps quick and panicked, wide blue eyes full of fear and worry, as she reached them. "They got Luke, Bo and Daisy!!!" She cried frantically. Jesse grabbed her shoulders and looked into her frightened eyes. "Now wait a minute!!! Who's got em?" He asked. "That nurse Rebecca Lynn and a coupla other gals. I was going to the hospital to see how Luke was doing and saw them wheeling him out to a car. I hid and when they left the parking lot I followed em right back to their hideout and took a look around. They have Bo and Daisy too and they're gonna kill em!!!" She cried.

Jesse and Cooter exchanged glances. "Maria did you see any sign of the General?" Jesse asked. Maria nodded. "It's got a coupla flat tires and the Cb is ripped out!!" She said, looking over at Cooter as she said this. Cooter nodded. "All right....Let's you an me go out there and get the General going and I think Uncle Jesse is gonna go have a talk with Rosco and Enos!!!" Cooter said, looking at Jesse who nodded. "You two go on ahead an' we'll meet you out therte." He said. Cooter and Maria nodded and ran for cooter's truck. "Maria!!!" Jesse called after her. She stopped and turned back around. "You realize you and the General are the only hope now?" He asked. Maria nodded. "Be careful." He said and went back up the steps as Maria and Cooter climbed in the truck.

Balladeer: Maria's sure got a lot riding on her shoulder's!!! I sure hope she can live up to it!!!

Meanwhile in the front of the hideout Bo and Daisy was still sitting their totally unaware of the fact that Luke is now out of the hospital being held for ransom also even though he is not doing so hot since he is still somewhat affected by that drug that Beth gave him when he wakes up he is gonna be totally confused and lost since he doesn't remember a thing.

Meanwhile Uncle Jesse and Cooter was searching high and low for Luke , Bo , and Daisy but they is having no luck since they ain't got the slightest idea of where Bo and Daisy is and not realizing that Luke ain't in the hospital no more so then Uncle Jesse told Cooter to just head on over to the Hospital since we ain't having no luck in finding Bo and Daisy.

Meanwhile back over at the hideout Luke was still out of it while Rebecca was checking his IV seeing that it looked okay only now Luke did look a little pale so she said ' Well he maybe losing some blood ", So she got her bag and pulled out a cotton ball some tape put it on the site where the needle was then she said " Well that should hold it for now the stuff should be wearing off in about 2 weeks so we could when he wakes up he won't remember a thing which will work fine for what we have in mind for him and his Cousins.

Meanwhile Uncle Jesse and Cooter had arrived at the hospital Uncle Jesse walked up to the front desk asked if he could see his nephew Luke the nurse said " Well Mr. Duke Luke was just moved out of the ICU in a new room on the 2nd floor so you can go visit him ", then Uncle Jesse and Cooter made their way down to elevator about few minutes later they arrived on the 2nd floor made their way into room 110 were suprized to see Luke wasn't their but a blown up dummy was.

While Jesse and Cooter were at the hospital Luke had woken up again. He was propped up in an old rickety bed. He moaned and looked around.
“Good Lord, my head hurts.” He moaned and slowly stood up and looked in a reflection of a mirror at himself, surprised to see bandages and scrapes all over his face and his right arm in a cast. “What happened?” he mumbled and slowly crept out of the room. As the door creaked open Cooper and George jumped up.
“Luke!?” they both gasped.
Luke looked around him, “Luke? Who’s Luke?” he asked
“Well boy you are. You’re Luke uh... your Luke James.” Cooper quickly said. “Don’t you even remember your own big brother Luke boy?” he sneered.
“Wait, you’re my brother?” Luke asked confused and sat down in a chair. “Wow. I don’t. I’m real sorry. What happened?” he mumbled.
“Oh. Yous was in a horrible car crash but your okay now. Your sisters will be here in a little while. Why don’t you go back into the bedroom and sleep a while. You’ve had a long week.” Cooper smiled and lead Luke back into the bedroom.
“Whatever you say brother.”
“Cooper. Cooper’s fine.” He said as he closed the door to the room and turned around to George. “Worked like a charm.” He smiled.

Bo was trying to work the cords loose on his hands but it wasn’t working too well. They’d taken his knife away so he couldn’t cut them either. He thought he heard someone’s voice in the other room but he couldn’t quite make it out. Daisy wasn’t having much luck either.

An hour passed and Beth showed up to watch everything while Cooper, Jimmy, George and Mary headed to the second location where they were going to move Luke, Daisy and Bo. Beth was getting board so she went outside and read a book. Luke turned over in bed and opened his eyes again and every muscle in his body ached. Slowly he got out of bed and walked into the room conjoining to his.
“Cooper?” he called hoarsly. “Cooper are you here?” and when he didn’t’ find him he shuffled to another door and opened it, but it was pitch dark inside. “Cooper?” he asked and flicked on the light. Well Cooper wasn’t in there but he saw two people tied up and blindfolded. He looked at them with a quizzical look on his face. He bent down and with his good arm started to undo the knot of Daisy’s gag. She spit it out and tried again to get her hands undone.
“Luke! Luke is that you?” she gasped.
He quickly stepped backwards, “um… yeah.” He said, “why are you tied up in my closet?” he mumbled.
“Luke! Untie Bo so we can get out of here.” She pleaded.
“Who’s Bo?”
Daisy just sat there for a moment, “Luke, you know your cousin Bo…” she said.
“I have a cousin?” he said.
“Yes, and I’m your-“ but she was cut off by a gunshot.
“Okay pretty girl. Unless you want your cousin to be shot to smithereens I suggest you stop talking to poor Luke here.” Beth sneered and redid her gag and lead Luke out of the closet. “Luke, you can’t talk to them. You see they are bad people. Very bad people.”
“Then why do we have them?” he asked, sitting down on the couch.
“Uh. Well, we are um. We’re holding onto them until the cops get here. Now save up your energy and don’t talk to them again! They’re trying to confuse you, saying that you have a cousin. You only have your brothers Cooper and Jimmy, I’m your sister Beth and your cousins George and Mary.” She smiled.
“Oh.” Luke said, and held onto his head, and drifted off to sleep on the couch.

Maria and Cooter drove out to where the General was and got out of his truck, walking around the General and Maria climbed up and slid through the window as Cooter went back to his truck and got a couple of tires to replace the shot out ones. Now Maria had learned quite a bit about electronic work from the boys and Cooter so while Cooter was fixing the tires Maria rehooked the wires and got everything ready to go. As soon as she had it fixed she grabbed the Mic to try it. "This is Pretty Rebel calling Deptuty Enos Strate! You got your ears on?" She asked, grinning a moment later when Enos' voice came over the radio. "This here's Enos Maria!! do you have the General ready to go yet?" He asked. Maria looked out the window at Cooter, who stood up and gave her the thumbs up. "Yep!!! We're ready and rarin' to go!!" She said. "You be careful!!" Cooter said as she started the engine. She nodded and waved as she put the car in gear.

"Enos!! Don't forget you're not to come in unless I give the signal!!" She said as she drove slowly to the hideout, praying that she got there before something bad happened to Bo, Luke and Daisy. "Now you be careful out there Maria!! We all know what these fella's are capable of!!" Jesse's voice said firmly over the radio. "Don't worry Uncle Jesse!!" Maria said as she turned the big orange car down the road to the hideout she'd found earlier and after parking a short distance away she climbed out and dropped to the ground, then leaned back in the window and grabbed the bow and arrows with dynamite that were in the backseat. She moved as close to the house as she dared get and placed an arrow on the bow and let it fly, watching as it flew through the air and hit a stand of trees, causing a loud explosion. She grinned watching as three men and two women ran out. "What's going on?" Cooper yelled, just as another arrow flew through the air and hit nearby.

Maria ran into the house already having another arrow ready. Rebecca Lynn jumped to her feet when the blond with the bow and arrow walked through the door. "Back off Sugar or this whole place is gonna go up in smoke including your friends outside!!" Maria threatened, just as Mary walked out of the bedroom holding Bo by the arm and keeping a gun pointed at his head. "Now you don't want me to hurt pretty boy here so just drop the bow and arrows and ain't nobody gonna get hurt!!" She sneered at Maria, who's blue eyes darkened angrily. Maria knew if she wanted any chance of getting the others back safely she had better work a good shuck and jive. "Oh don't shoot!!! I just faint when I see a gun!!" She moaned and pretended to slump to the floor, still holding the bow and arrow. Mary took the gun off Bo and knelt to check Maria, who's eyes snapped open as she brought the bow back up. "Drop it!!!" She demanded. Mary sighed and let go of the gun. Maria rolled back to her feet and went to Bo, cutting his cords with her knife.

Bo grabbed her hand. "They've brainwashed Luke!! Let's get Daisy and get out of here!!! We'll get Luke later!!!" He said, pulling her into the bedroom and closing the door. He quickly untied Daisy and the three climbed out the window and ran into the woods, back towards the General. "You realize we ain't gonna be able to outrun them in your jeep!!" Bo tossed back to Maria. She laughed. "I ain't driving the jeep!! I'm driving the General!!" She said. "But the General's...." Bo stopped when they came within sight of the big orange car. "Here!!" He finished as they all scrambled in and roared away from the hideout.

“Dangit!” Rebecca cursed as Cooper, Jimmy, and George came back into the house. “That girl took Bo and Daisy!” she growled. “I swear I’m going to ring her neck when-“
”Shut up!” Cooper snapped, “Now we have Luke. We’ll get them later. Let’s move to the second location. Get Luke and lets go!” he barked and Jimmy ran outside and started the car as Geroge and Cooper ran out back to grab another car they had stowed away. Mary, Beth, and Rebecca woke up Luke and told him to get into the car because they were going somewhere. Without knowing better he got in the back and Jimmy roared off down the road to another hideout they had staked out.
Rebecca, Beth, and Mary all jumped in with Cooper and Jimmy. “What are we going to do now? They known we’ve got him and no doubt bring in the law.” Mary wailed.
“Would you be quiet? Its fine, we’ll just have to change are plans a bit. Here, hand me the CB would you?” Cooper told George. “Mr. Hogg this is someone I think you might know. Cooper. We’ll listen up fat-boy and listen up good because I ain’t repeating myself.”
“What? Who’s this?” Boss called into the CB at the Boars Nest.
“This is Cooper Mr. Hogg, you know the one you hired to-“
“Hush up would you! Well what are you doing calling me?” he barked
“I think you know of a Luke Duke don’t you?”
“Yeah. I know the Dukes, what about him?”
“Well he’s right here and if I don’t get a million dollars in exactly six hours he’s going to be the late Luke Duke. You got that?”
“A MILLION DOLLARS!? But…”
“A million dollars, at 7pm sharp! You got it? I want you to hand deliver it to me on the corner of Old Willow and Harper road you got it? Come alone, and don’t think about brining any police involved into this or else Luke here is going to have a nice date with a few bullets up in his head. You got it?”
“But I…”
“Good. See you then Hogg.” Cooper laughed as he turned off the CB.

“Uncle Jesse! Did you hear that?!” Bo cried.
“Yeah, I did. Uh, well lets go talk to J.D. right now, meet us down at the courthouse.”
“But what about Luke?”
“Well they aren’t going to kill him now.” Uncle Jesse grimaced and took off towards town.

In town the General squealed to a halt in front of the Courthouse with Uncle Jesse's truck and Cooter's tow truck right behind. Bo slid out the driver's side window and helped Maria out as Daisy got out the other side and waited on the sidewalk as Jesse and Cooter joined them. "Are y'all okay?" Jesse asked, looking at his niece and youngest nephew. Bo nodded and wrapped an arm around Maria pulling her close. "We sure are!! Thanks to Maria!!" He said with a grin. kissing her gently on the cheek. Maria blushed at the attention. "It was nothing!!" She mumbled. Bo grinned. "You sure worked a good shuck an jive there!!" he said, making her redden even more. "I just learned from the best!!" She said sweetly, looking him in the eye. Bo reddened. "Let's get in there and talk to JD!!" Jesse said, marching to the door followed by the others.

Boss looked up as the door to his office opened up and Jesse Duke walked in followed by Bo, Maria, Daisy and Cooter. They all crowded around him, all of them talking at once. "Just hold it!!" He yelled, raising his hands in the air. Bo kept talking his face red with anger until Jesse's stern look silenced him. Bo stepped back with Maria, Daisy and Cooter as Jesse moved forward. "Okay JD!! What are you intending to do about this?" he asked.

Boss stood up and looked sheepishly at all of them. “What do you mean?”
“Boss don’t you try to act like you don’t know! We know that you know!” Bo fumed. “About Luke! You’re going to give them the million dollars!” he demanded.
“Now wait a minute. I didn’t plan any of this. Those double crossing-back stabbers gone and stole my money. I didn’t know they were the ones who’d hurt Luke. Honest! I was just going to have them bring me the money and then I’d get the insurance on it, but..”
“J.D how were they suppose to give you the money?” Jesse asked slowly, starting to put things together. “Was it in a suitcase?”
“Yes and they were going to bring it to me out at the old grits mill where…”
“It was your fault Luke almost died!” Bo yelled, “He must have gotten the wrong suitcase! Those goons almost killed him Boss! It’s your fault!”
“Now wait a minute! I didn’t tell them to take care of Luke! I couldn’t help he took the money.” Boss said sheepishly.
“Boss Hogg I’m going to-“ Bo started but was cut off by Jesse
“It doesn’t matter anymore. Luke isn’t dead, but JD if we don’t figure out a plan Luke will be dead.”


Luke was sitting in the back seat while Jimmy was driving and he looked at him.
“So you’re my brother Jimmy?” he asked.
Jimmy turned and looked at him, “Um. Yeah I’m Jimmy Porter and your Luke Porter.”
Luke sat and wondered, “but I thought I was Luke James. That’s what my brother Cooper said.”
Jimmy cursed under his breath. “Oh well um…” he stumbled. “Hey look we’re here. Welcome home Luke.” He quickly pulled the car to a stop behind an old abandoned house, at least over 100 years old. Luke stepped out of the car and was hustled by Jimmy inside.

Boss stared at Jesse and the others for a moment before nodding in agreement. "What do y'all have in mind?" He asked. Jesse looked at his youngest nephew. "I'm working on an idea but it's gonna take all of us with Rosco and Enos' help too!!" He said. Bo stared at his Uncle. "What's your plan Uncle Jesse?" He asked. Jesse smiled. "Bo I need you, Maria and Daisy to take the General and go out to the farm and collect all the arrow's with dynamite you can find and you girl's may wanna get your bows too." He said. Bo nodded. "We know them fella's are gonna come after y'all again so we're just gonna be ready for em!!" Jesse continued. Bo nodded and grabbed Maria's hand and pulled her out the door followed closely by Daisy.

Bo got behind the wheel of the General as Maria and Daisy got in the other side. They headed out to the farm to get what they needed for Jesse's plan to work so they could get Luke back safe and sound. "I sure hope Uncle Jesse's plan works!!" Bo said sadly. Maria gently squeezed his arm. "Don't worry Bo!! We're gonna take care of this!! All of us!!! Together!!" She said, glancing over at Daisy who smiled and squeezed her free hand. Bo nodded. "Thanks Darlin'!!" He said and leaned over kissing her quickly on the lips.

"Now JD. I wan't you to get that money and put it in a bag you got it?"
"But I don't have a million dollars..." he protested.
"Then put what ya got in there. You'll get your money back for goodness sakes." Jesse rolled his eyes.
"Enos I want you to send a message out into Capitol City and request that they send a few plain- clothed men pronto. Ya got that? But after that, can you go around in plain-clothes and try to find where they are keeping Luke? It's going to be somewhere abanonded no doubt. So try all the old mills, coffin works, cotton works, grits factory..everything. Me and Rosco will go look through the woods. Okay?"
"Yes sir Uncle Jesse sir." he smiled and ran off.
"Rosco, you come with me and I'll tell you what you need to do in the car. JD, get that money and have your driver drive you out to the farm. We'll all be waiting." he said and with Rosco in tote, left the courthouse.

At the farm, Bo, Daisy, and Maria had gotten all their bows and arrows and all the dynamit they could find.
"Shepeard calling Lost Sheep and Bo Peep, come in."
"Yeah, rigth here Shepeard."
"Me and uh.. Hound Dog here have found tire tracks that lead from hideout #1 and head south on Old Pilot Road. That leads only to the woods. So how about y'all take Dixie, Genearl, and Pretty Rebels car and scan the woods. Me and Hound Dog will take north. Lost Sheep, take south. Dixie take east and Pretty Rebel take west. Enos is coming on up later too."
"YEs sir Shepeard." Bo said and all three scattered out to their cars.
"This is Crazy C coming at y'all. What can I do?"
"Crazy C, you come and follow with teh rest of us. Just look throughout Old Hollow and Old Pilot and hollar if ya see anything." Bo said.
"I'll have my eyes peeled and my ears on, Crazy C over and out."

Meanwhile down in the woods, no one had any idea of what was going on. Luke was in a small room and it was pretty dark considering there was no lights. Mary, George, Cooper, Jimmy, Rebecca, and Beth were all out in the main room laughing ang talking. Luke sat down on an old cot and rubbed his head with his good arm. He looked down at his cast again and felt the stiches on his face. "What really happened?" he wondered and leaned against the wall and stared out the window.

Maria climbed behind the wheel of her jeep, stopping when she felt Bo's hand on her arm. "Be careful and if you find anything call for help and don't do anything till we get there!!" He said. Maria nodded and smiled. "Don't worry Bo!! I ain't gonna go rushing in there before help gets there!!" She said, leaning forward and kissing him on the lips before starting the engine. Bo squeezed her arm gently before releasing her and turning to go to the General. Maria smiled slightly knowing Bo really didn't want her going off by herself but she knew that in order to cover more ground they needed to do it that way. She waved at Daisy as she followed Bo out of the yard. They headed off to the woods and split up, each one going to a different section of the woods and parking their cars, leaving them facing the road in case they needed to escape in a hurry.

Maria grabbed the walkie talkie sitting on the seat and her bow and arrows with dynamite from the back as she stepped out. "This is Pretty Rebel to Lost Sheep and Bo Peep!! I'm headed into the woods now!!" She said. "You be careful Maria!!" Bo's voice came back to her. She smiled. "Don't worry Sugar!! I'm gonna radio you if I find anything and you better radio me an' Daisy if you find anything and not rush in there trying to be a hero and rescue Luke by yourself!!" She said, speaking gently but firmly. "That's right Bo!! Uncle Jesse would be furious if he found out that you tried something like that so don't even consider it!!" Daisy's voice came through to them. Bo sighed. "Don't worry if i find anything I'll call y'all!! Just please be careful!!

Bo anxiously crept through the woods, jumping at the sound of anything. He reached a small creek that flowed through most of the woods and he headed north on the bank.
Daisy had droven out and headed in west, but she didn't find much because a forest fire a few years back had basically burnt most of the trees, and now they were all dead.
Maria moved in deeper into the woods and came to an open valley. She could lightly detect the sent of smoke. "Lost Sheep? Bo Peep? Any of y'all out there?" but she got no answer. "Lost Sheep, Bo Peep come in y'all. I think I smell smoke!" she called and still no answer. "Darnit, I must be out of range." she whispered. She started to return to the cars, but then what if Luke was out there? So she decided to keep on going.
"This is Bo Peep calling Lost Sheep."
"Yup, Lost Sheep here." Bo said.
"I think I'm going to head back. THere isn't anything but dead trees here. No place for them to hide Luke." she said.
"Okay, head back to the car. We'll meet you there okay Pretty Rebel?" Bo called into the walkie talkie, but no one answered. "Pretty Rebel are you there?" he called again.
"Don't worry Bo. I"m sure she's just out of range. Let's head back towards the road. Maybe she's up there." Daisy said.

But back in the hideout, George had over heard that they were closing in. "Dangit! They're going to find us for suer." he growled.
"Wait. I think i've got an idea. Didn't that pretty lady say there was nothing but dead trees where she was?" Cooper said
"Yeah," Jimmy said.
"Well there was that big patch of dead trees when we came in. I bet she's out there. I've got an idea how to take care of her and her cousin." Cooper smiled evily. "come on George." he snapped and the two flew off i their car.

Now sweet Daisy was walking back the way she came when she heard a thunderous roar. "Bo is it going to rain?"
"No... " he said.
"Then how come I..." she stopped as she smelt smoke. "Bo, I smell smoke." she said nervously.
"smoke? BUt..." he started but stopped realizing that that part of the woods would light up faster then sweet Daisy could get out. " Daisy! I think it's on fire. Get out of their now!!" he ordered.
Daisy's heart skipped a beat and she turned around and could see smoke rising from the south end of the woods where she was. She quickly took off running back towards the car.

Maria had slid down a hill and the smell of smoke was even more dominant. She slowly walked around a small hill and sure enough there was an old shack with lights barely glowing inside. Her heart skipped a beat and she smiled but remembered Bo had told her not to do anything. So she took off running the way she had come.

But neither Maria, Daisy, nor Bo had known that George and Cooper and lit matches and were dropping them out the window as they stopped in the dead-treed area. They’d be lucky if all of them got out of that woods without their tail ends getting scorched.

Maria started to cough as she pulled the walkie talkie up again. "Pretty Rebel to Lost Sheep and Bo Peep come in please!!" She begged, coughing between words. She was struggling to breath as she kept moving forward. "Maria, this here's Bo!! Where you at Sugar?" She heard his voice finally come over the Cb though it sounded raspy. She looked around her, feeling fear race through her body as smoke closed in around her, making the area almost unrecognizable. "I...I don't know Bo!! There's so much smoke!!" She cried, as she kept walking forward. She cried out suddenly as she ran into something knocking herself down. "Maria is that you?" Daisy's voice asked, sounding relieved. Maria got to her hands and knees and then stood up. "Yeah Daisy it's me!!" She said, going to her friends side, not really understanding how they'd found each other, other then the fact that the smoke from the fire had gotten them turned Around and headed towards each other.

"Maria are you okay?" Bo's voice came over the radio. Maria grabbed the walkie talkie. "Don't worry Bo!! I'm fine!! I just found Daisy!!" She said. "You two try to make it to Dixie and I'm gonna try to make it to the General!! Don't get seperated!!" He said. Daisy and Maria exchanged glances and agreed. "Don't worry Bo!!" Maria said and linked arms with Daisy as they made their way to what they hoped was the edge of the woods.

Bo took off towards where he'd left the General, hoping the girls got out not really wanting to drive the General through the fire to get them out but already intending to if they didn't get out.

Daisy grasped Maria's hand and dropped to the ground. COughting, the two girls crawled on.
BO was on the otehr side of the fire watching as the flames aate away at teh woods. He had to fight every urge within him not to head into the fire and try to find the girls. But he knew taht he'd never find them now, so he kept on going towards teh road. When he got tehre he was suprised to see uncle Jesse and Rosco.
"Where are the girls?"
"They're in there. Together, I talked to them not but ten minutes ago." Bo said nervously.
"We called the fire department, they're on their way."
"I need to find them. They'll never get out in time!" Bo grimnaced and ran into the firey woods.
"Bo! don't!" jesse yelled, but Bo was already gone.

Back at the hideout the gang was packing up. Poor Luke was even more confused now, wondering why everyone was running around and yelling and throwing things into teh cars. He wondered outside and saw the smoke get closer. He walked closer towards the woods.
"Luke! get in the car!" George yelled but Luke kept on walking. "LUKE!" he yelled and ran after him and grabbed his arm. "Get in the car stupid!" he yelled and pushed him towards the car. Luke looked at him sceptically and stumbled towards the car. George pushed him into the backseat and tore off. "dangit. This is going to change our plans." Cooper cursed and flew out of sight of the small farmhouse they'd been hiding in. Luke looked back over his shoulder and that was the last thing he saw, as he drifted into a light sleep.

Marie and Daisy was trying to make it out of the fire to Dixie but unfortunetly everytime they would try some more smoke would come their way they would get more lost and more worried about Luke ",

Daisy was trying to calm Marie down " Honey don't " Cough" worry were gonna get out of this fire i " Cough" Luke is o..kay ", then Marie said " Daisy do you think those bad dudes that hurt Luke a..re to "Cough" blame for this fire to keep up us from finding Luke ?", Daisy said " I bet th..ey are honey ", suddenly they came upon a clearing made it out to Dixie .

Balladeer : Their goes plan a i sure hope Bo can think of something better or else Luke is never gonna get home.

Bo was trying to find the girls he found them by a pile of dead trees he held out his hand for Marie to grab only she couldn't see him because of the all the smoke so he said " Marie it's me Bo grab hold of my hand okay ?", then Marie coughing said " O..kay Bo ", so she grabbed onto Bo's hand he hurried her over to the General and then he said " The fire truck is on it's way darlin' so stay here okay i'm gonna go back in to get Daisy ", so Bo went back in and as the hours went on the fire grew Daisy was laying down on the pile of leaves due to the fact that one of the brances trapped her legs luckily 15 minutes later Bo happend to come across she said " Bo i need help my legs are caught on this branch ", So Bo said " Okay Daisy i'll lift it off then we have to hurry out of here before this fire get's too big ", so Bo lifted the branch off then they ran out to the General and Daisy climbed into the passenger seat and Marie got into the back they left to meet up with Rosco and Uncle Jesse not realizing that Luke was already out of the fire not trapped in their which is Bo's biggest worry.

But meanwhile out on the road the firetruck had shown up Bo said ' the Fire has become huge Y'all have to put it out quick then go in and get my Cousin Luke who is trapped inside the buliding Unconicous ", then one of the firemen thanked him made their way on over to the fire they had trouble getting it out since it had become an inferno ", but they had finally gotten it out one of the them made the way into the building to see if they could find Luke but nothing was their to be found since them bad dudes had left took Luke with them ", so Unfortunetly the firemen had to report to the Dukes that Luke was nowhere to be found.

Daisy looked frantically at Bo, “do you think he got stuck in the fire and-“ she gulped. Bo looked over at Daisy, “I-I don’t think so.” He said looking unsure himself. “I don’t think Luke’s out there. I saw a small farmhouse down about 15 minutes from here and there was faint lights coming out from the windows. I don’t think nobody lives there. It must’ve been the people holding Luke.” Maria quickly sputtered.
“Do you think they took Luke with him?” Rosco asked
”Of course Rosco. They’re holding him for ransom!” Bo cried.
“Oh-well-you…” he squinted.
“Y’all we’ve got to find out where they’re hiding Luke.” Maria said,
“Now wait a minute. You three have been in that smoke for a long time and-“ Uncle Jesse started.
“Sorry Jesse, but I’m going to go and help find Luke no matter what you say.” Maria protested and looked over at Bo, his face streaked with soot and grime.
“Then I guess we’ll all take separate cars and start looking.” Jesse sighed as Daisy got into Dixie, Bo and Maria in the General and Jesse in his pickup. “Maria, take the wheel I’m going to sit on the hood and see if I can find any tire tracks.” Bo said.

“Luke honey. Wake up.” Beth coaxed him, “We’re here.” She smiled and shook his shoulder a bit. Luke looked up at her and slowly lifted his head. “Where is here?” he asked.
”Why home of course silly.” She smiled and helped him out of the car.
“Our homes at a grits factory?” he looked skeptical at her.
”Luke, now our daddy worked hard- all the way to his death bed to give us a nice home. It might not look like much, but it was homey at one point. Now is that all ya got to say?”
”Shucks Beth, I’m sorry. I don’t remember any of this.” Luke rubbed his head and the two walked in through the back door.
“Luke honey, now I’ll be right back. Don’t go no where’s ya hear?” and she went back outside to the car.

“Sister number two here, I’ve got brother two here with me. Y’all copy?” Beth said.
“We got ya sister two. We’re on our way.” Cooper called back.

”Boss Hogg. I hope you’re listening, because I’m only going to say this once. We need that money and we need it now! I want it delivered in one-hour ya hear? Down on the corner of Old Willow and Harper road you got that? Not one minute past the hour!”
Maria frantically grabbed the CB, “Where’s Luke? Is he alright? Put him on!” she hollered.
“Sorry little lady. Can’t do.” Cooper sneered.
”Dangit. They got out.” He thought for a minute. “they’re going to be in that orange clunker. Jimmy and George, take the other car and go take care of Bo and that chick, now!” he barked and Jimmy and George jumped into the other car which was waiting at the old girt’s mill in the shrubs.

Bo was sitting on the hood with a flashlight in hand, “I can’t find no tire tracks Maria. Let’s check the south side. We’ve still got some time. Call uncle Jesse.”
”Pretty rebel calling Shepard, me and Lost Sheep #1 are heading to the south part. Over and out.”

Maria sighed as she drove the General along the dirt road slowly so Bo could see any tire tracks. It wasn't long before she heard a sigh from him and he motioned for her to stop and then jumped off the hood and walked around to the driver's side. "We'll try again tomorrow! Let's go home and get some sleep!" He said, as she moved over so he could get in behind the wheel. She nodded. "I'm sorry we haven't found anything yet Bo!!" She said softly. Bo looked over at her in surprise. "It ain't your fault Sugar and we ain't giving up till we get Luke back!" He said and headed for home with a heavy heart.

Maria sighed and rested her head against his shoulder and was almost asleep when bright lights appreared behind them and then they were jolted hard as someone struck them from behind. Bo clenched his teeth as he fought for control of the car, knowing that if they went off the road they were gonna be in trouble and he didn't want anything to happen to Maria.

Maria turned and reached into the back for her bow and arrows that she had put there as soon as she'd gotten in. She leaned out her window and took careful aim behind them and released an arrow. She watched as the car swerved off the road and went into the bushes. Bo smiled at her. "Nice aim for it being so dark!" He commmented. She nodded and crawled back through the window, releasing a sigh.

“Dangit Jimmy!” George barked at him as he slammed his hand on the dashboard. “Cooper’s going to skin your hide when he finds out you let them go.”
”Ah George, it ain’t my fault.” He guiltly looked over at him and tried to get the car to back up, but it wouldn’t budge. It was sunk deep in a muddy ditch. “Best call Cooper.” He sighed and called Cooper over the CB.
Once Cooper got to the place where they’d wrecked he gritted his teeth. “We only have half-hour until the fat man is brining us the money. We’ll be fine, because I don’t think they have any idea where we are. So let’s just lay low, you got that?”
“Yes sir.” Jimmy nodded as George elbowed him.

“Jesse Duke! Jesse Duke come in!” Boss called over the hazzardnet to uncle Jesse.
“What is it JD?”
“They just called again, them guys who want my million dollars!!” he cried.
“What’d they say JD?”
”They want the money in thirty minutes or else Luke is…”
“In thirty minutes?! Well we’ll be right there. You just sit tight. Lost Sheep, Pretty Rebel, Bo Peep…y’all got your ears on?”
”Yes Uncle Jesse, we’re here.” Bo and Daisy called back, “and I’ve got Pretty rebel with me too.”
“Them guys who have Luke want the money in a half hour, so y’all get over to the courthourse and we’ll talk about what we need to do you got that?”
“Yes sir.” Bo said and turned the car around and headed for the courthouse, along with Daisy.

Luke walked inside the grits mill and looked around. Everyone had gotten up and left, except from Beth who was outside by her car. He wandered through old wooden parts that had gathered cobwebs over the years.
“Hey Luke. How ya feeling?” Beth asked as she came up behind him.
“Um. We’ll I guess I feel fine.” He said.
“Oh. Good, well I-“ she looked to the ground, “I’m real sorry about this, but Cooper told me to do this…” she sighed and revealed ropes and a gag.
”Wait, what do you need that stuff for?” Luke asked, stepping back a pace.
“It’s what Cooper wants, and if you don’t cooperate he’s going to be real mad, please just.”
”Beth. No, really why does he want to do this. I’ve felt funny ever since y’all brought me home the other day. What’s really going…”
”Luke dangit would you just hush up!” she yelled and without thinking shoved him backwards, sending Luke falling to the ground. “Oh my gosh. Luke!” she gasped and knelt down and picked up his head. “Oh my gosh!” she gasped and ran outside to her car.
”Coop, get home now!!” she cried.

So as Cooper was making his way back over to the hideout to find out what went wrong with Luke he is hoping that it ain't something that will mess up the whole plan since everything is going so great now ",

Meanwhile over at the courthouse Bo , Daisy, Uncle Jesse, and Boss was thinking of a way to get the money their in half an hour not a minute late so they brainstormed for about 15 minutes until Uncle Jesse said " Bo you will be the Decoy while JD is gonna give them bad people their money but um be careful Bo cause i don't want nothing happening to Luke ", Then Bo said " Don't worry Uncle Jesse i'm gonna make sure they don't hurt him",
Y'all is probably wondering what Daisy and Uncle Jesse are gonna do well they are gonna stake out the Courthouse incase them two bad dudes call.

So as that was going on Luke was lying down he ain't moving due to the fact that he hit his head once again he is unconsicous and unfortunetly friends this may complicate the plan some since Luke ain't breathing due to the fact that when he fell he had the gag in so he is really in a pickle.

Cooper and Jimmy and the two girls that were helping him wasn't aware of what happen to poor old Luke. Rebecca Lynn had walked in the house where they had him and had seen what happened she had went to fix it. she didn't want anything to happen to him she felt bad enough for Luke alreadry she really did used to live Hazzerd but Bo and Luke didn't remember her. But she had remembered them, she even remembered their Uncle Jesse as well too bad they didn't know who she was. Rebecca was tired of what her partners that had tricked her into helping them with their plot, she had untied Luke and woke him up and she had made sure they got into her car. But where would she go, then she thought right infront of city hall.
So Rebecca and Luke was going to the Hazzerd Square and she started up her car and took off, before Cooper and Jimmy knew she was gone.

About 15 minutes later she was pulling into the Hazzard county courthouse
she looked over at Luke she said " Well c'mon let's go inside maybe someone can help us get to the bottom of this mess ", even though Luke was not at all aware of what is going on he did want some answers so he made his way into the courthouse still confused didn't really know where he was and who he was for that matter also which is a total shame.

Balladeer : and Unfortunetly the rest of the Dukes ain't come close to finding a clue as to Luke's whereabouts but they better find something soon or they are gonna be in heartache city.

So O'l Bo and Marie was driving around looking for clues tire tracks , footprints , anything that would lead them to Luke suddenly Bo heard a pop he looked so that the General had gotton a flat Bo said " Oh Dangit General now we ain't never gonna find out where Luke is at now ", Marie said " honey were gonna get this tire fixed then we will search more ", Bo said " I sure hope we find him before them bad dudes do cause i know they threatend to hurt Luke if they don't get their money in half an hour.

Speaking of Luke he was walking around the inside of the courthouse but nothing seemed to spark a memory of any kind so he said " Rebecca why in the world did you bring me here ?", then she said " So you can be safe they won't hurt you more then you are and also to see if you can remember anything your memory will be coming back soon since your Amnesia is all part of a drug that Beth gave you when they kidnapped you

“Rebecca!” Cooper yelled out the door. “Where’s Rebecca and Luke?” he barked.
“She was here a few minutes ago…” jimmy said.
“Dangit, that dumb girl must have taken him and left. Come on. She couldn’t have gone far.” Cooper yelled and George and Beth took one car and Mary and Cooper took another. “You go towards the Dukes place. We’ll head for town.” He yelled and sped off towards town.

Luke glanced over at Rebecca and skeptically looked at her. “huh?”
“You don’t understand yet but you will soon.” Rebecca smiled softly. “Now I’m going to-“
“Luke! Why, where have you been? Everyone’s looking for you!” Enos gasped as he came into the courthouse.
“Huh? Who are you?” Luke asked as he spun around to face the deputy.
“Aw Luke. Come on don’t be playing games now. Everyone’s looking for you, that wasn’t a funny joke to be playing on everyone like that. You scared poor Daisy to tears.” He frowned.
“Who’s Daisy?” Luke asked and looked over at Rebecca.
“Well she’s-“ Rebecca started but was cut short by a gun shot.
“Well Rebecca, looks like we’ve found you. Now come on sweetie, let’s get Luke here and lets go.” Cooper sneered, holding a gun to Luke’s head.”
“Now mister, that ain’t no way to talk to a lady-“ Enos interrupted.
