I haven't heard "Cab of My Truck", but I love Dierks Bentley and I really like "Lot of leavin' left to do". Of course I really started liking him with his first single release "What was I Thinkin'".
I love how there are specific references to DOH in a few country songs recently - and this was before anything happened with the movie (another one is Mark Wills' "1980 Something" (I think that's the title).

I was checking out Dierks Bentley's website and I found this, thought it was cool and I had to share it...
"Perhaps the first stirrings that something really cool might be up came in the form of Waylon Jennings singing the theme from The Dukes of Hazzard..."
The bio goes on to say that he played rock for a while, but was frustrated with it.

Here's the lyrics...
Artist: Dierks Bentley
Album: Modern Day Drifter
Title: Cab Of My Truck
Cracked windshield
Crumpled up cans and a beat up bag of red man chew
Fix a flat, jonny cash box set
Half a dozen parking ickets that I aint paid yet
Litten on that long bed seat
I got my shot gun girl right next to me
[CHORUS:]
Four wheel turnin
Two hearts burnin
We go runnin wild
Gonna make a million
Memories for every hundred
Thousand miles
Learnin everything I'll ever need
To know about life and love
In the cab of my truck
Sliden rear
Back window
So it's an easy reach to where my cooler keeps em iced down cold
Roll of duck tape, W D 40
Ain't nothin too loose or licked too tight for a man like me
Yeah, I might take it slow
30 through town
On a back dirt road
Girl I put the hammer down
[CHORUS]
Down by the river, two bodies in the glow of the radio dial
Gonna make a million memories for every hundred thousand miles
I'm learnin everything we'll ever need to know about life and love
In the cab of my truck
In the cab of my truck
Man I can't find anything in this truck
Oh, what's this? a little white tank top
Get out of my way Cadilac, big white's comin through

I think a lot of us know "A lot of leavin' left to do" because John Schnieder picked it as his favorite video on CMT Stacked. That's where we heard it anyway. It is a fun song, but be haven't heard the other one.

i loveee dierks bentley!<333 he is my favorite singer ever. i remember the one interview they did with him on cmt and it was around dukesfest and they asked him if he liked dukes of hazzard and he said yes. which is really cool. i'd have to say what was i thinkin is my favorite song. its so awesome and the hood slidin like bo duke part makes it even better. i seriouslly have every song from every cd he has out downloaded. hes amazing. oh and on the poll thats a really tough choice. i love both of those songs. i don't think i could choose between those two.
