In The Episode Find Loretta Lynn on DVD Boxset season 2 their is this scene that shows Luke getting hit in the eye by that mountain of a man.

and I had always wondered how he got that black eye and now i know.

I think the guy that is only 5"3" is has funny as the whole cast.

I don't think it actually shows "Bubba" hitting him, just Luke with the black eye. But "Bubba" and "Squirt" are two of the funniest bad guys the Dukes have ever bumped into.

This is one of my *favorite* episodes... and yes I did always wonder. <chuckle> Was kind of a central little scene for TNN to cut, wasn't it? I mean, it explained why Enos was wanting to ticket the "bad guys" car... it explained where Luke's eye got hurt... and it explained that scene at the end when Luke went after Bubba. Plus it had some nice, if brief, character-interaction stuff about the three cousins...

I liked seeing this scene, I really did.

I have that episode I taped off cmt,and bubba does punch luke out in that particular scene,just blind luck on my part!!!

Luke throws a punch to bubba's stomach and bubba says"friend,wish you hadn't done that..." then punches luke in the face as the scene switches over to enos taking a picture of loretta inside the boars nest!

I re-watched this episode on my R4 DVD copy of Season Two and noticed something very odd - in the final scene where they all sing along with Loretta, Cooter has his beard again and Bo's sideburns have grown.

Presumably, these scenes must have been either remounted or recorded at a later date - does anyone know which it is and why?

in Find Lorretta Lynn enos has the best lines!!! i love the monkey see monkey do thing that rosco and enos did!!! i liked it when daisy says "does this mean you don't want my autograph rosco?" and then enos says "I do daisy!!" then rosco says "daisy duke you mean i saved you?!?" i thought that was really funny!!! :D :D :D
