A Hazzardous Secret

Tonight on the Dukes : Two Bad Men who work for Hughie Hogg come back to Hazzard to make the dukeboys pay for getting Hughie in trouble.

It was a Crisp Friday Morning in Hazzard not a cloud in the sky but unfortunetly trouble was lurking in the shadows you see them two shady people on the side of the road well they are out to get the Dukeboys the man his name is Barkclay , other man is named Roy so they is gonna pretend to have car problems so Bo and Luke will stop then they can put their first part of the plan in action .

So Then Barkclay tell's his partner " Quick get that engine wire yanked they'll be here any minute so then he goes over pulls it and meanwhile the boys is on their way to the Boars Nest to have a beer but unfortunetly they plans are fixing to change ", Luke is driving along until he spots a car on the side of the road he says " What seems to be the problem mister",
Then Barkclay said " Well she quit running boys ", then Bo said " Well we do a little shadetree work we can look at it for y'all ", so then Bo and Luke walk over to the car while Roy is putting a can of Knockout gas in the back of the General which is gonna knock the boys out colder then dead samon's ."

Meanwhile Bo noticed the problem he said " your engine wire came off that's all", so then Luke put it back on he said " you can be on your way now ", then Barkclay said " we appricate it boys we'll see ya soon ", Then O'l Bo and Luke got back into the General Luke was driving while Bo for some reason was feeling sleepy so he said " I'm gonna take me a snooze Luke wake me up when we get to the Boars Nest ", So Meanwhile Luke was starting to get sleepy himself and almost fell asleep behind the wheel and his eyes started closing but he fighted it off he went on driving when all off a sudden a deer came out into the middle of the road Luke couldn't spot it in time cause his vision was fuzzy unfortunetly Luke fell asleep the General lost control ran off the road into a telephone poll which then crashed on the General's hood the boys was Knocked out colder then dead samon .

Well friends unfortunetly O'l Bo and Luke is sure in a mess they is out cold
they is about to be taken for a ride unfortunetly they ain't gonna have the slightest clue as to what danger is about to come their way with Luke hanging over the steering wheel asleep , Bo passed out in the passenger seat these boys is having one heck of a morning. Meanwhile out on the highway them baddies was fixing to pick up the boys Barkclay said Well i bet them boys is counting sheep right about now let's go em' " Then Roy said " Well uh you don't think they'll wake up and see us do ya ?" Barkclay laughed " Roy that stuff is pretty strong it would have to be a miracle for them boys to be awake when we get them ", just about that time them baddies was pulling up right next to General Lee

when they saw the boys asleep they was happy as two clams so then came the hard part getting boys in their car which ain't exactly gonna be easy ", So Barkclay said " let's get Bo here first then will come back for Luke ", So he bent down picked Bo up who was about as lifeless as a rag doll you couldn't hear a peep out of him since was out colder then a dead samon Then Barkclay was sitting Bo down then he let Bo be and Bo flopped around a second in his sleep until he got comfortable .

Meanwhile over at the General Luke was still out cold as a dead Samon them bad dudes said " Well i hope we don't have any trouble getting him out since he is in the driver's seat ", So then they made their way over to the General Lee to get Luke they bent down he pushed Luke's head back he unfortunetly made Luke hit his head on the rollbar Luke only made a moan but he didn't stir he was as lifeless as a ragdoll he had difficulty getting Luke out since he was in the driver's seat Barkclay was getting pretty frustrated but he finally got him out he carried Luke over to the car he sat Luke down in backseat Luke was just light as feather layed right down Luke always was the deep sleeper but Bo was unfortunetly a restless sleeper he accidently hit Luke in the chest which made him cough then then bad guys got into the driver's seat took off where too was yet to be seen .

Balladeer : This Don't look good friends what with the boys in a comatosed sleep i don't see no way on how they can get out of this one

Meanwhile back in the Boar's Nest a tall pretty brunette young woman named Daisy Duke was waiting tables when the lights suddenly flickered and then went out casting the whole place into an eerie darkness. People screamed and got up stumbling to the door, running into tables, chairs, and each other.

Daisy was startled when she saw the lights go out. There was no storm and the night was clear, stars in the sky and the air was fairly warm. "Daisy." She heard a worried female voice cry out from the doorway and turned trying to make out who it was and recognized her best friend and Bo's girlfriend Callie Carpenter.

Callie walked in carefully avoiding the upset tables and chairs and the patrons that were still trying to make their way out. Daisy joined her friend at the bar. "What's wrong Callie?" She asked. Callie leaned against the bar and looked around. "Have you seen Bo?" She asked. Daisy was surprised. "No, I ain't darlin', why?" She asked.

"I've been trying to raise Bo on the CB for the past hour or so and he ain't respondin', I was out to the farm and Uncle Jesse said they left hours ago, I think somethin' may be wrong." She said. Daisy looked around quickly and steered Callie over to the door and out to her jeep where they could talk in private. "Are you saying you think they's missing?" She asked. "I dunno, I just know Bo ain't respondin and if he's in the area he always responds." She said.

Daisy rested a hand on Callie's shoulder. "Well since the lights are out, why don't you and I go an' see if we can find em." She said. Callie nodded and took the jeep keys that Daisy handed her and then swung herself behind the wheel as Daisy got in the passenger side.

Balladeer: Well them boys is in trouble, since they's still unconcious and Daisy an Callie not knowing where they are or what happened to em...don't go away ya hear.

Unfortunetly friends Hazzard is all dark and errie looking on accont O'l Luke smashed into a Telephone Poll when he fell unconicous due to that knockout gas that was in the backseat of the General Lee and nobody has seen no hide or hire of Bo or Luke which was pretty dane seldom in Hazzard to not see the boys around.

Meanwhile Daisy , Callie was on the lookout for them having a hard time to it on accont of the fact that it was pitch black out the only thing that was making them able to see was the moonlight so far they ain't found a clue poor Daisy was getting very concerned and worried for what happend to her Cousin's since they was supposed to meet her at the Boars Nest so she turned to her friend Callie and said " I'm getting awful worried about them boys i sure hope nothin' bad has happend to um we have to find a clue Callie ".

So Meanwhile Bo and Luke was still knocked out cold with the power being out like it is their ain't no way in tellin' when them boys will be found considering they is kinda not in the position to tell where they is for that matter also sadly friends things don't look too good for them boys .

Anyway one of them baddies took a look in the backseat saw that the boys was still asleep they said '" They is still out cold they ain't gonna be waking up for a good long time ", what with the power out our plan will work without a hitch .

Meanwhile out on the road still Daisy was driving right along the road the boys was on when them bad dudes picked them up she saw something that scared out of her wits " OH MY LORD The General hit a Telephone poll i sure hope them boys ain't trapped inside ", so she looked inside so no sign of the boys said " Well that is good now i don't have to worry about them but it ain't like them to leave the General here all by it's lonesome ", Then she turned to her friend said " Where Could the be Callie i'm worried what if they got into a car accident ".

Balladeer : Oh Lordy friends if Bo and Luke make out of this one it will be a true miracle.

CUE ANYONE

Callie walked over and stood next to Daisy and stared at the car for a moment. "I'm gonna call Cooter and see if he can tow the General to the garage and fix em tomorrow, and maybe he's even seen Bo n' Luke." She said. Daisy nodded and continued to stare at the wrecked car, her eyes full of fear and tears starting to run down her cheeks.

Callie reached across the seat and grabbed the CB mic. "Cooter y'all out there?" She asked. "Crazy Cooter comin' at ya." He said. "Cooter this here is Callie, Daisy and I came across the General out here on Cottonwood and it appears they done hit a telephone pole and we need a tow." She said. "On my way, Miss Callie." He said. "Cooter have you seen em?" She cried.

"I ain't seen Bo n' Luke since this mornin, but it ain't like em to leave the General, like that, I'll be there soon." He said. "Thanks Cooter." She said, though Cooter noticed the distress in her voice as he said goodbye to her.

Callie turned away from Dixie and walked back to Daisy, placing a gentle hand on her friends shoulder as they stood and stared at the wrecked car, tears in both their eyes.


Meanwhile them baddies decided it was time to radio their Boss and let him know that they had gotten the Duke boys just like they'd been told. While Roy kept an eye on the sleeping Duke's Barkclay radioed the Boss. "Hey Boss everything went off without a hitch we got em." He said with a nasty grin on his face.

"Well good, you better make sure things stay that way." The voice said. "Don't worry Boss, they's out cold." Barkclay said and flashed a grin at his partner. "What do you want us to do with em now?" He asked. You go to that old deserted cabin in Hazzard Swamp and tie em up, and keep em knocked out till I get there." He said. "Sure will Boss, over an out." Barkclay said.

Balladeer: Things ain't good at all, cause I don't know bout y'all but I recognize that voice as Hughie Hogg, Boss Hogg's conniving nephew, which means the boys are in a speck o' trouble with no way out. Don't go nowhere.

So Unfortunetly friends things ain't good for Bo and Luke cause Hughie has some very devilous plans to get back at the boys.

Anyway Hughie's baddies was making their way to the Hazzard Swamp with the sleeping Dukeboys in the backseat having no idea that they is in deep trouble no way of knowing about it at all ", So they arrive at the swamp they park the car then Barkclay says " Well we is here now let's just hope that them boys stay asleep cause Hughie don't want them waking up ", so then they go around the car open up the backseat slowly haul the boys out Luke moans some but he don't wake up and Bo is restless as ever he flops around like a ragdoll until he finally settles down.

So then they carry the boys into the cabin set them in a corner far away from the door so no one can see them then tie them up Luke coughs some because of the gas Barkclay moves him around some so he can get the ropes on him ,and the gag in his mouth meanwhile roy is doing the same thing to Bo" , Then say " Well them boys is in a deep slumber sweet dreams boys ".

Then Hughie shows up he says " Well them boys ain't doing so hot", Then he laughs then one of the men say " Hughie your plan worked like a charm they is both out cold nobody knows where they is ", Then Hughie says " Well with the power out nobody can find them i bet right about now Uncle Boss is happy as calm cause Bo and Luke is finally out is hair ", One of the men say " Hughie what if them boys wake up notice us they is sneaky "?then Hughie walks over to his car pulls out a needle he says " We can always use these trust me Bo and Luke ain't gonna know what hit um.

Meanwhile inside the Cabin O'l Bo and Luke is sleeping like little Angles they don't have a care in the world unfortunetly they may not wake up O'l Hughie may have finally beated Bo and Luke for once in his life sadly the boys is not doing so hot with power out in Hazzard things are only made worse .

Balladeer : OH NO i tell you friends this is a bad day for the Dukeboys.

Back on Cottonwood road Cooter had just arrived to tow the General and found two worried and frightened looking young women standing next to Dixe, looking lost and alone. He got out of his truck and walked over to them. "Why don't y'all go home and let Uncle Jesse know what happened and I'll take the General into town." He said.

Callie stared at him as though she realized he was there for the first time. "I gotta help you fix the General, I'm gonna need em." She said. Cooter shook his head and led her over to Dixie. "There ain't nothin' we can do with him until the power comes back on, so you an Daisy go back to the farm an' let Uncle Jesse know them boy's is missing and that you's two is okay." He said.

Callie nodded and looked away for a moment as Daisy climbed in and started the engine. Cooter watched the two girl's disappear down the road and then turned back to the General. "Where are you fella's?" He mumbled to himself.


When Daisy and Callie reached the farm they both jumped out and ran to the door, pulling it open and pratically falling through. Jesse Duke stood up from the table and stared at them. "What's goin' on?" He said. "Oh Uncle Jesse Bo an' Luke wrecked an they ain't nowhere to be found, Cooter's towing the General in and he ain't seen em." Daisy sobbed. Jesse looked at Callie who looked like she'd rather be anywhere but in the house.

"Sit down both of ya and eat." He said. Callie shook her head and backed away towards the door. "Sit!!" Jesse said sternly and the startled girl quickly sat and stared at the plate he set in front of her.


Back in the swamp the boys were still snoozing, unaware that they was in big trouble and they didn't even have no car.

Balladeer: Will anyone ever find them boys?

So Friends Luke and Bo is still snoozing away without any clue that they is facing a Health Hazard ", So anyway them baddies and Hughie came into the Cabin to show Hughie the boys and Hughie walked over to Bo and Luke who is laying out cold on a bed he said " Well them boys is sleeping really good they is out colder then dead samon's ", So then they walk over to a corner to talk about how they is planning to get rid of the other Dukes
Hughie says " Well Boys our plan is working really nice but now we have to figure out a way on how to get rid of them other Dukes.

I just thought of a good way to get Jesse Duke by putting moonshine in his truck then they laugh out loud waking up the boys their eyes start to flutter one of them decides to check on the boys so he walks over to check on the boys he sees that their eyes are starting to flutter he tries to hold them down so they won't struggle and wake up then they inject them with a needle filled with a heavy narcotic drug then the let go of the boys see that they is asleep again and say " that was close but they is out cold again then laugh at thought that their plan is going this easy".

Then they walk over to Hughie say " Well Boss their lights are out again they ain't lookin' so hot but they ain't gonna have a clue as to what happened if they wake up ", then Hughie says " Of course we have to get Daisy which of course will be easy cause she'll hear that Uncle Jesse was arrested for Moonshine it will be just as easily to get her for cheating on Enos ", then hughie tells his men to go put their plan into action for Jesse and Daisy meanwhile the boys is still snoozing away unaware that they is getting weaker by the minute unfortunetly i'm afraid to imagine what is gonna happen to them next .




Balladeer : these boys ain't never gonna wake up i guess only in their dreams they is.

Hughie turned to his men. "I'm going now, you just be sure them two boy's don't wake up for some time." He said, with a nasty grin. Barclay grinned at his Boss. "Don't worry them two boy's ain't gonna be wakin' up at all anytime soon." He said, as Hughie left.


The following morning Daisy and Callie headed into town to help fix the General since it was daylight. The two girl's were still upset since they hadn't seen or heard anything from neither Bo or Luke. Callie was beginning to get angry. "If someone done gone and hurt Bo and I find out who did it they's gonna be sorry." She muttered. Daisy looked at her friend in concern but didn't say anything as she halted in front of Cooter's Garage.


Cooter was standing outsdie working on the General when they joined him. "You heard anything?" He asked. Both girl's shook their heads and looked at the General and then towards Boss Hogg's office where they noticed both patrol cars were sitting which meant that Rosco and Enos were both there.


Boss Hogg was looking out the window of Rosco's office when he spotted Daisy Duke's jeep pull up in front of Cooter's and Daisy and a tall blond got out. The blond was wearing short shorts like Daisy's and a cute tank top and high heels. He recognized her as Bo Duke's girlfriend. "Wonder where them boy's is at? He muttered, watching as the girl's stood talking to Cooter, looking upset and worried.

Rosco joined him at the window and watched them talking. "Where's them Duke's?" He asked. Boss groaned and turned to face him. "Rosco you dodo, if I knew that I would not be standin' here wonderin' where them two boy's is at and why them two girl's is over there instead." He yelled.

O'l Luke and Bo ain't gonna be waking up anytime soon but unfortunetly they are gonna have to be rescued soon or they is gonna die cause they are very dehydrated and out like two dead samon's which ain't good.
Anyway after Hughie left them baddies was checking on the boys seeing that they is still asleep made them very happy they decided to sit at a table play a game of cards so they could keep an eye on the boys incase they woke up again which they is hoping won't happen and which is very unlikely to considering they now have two drugs in their bodies .

For some reason one of them started getting a craving for one of his cigs so he pulled one out of his pocket he said " I'm gonna have a smoke keep an eye on them boys cause we can't afford to lose them ", so then one of them began to smoke not realizing that door was opened the wind was blowing the smoke over to where the boys was sleeping suddenly Luke who was sleeping on his side began to cough intensely he didn't hear Luke at first until he started coughing louder then looked over he saw that he was sitting up he quick put his ciggertte in the ashtray he walked over to the bed where Luke was still coughing he rolled him over gently then he said " Them boys is looking bad they is pale , very dehydrated ".,

so Meanwhile in town Daisy and Callie was getting in Dixie to go search for the boys so they began to drive down cottonwood which is where the general was then they began to drive further down that until they came to some tire tracks leading to the Hazzard Swamp then Daisy said " Hey Callie maybe this is where the boys is at let's follow it ", so Daisy followed the road "she better hurry cause them boys don't look good ", then she came upon a cabin parked the jeep saw a car parked their she said " I bet these are the people that kidnapped Bo and Luke c'mon Callie let's go ", so they went in the bad guys seemed to be out of the way for the moment she saw a bed in the corner then she walked over pulled down the blanket saw that it was Bo and Luke the boys faces scared her she was so happy she found them but also sad cause they don't look good she said " Oh my Lord i thought they was dead oh they look so pale , dehydrated , but theiy is asleep which is not bad we gotta get them to the Hospital now ".

Then they began to remove the boys from the bed load them into the back of the Jeep make their way to tri-County Emergency which they better hurry so they get their in lighting time they beep the horn to let the people know that their is an Emergency so then a Doctor , a few Nurses , some interns with a gurney come out they see the boys the doctor says " Oh My Lord these boys is dangerously Dehydrated and Unconicous we have to get them in Right away we can't waste any time ", so then one of the nurses carefully puts Luke on one of the gurney's and then Bo then they rush the boys into the hospital into the ER the doctor starts Shouting
" I WANT THEM PUMPED WITH FLUIDS THROUGH IV'S STAT ".

BALLADEER : ALL I CAN SAY FRIENDS IS THEY BETTER MAKE IT .

Callie paced the length of the waiting room, her anger, fear and worry growing by the second. Uncle Jesse had given up trying to stop her anxious pacing after the first half hour cause every time she'd been stopped about 5 minutes later she'd be right back up and pacing again. Daisy sat next to him trying not to let the fear for her cousins show on her pretty face but as she continued to watch her distraught best friend her fear seemed to grow and she looked like she was about ready to get up and start pacing too. But before she could get to her feet the doctor approached them.

Callie pratically pounced on the doctor. "How are they doc?" She cried, grabbing the man's arm. The doctor looked at the young woman for a moment and smiled, gently patting her arm and then looked at Uncle Jesse and Daisy as they got to their feet. "We got them stabilized but they ain't awake yet." He said. "Can we see em doc?" Daisy asked, knowing that Callie was about to ask the same question by the look in her eyes.

The doctor smiled at them. "Go right ahead ladies, they're in room 240, just down the hall." He said. Daisy grabbed Callie's hand and both girl's ran down the hall as Jesse turned back to him. "How are they really doc?" He asked, as soon as the girl's were out of earshot. The doctor sighed and looked at him for a moment. "Well Jesse, I hate to be the one to give you such news but it appears them boy's is brain dead and unless by some miracle that all changes I don't see them ever waking up." He said sadly.

Jesse stared at him for a long moment and then turned away his eyes full of tears. He was afraid for his nephews. He didn't wanna lose em and he sure didn't know how he was gonna break the news to the girl's about Bo and Luke. He doubted either one would take it very well. Callie and Bo were so close and there had even been rumors going around town that Bo was gonna ask her to marry him. Jesse knew that if Callie lost Bo she'd lose herself too.


Daisy and Callie entered the room where Bo and Luke were and stood for a moment in the doorway staring at them before they finally approached the beds. Daisy sat down next to Luke while Callie took the chair next to Bo and reached forward taking his hand and raising it to her lips. "Bo, I don't know if you can hear me, but if you can, please open your eyes and look at me, I need you, please don't leave me." She cried, tears sliding down her cheeks.

Daisy watched her friend for a long moment and then reached out and took Luke's hand. "C'mon Luke, you and Bo have to come back to us, you have to help us find who did this to y'all." She said.

Balladeer: Things don't look good in Hazzard at all..with Bo and Luke brain dead and them two baddies on the loose getting ready to launch their paln to get rid of the rest of the Duke's....the only ones left to solve the mystery is Cooter and Callie....stick around you hear...for there's gonna be some surprises.

Sadly friends O'l Bo and Luke are still unconicous they unfortunetly may not wake up which i'm hoping won't come true .

Anyway them baddies was planning their next move on the rest of the Duke family they was starting to plan out their move on Uncle Jesse by planting Moonshine in his truck whiich will break his promise to the U.S of A. for running shine friends this time O'l Hughie is pretty smart ", So Hughie was telling his men to get their tails over to the Dukefarm " You boy's get on over to the Duke farm plant that MoonShine jug in Jesse's truck then we will have him in Jail getting Daisy will be simple as pie ",

Unfortunetly over at Tri-County Hospital Bo and Luke was still out asleep but the Dukes is hoping that the boys will pull through they'll wake up but sometimes fate has other plans but i just hope that them boys don't up to the pearly gates yet cause it ain't their time and poor Uncle Jesse was feeling pretty low he was also very curious as to who hurt his boys in the first place but don't worry friends the truth will come out eventually.

Meanwhile Uncle Jesse was in the boys room trying to get Luke to wake up first he said " Luke you need to wake up boy you need to come back to us i have to know what happened please he said " Luke if you can hear me please make a sign ", Uncle Jesse was just about to give up when Luke started moving his lips he said in a groggy voice " Uncle Jesse
even though Luke's eyes wasn't opened he was okay Jesse was speechless he said " Luke your okay your gonna make it but i bet your really tired so i'll let you rest ", then he went over to Bo's bed he said " Bo i need you to wake up please you can't leave me boy i need you please Bo try to make it i can't lose you boys now .

Then the Doctor came in he said " Jesse have the boys improved any ? "
Then Jesse said " Well uh Luke spoke i guess that means he's gonna be alright he'll wake up soon right "? Then the Doc said " Well Jesse even if the boys wake up with having a Brain Injury it could take awhile to heal plus since Luke was in the drivers seat when their accident happened he'll probably have more slower healing process then Bo but they should heal in due time.

Meanwhile back at the farm Barkclay and Roy was putting the Moonshine Jug in the back of Uncle's Jesse truck unaware that the boys was gone which they ain't gonna like ", Then Barkclay said " Now are plan is really gonna get good with this Moonshine we can put Uncle Jesse in the slammer them Dukeboys won't be none the wiser since they is zonked out.

Balladeer : O'l Bo and Luke is asleep still but unfortunetly they could die if they don't wake up soon.

Cue ANYONE

Callie groaned painfully as she uncurled herself from the chair next to Bo's bed that she had been sleeping in and got to her feet, stretching her long legs and walking across the room to check on Luke. She'd volunteered to stay with the boy's the night before so Uncle Jesse and Daisy could go back and get some sleep.

After seeing Luke was still asleep she walked over to the window and looked out at the parking lot. She grinned when she saw the General sitting in a parking spot, ready to go, then her smile changed and her eyes were sad again as she looked back at Bo and Luke and pressed her fists to her face in order to try and hold back her tears. She was trying so hard to be strong for Bo and Luke, and Uncle Jesse and Daisy but as time progressed and the boy's still didn't wake up she found it harder to do.


At the farm Jesse Duke and Daisy were getting ready to go to the hospital to see how Bo and Luke were when sirens cut through the air and startled both of them. "Now what's going on?" Uncle Jesse muttered as Rosco and Enos pulled up in front of the house and stopped, getting out and coming to the door. Daisy opened it. "What's going on?" She asked.

Enos grinned at her, always happy to see her. "Jesse Duke, you're under arrest." Rosco said. Jesse glared at him. "Rosco, I didn't do nothin." He yelled. "We got an anonoymous tip that you have moonshine hidden somewhere in your truck." Rosco said. "That ain't true Rosco and you know it." Jesse argued. "Just the same Jesse, I'm gonna have to search your truck." Rosco said.

Jesse and Daisy followed them out to the truck and stood watching as Rosco searched, but were quite surprised when Rosco held up the gallon bottles of moonshine and giggled. "I ain't never seen those before in my life." Jesse thundered. Daisy gasped and looked at her Uncle. "I'm sorry Jesse, all the evidence points to you." Rosco said. "Rosco, Uncle Jesse ain't run shine in years an you know it." Daisy cried. "Take it easy Daisy, you go on in too the hospital and find Callie an Cooter an let em know what's goin' on." Jesse said, allowing Rosco to lead him to the patrol car leaving Daisy standing alone in the yard.


Daisy ran into the hospital and found Callie sprawled in a chair by Bo's bed reading a car magazine, though every so often she'd look up at the two boys as though hoping for some sort of change, though she looked up at Daisy, startled when her friend burst through the door. "Daisy what is it?" She asked, getting to her feet and going to her side. "Rosco and Enos just arrested Uncle Jesse for possession of moonshine." Daisy cried. Callie's eyes widened and she looked at Bo and Luke. "Now what are we gonna do?" She whispered.

Balladeer: The first part of them baddies plan went off without a hitch and now Uncle Jesse is in jail and the boys still ain't woke up....How are the girl's gonna prove that Jesse's innocent or get him out of jail without the boy's help....Stick around now you hear.

With Jesse in Jail, and the girls pacing around the hospital. Nobody was getting anything done. Daisy decided to call Cooter and have him help her. "Callie, you stay here, and when the boys come around, call me on the cb. I'll be channel 7." Daisy then jogged out of the hospital, and jumped in the Roadrunner. Callie sat down in the chair, and read the new "Hot Rod". Daisy, raised Cooter on the radio, "Cooter meet me at White River Junction, in 20 minutes". "!0-4 Daisy Mae", Cooter then jammed the tow truck into 4th, and spun dust and gravel, all over the road.

Meanwhile back at the hospital the Doctor walked in, with the lab results. What had happened was, they were partially incapitated with gas fumes, with the hit the car took, in the phone pole, that put both boys unconcious. The lab work shows a high concentration, of ether, in there system, which combined with the head injuries, knocked them out the rest of the way. Also, I see on the lab work, a concentration of heroin, the level combined with everything else does explain their current condition. The brain scan, shows that there is no CURRENT, brain damage. However the longer they are unconcious, the worse it looks for any kind of a recovery. I have prescribed an adrenline drip in the IV. The dehydration, has subsided. There are no broken bones, however they both have a serious concussion. But on the good side they aren't pregant. With that news Callie, had walked out of the room, and since she didn't have a cb, she left a message at the jail with Rosco.

So Callie told Rosco " Rosco would you tell Daisy that the boys is still unconicous their doctor came into the room to give me the lab results they ain't so good he said the longer they stay Unconicous makes it worse for any type of recovry so if you could tell her that i would appricate it ",

Then she hung up the phone went back into the boys room sat down in the chair by Bo's bed she picked up Bo's hand she said " Bo please baby if you can hear me say something i don't wanna lose you Bo please wake up i love you ", Then all the pent up emotion that she had just fell down her checks she was so heartbroken thinking abouut how her and Bo won't have a chance at doing anything fun anymore or racing in the General , and it would just kill her.

Meanwhile Daisy was on her way to meet Cooter so they could find who is behind this terrible mess so she was almost to the road to meet Cooter when Rosco stooped her she said " Rosco i ain't got time for you ", Then Rosco said " But Daisy this is important it's about the boys the doctor said they both are Unconicous still the longer they stay out the harder it's gonna be for them to recover and Callie also said that he found some heroine in their systems and they both have serious ConCussion's ".
Then Daisy said " thanks Rosco i'll tell Cooter i really hope them boys get better soon how are we gonna find who did this to them without them ",

Meanwhile at the Hospital Luke was trying to wake up but his body was having a hard time on accont he took a serious blow to the head he is still rather out of it and Bo is moving around some in his bed but he is still out of it too as Callie was sitting in the chair by the Bo's bed she was praying that the boys would snap out of this soon cause she would be so sad if they never woke up .

Callie had fallen asleep with her head resting on her arms on Bo's bed when she suddenly felt a hand on her head, gently stroking her long reddish blond hair which hung in a wild dissarray down her back. She sat up fast and stared into Bo's bright blue eyes. "Bo." She whispered, leaning forward and gently touching his face just as she heard a groan from Luke and swung her head that direction.

At that moment the doctor came through the door and grinned at her when he saw Bo and Luke were awake. "Welcome back boys." He said and went over to check Luke before he checked Bo. Bo kept staring at Callie even while the doctor was checking him. He wanted to be close to her and hold her.


When Daisy reached the hospital she met the doctor in the hall. "Any good news for me doc?" She asked. He smiled at her. "Why don't you go on in and see for yourself." He said. Daisy stared at him for a moment and then took off running to the boy's room. When she got to the door she stopped and looked inside and released a loud gasp when she saw Callie sitting on the edge of a chair that Bo was sitting in near Luke's bed and Luke was sitting up in bed.

Callie looked the happiest she'd seen since the boys had disappeared and then been found and brought to the hospital. Daisy started to cry and they all turned to her as she walked through the door. Callie stood up and walked over to her wrapping her arms around her as Bo and Luke watched.

"It's gonna be okay." Callie whispered as she pulled back away and gave her friend a reassuring smile as Luke released a yawn and slid down in bed. "What happened to me?" He groaned. Daisy and Callie exchanged glances. "We don't know Luke." Daisy said and watched as he slowly drifted off to sleep, just as the doctor came in. "I wanna keep the boys overnight for observation but if everything's okay in the morning they can go home as long as they take it easy." He said.

"Don't worry doc, we'll make sure they do." Callie said and after she and Daisy said goodnight to Bo they both went back to the farm to get some rest.

Balladeer: Well folks now that Bo and Luke is awake, there's the little matter of finding who ambushed em while making sure that Bo and Luke don't over extend themselves....that's a mighty big job for two young ladies.

Early the Next Morning O'l Bo and Luke was still asleep when the doctor came in to check on them he first walked over to Luke's bed to look over Luke's chart first so far everything looked good and then he looked at bo 's chart everything looked good only he won't know for sure until the boys is awake. So around 10:00 AM Bo woke up he was feeling good he said " Doc can i go home today "? then the doctor said ' well i wanna check you out first if everything looks good then you can ", so he checked Bo over everything looked good he said " Bo you look good i want you to take it easy though no horse playing , even though your injuries ain't as bad as Luke's please try to take it easy okay ",


When he went over to Luke's bed he was still asleep he said " Luke , Luke , wake up Luke , and he was still asleep so he then realized that maybe he got hit harder then Bo since he was in the driver's seat so the doc left to go on his other rounds later on that day he was gonna check Luke out again ", So Later that day Callie and Daisy came to visit they was a bit shocked when they saw Luke well i guess maybe all that heroine that the doctor found the boys bodies is still in Luke's system but Bo looks okay he looks awake so they go over to Bo's bed Callie says " Bo you look better are you ready to go home ?", Bo says " Yeah i can't wait only i don'y know why Luke ain't woken up yet from last night falling asleep he should have been awake by now but then again he did get hurt alot worse then me ".

At the same time Daisy was pulling into the Hospital parking lot and made her way into the hospital she spotted the boys doctor in the waiting room she said " Well Doc how is my Cousin's is they okay today i hope cause i would like to take them home today ", then Doc said " Well Bo is in good condition except i don't know about Luke though he is having a bad concussion and Bo also has one but he ain't banged up enough as Luke since the phone poll fell on Luke's side of the car but he can go home just i would appricate it if you could keep an eye on Luke since he is not steady on is feet quite yet ", then Daisy said " I sure will Doc but is they awake yet or still asleep ? " Then Doc said " Luke is half-awake but Bo is awake your welcome to go into their room now " .

Then Bo looked at Luke strangely and said " Luke i really think you need to talk to the doctor again to find out what is wrong with you i don't know what caused our wreck i don't know ".

Menawhile out in the hallway the boys doctor was making his way into the boys room he was happy to see Luke awake he said " Luke you feein' any better today ?" Luke said " I don't know where i am , what happened , i have this painful headache , feel weak and sleepy, then doctor said " Well Luke that is all from your Car Wreck the fact that you have a serious concussion ", Then Bo looked over at Luke said " Cousin i wish i could tell you how the wreck happened only i don't know except you was driving you crashed into a telephone pole do you remember anything from the wreck ?" Then Luke said " I remember a crashing into something but after that it all is fuzzy but i sure we love to remember only i can't Bo .

Meanwhile in town them Baddies that caused the boys wreck was fixing on the their plan of how to get rid of Daisy then one them bad men said " You Know this part of the plan will be easy as pie since them Dukeboys will be none the wiser on accont of they was knocked out cold when we caused their wreck ", then Barkclay said " With their car at Cooter's they is about as helpless as samson was when he got that horrible cut ".
