What was the biggest jump the General ever made on the show? Does anyone know?

The longest jump was over the river, it was used in several episodes throught the seasons and the first reunion movie. I believe it was first seen in "Double Sting". I'm not sure how long it was, but I believe it was a world record (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!).

you are correct lost sheep - that was the biggest SUCCESFUL jump the general made (that is what i have been told on numerous occasions so i assume it is true)

the longest jump was not shown in any episodes because the stuntman accidentally injured an actor so was never used, but can be seen in 2 fast 2 furious

i have been informed that it was when uncle jesse was driving and a bridge over a river was opening and he floored it and the general flew over the bridge and the sail boat and landed on the other side

unfortunatly, i have been told that part of the ramp broke off and knocked the actor on the boat unconsious

could someone tell me if this is true or not - i have only heard this from a friend's cousin who worked with the stunt co-ordinator on 2F2F (the guy who did the stunts for DOH)

It's a reference to the scene where Paul Walker jumps one of his rice burners onto the back of a boat. Cool jump...bad movie.

Sorry... I only saw the movie once and tried to burn the memory from my brain. You're right. It was a Camaro. Sorry.

hey - it was a pretty good movie - not as good as the first (mainly cos of the lack of charger) but still pretty good on the whole

and the Camero was pretty sweet as well - but i like all old school muscle cars, not just Chargers
