Is this the real deal? Why are they selling it? What's going on? I am so confused...

Just look at what the bid is now ,currently at $10,100, hasn't even met it's reserve yet..
Should be interesting to see what it sells for......
I'm gone

I think that's why they are doing the eBay sale. To see how much it would go for. Why would they sell LEE #1 after finding it only 3 years ago? I think it's to appraise the ultimate Dukes of Hazzard collector's item. Just my guess though and I'm know to be wrong...

The current owners aren't the people who found it. The problem with owning such a car is that you take a major financial hit when you buy it, and all you can ever do with it is drag it around to shows so that people can see it. As cool as it is, it's still a burden on the owner.

Ol' General looks good for his age. If the car was still on sale, I'd buy it, and save to death to repair it! Wonder who owns it now. I'd give my left nut for it!

Burden or not, I'd love to have that car. Maybe I should take a trip to LA and dig up some of the Generals burried in the river they always jumped.

They found it in Georgia. The car is currently being restored by it's current owner. It will make its debut fully restored in November in Georgia.
i have a friend here in texas that has a 1968 charger, i dont know what model it is R/T, or what but it is complete no dents and no rust that you can see. it does have a vinal top (which i dont carefor) but it is in great shape! the sad part is that he wont sell it and he wont do any thing to get it running :( ! maybe some day i can get him to sell it to me!!!!
