Tonight on the Dukes. The Dukes Lose Uncle Jesse. How will they handle the loss.


Uncle Jesse was looking at some Pictures of Luke,Daisy and Bo.Then he Started to look at some pictures of Lukes wedding. He Married a sweet girl . Her name is Kathleen Spencer. He once told Luke that he thought that he would never settle down and get married. He was glad he was wronge. Boy he missed the kids, He knew if he called anyone of them they would be back here in Hazzard in a heart beat. Then he started to get Sharp Pains in his chest. He picked up the phone and called 911. But then everything went black.


IN CHICAGO, Kathy was getting out of bed so she could take a shower Then head to the hospital. Kathy is a doctor. When Luke pulled her back on the bed and said why don't you play hookie and stay in bed with me. Oh Baby you don't know how tempting that is But The cheif of Staff will have my hide. Kathy Said. Luke Started to Kiss her. Then the Phone rang. Luke stopped what he was doing and he said Don't go any where. Then he picked up the phone and said Hello. Oh Hi Luke This Is Rosco I have some bad news your Uncle Jesse is in the hospital. He had a heatattick and the doctor don't expect him to last long. So you need to get here as soon as you can.Rosco Said. Ok Rosco. We will Thanks. Luke said as he put the phone down. Then he sat down on the bed and he didn't say anything Kathy walked over to him and said Baby, You ok? Luke looked up at Kathy with a teir in his eyes and said Uncle Jesse is in the Hospital. And they don't expect him to live long. I need to call Daisy in California and Bo in Flordia. Luke called Daisy and Bo and they both said see you at the hospital. Kathy called the Hospital where she worked and told them she won't be in she had a family emerency. Luke called the firestation and told the cheif the he wouldn't be in cause he had a family emerency. Kathy Started to pack their close. While Luke called the airlines and got two plain tickest. Then he called Cooter and Asked Cooter if he would have the General Lee waiting for them . Cooter said that he would. and Luke Said thanks Crazy C.

2 hous latter Luke and Kathy's plane landed in Alanta Georgia They got off the plane and got their suitcases and headed out to the parking lot and there was the General Lee waiting for them.Luke put the suitcasesand put them in the trunk. and they got in the General and headed to Tri-county Hospital in Capital City.

At the Hospital. Luke and Kathy walked up to the nurse's Desk and Luke said. Excuse Me you have my Uncle here his name is Jesse Duke. The Nurse looked at him and said. Yes we do but the doctor wants to talk to you before you see your Uncle.

The Doctor walked out of Uncle Jesse's room and he walked over to Kathy and Luke and he asked them to come to the waiting room so they could talk. They sat down and the Doctor said I'am Dr. Richardson, and I have some sad news for you Your Uncle Jesse is dying. But he is still hanging in there. and I just want to prepare you before you go in and see him he is hooked up to a heart monter and a res uator to help him breath.Do you have any questions? Dr richardson Said.

No we don't we just want to go and see Uncle Jesse Luke Said, OK Follow me. Dr Richardson said. they followed him to the room and they walked in Luke walked up to the bed and took Uncle Jesse's hand and said I'am here.





( CUE ANYONE)

Luke just stared at Uncle Jesse with tears in his eyes he tried to hold back the tears :( then he said " Uncle..... Jesse it's me...... Luke i ...i ..um breath i need for you to wake up please ", i don't want to lose you but Luke couldn't hold it back anymore he started sobbing away :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: Then Kathleen came and put her arm around him she said " Shh , Shh, it's okay honey i know how much he meant to you :cry: :cry: :cry: then Luke lifted his head up off her shoulder and he said with tear red eyes " What am I gonna tell Bo i ..... , I...... don't think i can be brave enough to tell him i'll crack like an eggshell. ", Then he started again then Kathleen said " I know honey and I'll be right their with you when you tell them Bo probably will wanna cry too but just relax and let all out.

After Luke got done crying Uncle Jesse opened his eyes for a short while he said " Who is am i hearing crying is that you Luke " ? , Then Luke said " I don't want you to die Uncle Jesse :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :( and please tell me i'm dreaming uncle Jesse i don't wanna have to tell Bo , Daisy this please i'm gonna miss you ".

Just then Bo came into the room. He went to the bed and said Iam here.

Luke looked up and said Bo we need to talk and then they walked out. and Kathy Said Luke you want me with you and Luke said Yes. So They all walked to the family waiting room. Bo Looked at Luke and said Ok Coz what's going on? Bo I have some bad News Uncle Jesse is ding. the doctor said he;s on bowarred time right now. Luke Said . Luke no you hurd wronge he ain't ding.Bo Said. Luke walked to Bo and said Ididn't hear wronge.



CUE ANYONE

:cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: " I didn't hear wrong Bo ", Luke said with tear filled eyes then Bo said " Cuz you had to have cause i know Uncle Jesse he ain't gonna die he can't ...... i... i... i'll miss him too much Luke he can't then Bo started :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: tearing up then Bo wrapped his arms around Luke he said " Oh Lord Luke what are we gonna do i'm scared " , Luke said with tear red eyes " I.... i... i'm scared too Bo i ..... i don't know how this happened i thought he was in perfect health unless was sick and didn't tell us ".

Then the boys both cried again hugged each other Kathy just looked and stared at them thinking "what a wreck these boys will be if he does die Luke probably will be so brokenhearted he won't wanna work anymore",
but they both can help each other through this i hope they'll be okay if he does die i hate to see Luke in so much pain right now ". Then a few minutes later the boys parted and went back into Uncle Jesse's room and being emotionally drained they fell asleep by Uncle Jesse's bed as they was sleeping they was hoping that this was only a dream but unfortunetly this was reality and poor Bo and Luke is gonna be brokenhearted Dukes for sure i hate to see them like this .

Kathy walked`out of the room.and went outside to get some fresh air. When she seen a car pull up/Daisy got out of the passanger side of the car and Enos got out of the driver's side. Daisy ran to Kathy and said How's Uncle Jesse? Kathy looked at Daisy with a teir in her eyes and said not good. and you better get in there. Ok, Are you coming? Daisy Said. Ya, I'am coming. Luke will need me Kathy Said. Then the Girls along with Enos went in to the hospital and into the room.

Luke looked up and saw Daisy.He got up and walked towards her and said Daisy we are losing Uncle Jesse. and I don't know what we are going to do with out him. Luke Said. Daisy huged him. Then they hurd Uncle Jesse call to them.So they all walked to him. Now Luke you are the oldest and it's your job to take care of the Family and to keep them out of trouble. Uncle Jesse Said. Uncle Jesse you will be here to do that yourself. Luke said. Now Boy, we all know that I won't be. Uncle Jesse said. Luke , Bo,Daisy ,And Kathy started to cry. and they all said We love you Uncle Jesse. Uncle Jesse looked at them and said I love you and then Uncle Jesse closed his eyes.and then his hand fell from Luke's Hand. Then the michaines started to go off.Dr Richards ran into the room. and shur the michains offand he looked at Luke ,Kathy,Bo, Daisy,and Enos and said I'am sorry he's gone.

Kathy went to lLuke and held him. and they all cried..

Their was no dry eye in the room Bo and Luke was hystrical they couldn't stop to save their lives and Kathy looked at Luke thinking that her husband is gonna be needing alot of TLC and O'l Luke sure is in a tight bind since Uncle Jesse left him in charge of the whole family he has no idea how he is gonna handle it all but he luckily has Bo their with him so he ain't totally alone but his heart is broken in pieces but fortunetly Kathy is their to pick them up.

Then She turned to Luke and said " Honey it will be okay you'll make it through this your heart wil heal in time okay Baby ", but Luke just couldn't stop he tried but the tears kept coming :cry: :cry: :cry: " I don't know what to do baby i'm scared......... out of my wits..... and i.. i.... :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: I'm afraid i'll let him down i don't think i can do it all by myself and Bo lives all the way in Florida he ain't gonna be with me", then Kathy turned to him and said " You'll have me , Bo , and Daisy i was thinking we could have them over at the house on accont you and Bo need each other right now more then ever both of you can help each other through this hard time ", then Luke said " Yeah i guess we can that means alot to me that Bo will be their cause ..... i .... i .. really need a laugh right now he is always good for one of them .

A few hours later Bo finally got under control he walked over to Luke who was still some what Crying he said " Cuz what is we gonna..... do i .. , i... don't know if i race anymore it won't feel the same then Luke turned to Bo said " I don't know if i can put fires out anymore since Uncle Jesse's gone whenever i'll see a person die in one of the fires i would think of Jesse.

Then the boys decided to go out and get some fresh air and talk about the Funeral arrangements.

The Boys Walked outside. Bo Saw the General Lee and said Boy it's good to see him again. and he sat on the hood. Then Kathy ,Daisy and Enos Walked out. Kathy walked up to Luke And he put his arm around her waist. Then he said Why don;t we all go back to the farm and talk about the arrangemntes for Uncle Jesse. Luke Said, So Luke,Kathy, and Bo got in the General Lee (Bo Driving) Daisy and Enos got in their car and they headed for the Farm.

At the Farm.... Bo shut down the General Lee and they all got out. and they all Just stood by the Genral Lee looking at the house. Man it seems strange to come home and not have Uncle Jesse come out that door to meet us. Bo Said. I know Bo. Luke Said.Then they all went into the house. Luke took his and Kathy's suitcases up stairs. when he came back down the stairs he saw Bo and Daisy And Kathy looking at pictures that was in an old shoe box.

And um..... it was pictures of Luke and Bo when they was babies and some other pictures of Bo , Luke , and Daisy when they was little kids Bo teased Luke about the picture that was showing him being born he is crying , small, and peaceful then Bo said " Luke you look like a little angel asleep in this photo", Luke said " Thanks Cuz i was a nice baby i didn't cause Uncle Jesse any trouble ".

Bo and Daisy both laughed after that comment Luke said then just when Bo was about to close the box a few envelopes fell out Luke said " Um i wonder what these are Luke picks them up sees that they are letters and he opens the one addressed to him he starts getting tears in his eyes because he remembers that day coming to Uncle Jesse's as a little baby he can see Uncle Jesse picking him up and tickling him making him giggle he just laughed and few tears fell out his heart is broken but in time it will heal.

Daisy and Bo took the letters and they started to read them. Bo finished reading his letter and said Man Uncle Jesse is taking care of us even now. Ya Bo I agree with you Daisy Said With a teir in her eye. Then Luke Noticed another letter but this letter was different. Luke picked it up and then Luke said a Letter and it's from my mother and it's dated 3 months before she and dad dies.

So Luke Starts to read the letter.
Dear Jesse and Leventa
Thank you for agreeong to be come Luke's Garden. Now I have some
thing to tell you.. Frank Just told me that he had an affair and that
there is another Duke out there some where. We will start looking
for the child as soon as we get back from our trip. Well gotta Go
Luke is cring.

Rose and Frank.


Luke put the letter back in the envolope. and put it iback in the box. and Quilty went up to his and Kathy's bedroom. Kathy followed him.

Back to the Reference in the letter.
Dear Frank,
I am going to my move out by my folks in California with our son Michael, I have finace that will very understanding and in the last letter that I had sent him I had told him about our son the trouble with your wife. My fiance said that he will raise Michael has is own son and that he will think about adopting him as his son if that is okay. There is a release form that you will have to sign enclosed that will terminate your parents rights to Michael and if you can sign and mail it back to me than your wife will never have to know about again. That way me and Michael can leave Hazzerd, Georgia without anybody in the Duke family every knowing about our affair and I can keep it quiet for as long as possible and just slip out of here and out of your life. You Frank, Michael is a very quiet baby and just take everything in and very observant of things going on I hope that someday he won't have to know that his real father was Frank Duke from Hazzerd and from that certain infamous Duke family. You he has the cutest Gree-Blue eyes I have ever seen and that my finace has green-blue eyes as well. Well I guess this good-bye from me and I'll take to you later. Is there anyway you can tell Rosco thanks for helping leave the county without asking to many questions about the baby, and he so proud of the baby he insisted on me taking a picture of him holding the baby. I just hope that Micheal doesn't think that he is real father, I have a picture of you and me and Michael that I will show to him when he is old enough to understand the truth about the whole story.

Bo put the letter down after he read it. Then he said wow Luke has another brother out there some where. We need to tell Luke Daisy said. Ya we will but not right now. Bo Said.


MeanWhile upstairs in Luke and Kathy's room. Kathy walked up to Luke and said. Baby are you ok? Kath, I'am fine I just have to let this sink in is all. and to know that I have a brother or sisther out there some where.

Two days latter They all was getting ready to say a final Good-Bye to Uncle Jesse.

Luke , Kathy , Bo , and Daisy was feeling like the sun wasn't shining today is Uncle Jesse's funeral it is a sad day in Hazzard.

So Bo and Luke make a long sad drive to the Hazzard Cementary they are gonna be crying their hearts out though today and Luke has frown on his face that is a mile long , then Luke says with tears rolling down his face " I'm really gonna miss him cuz i didn't want this day to come why didn't he tell us ", Then Bo said " Well Luke i wish i had answer for you but i..... i...... i .... know how you is feelin' cause i'm going through the same pain but Luke we have each other and Daisy ".

Then the boys and Daisy had arrived at the Furneral sadly Daisy's eyes was red from crying she ain't alone cause O'l Bo and Luke is feeling the same way then they began the sad task of burying Uncle Jesse saying their goodbyes then Bo , Luke , and Daisy hugged together they was sobbing away but little does Luke know that the cat is out of the bag.

Back at the farm...... they parked the cars and went int to the house and when they got there they got a big surprise. Judd,Coy,Vance and Jeb was there and they all hugged them. then they all had a little Lunch and then their friends went home and that just left the Dukes Bo Looked at Luke and said Coz Daisy and I have something to show you. and Bo walked over to the Soe box and got the letter out that he had found and he handed it to Luke and Luke read the Letter and when he was finishe he said No, this Can't be Happing Then he Told Kathy Judd,Coy ,Vance,and Jeb what was going on.and then Judd said well big brother we need to fine our brother Michael.

Somewhere in California
Michael is driving his Charger around, and he just enjoying the drive and going down the freeway and here's the Waylon and Willie song "Mama's don't babies grow-up to be Cowboys" and saying this is what Country music is meant to be not this modern music they have on now. Just then the deejay says that Waylon and Jessi Colter's boy Shooter have a cd coming out called "Put the O Back in Country" and he is thinking to himself and says that goes on the list, along with the new Dierks Bentley and Gretchen Wilson cd as well. Michael has this two pictures with him and it says on the back of the one Frank Duke(Michael's real Dad) and that he lives in Hazzerd County as well. The Next is of some dark haired Sheriff holding him, and it says on the back of it Sheriff Rosco P. Coltranie ( Michael Godfather and my older brother back in Hazzerd County). Michael after looking at these pictures says to his wife Layla that him and her and kids have to go Hazzerd County, Georgia and that his Godfather and Father is there and he has to go and see if he has anymore family there.

BACK IN HAZZARD..
Luke was saying good-bye to Daisy ,Bo,Coy,and Vance. are you sure you are going to be all right cousin. Bo Said. Ya Bo I will be fine I have Kath and Judd.Luke said as he gave Bo a hug. then he watched Bo get into the car and pull out. then Luke went back into the house. and he went into the livering room and sat down on the couch next to Kathy. Well bro when are we going to start looking for our Brother Michael. Judd Said. Luke took the letter that michale's mother wrote to their father and he read it again. and then he looked up at Judd with a smile on his face and said as soon as we talk to Rosco.

In Town Rosco was getting ready for Lunch When Luke Kathy and Judd walked in the door .

Rosco looked up and he said now what do you Dukes want?I though you left buy now. No Rosco we have buness her .we need to talk to you about something. Luke Said. I'm not instered in anything you Dukes have to say. Rosco Said. Rosco about 24 years ago you helped a women with a newborn baby boy leave Hazzard. and I want to know why. Luke Said. Boy I don't know what you are talking about go back to Chicago we don't need you in Hazzard.Rosco Said. as he startd to walk away. Rosco that Baby was my half Brother and I need to find him please Rosco . Luke said. Rosco stopped and then he looked at Luke and said Sorry Luke I' can't help you. Then he turned and walked out the door. Luke Said Can't it more like you won't. Then he he hit the cornor of Rosco's desk with his fist. Kathy Walked up to him and said Sweetheart we will find him we will get the answers we need someone in Hazzard must know something. . Kath, Rosco knows , I know he knows he Just ain't telling.


Out side the Courthouse.... Rosco got in his car . and he though could it be True his sister had an affair with Frank Duke and her baby was Franks Son. then he took out a picture of him and a baby out of his wallet. could that boy be a Duke his own nephew. Then he started up his car and went to lunch.

Rosco had the funeral card for his nephew "Michael Arthur Long" and it had said on it born January 9, 1959 and died August 8, 1983. He had tried to calm his sister when she had said at the funeral for her son that wasn't her son in her casket but he didn't pay no attention at just thought his sister was upset about his death. But he reminder her that he had been busy with police department and that he was undercover for a while and that he might have changed in the time since she had scene him and that it was all in her head.
Luke asking him about this now about brought back memories and he took a look at the picture once again and wondered could his nephew be Frank Duke's son and was he really dead after all. Oh wait a minute that the main character on "Knight Rider" that was Flash's favorite show and she was just fascinated with that ding danged talking car. Come to think of it was a good show as well, I liked but that car was quick I wish I had Kitt back in the day. I definetly would have caught the General Lee and the Dukes boys, I just wished that the car would have a woman's voice to it. I kind of wish that he was my nephew that boy would be right in my eyes and that he kind of looks my me anyways. Allthough I always did have a hard time deciding between April and Bonnie , on who was cuter between them. Juilana married that Joseph Szenger guy in California she sure did like him, even Mama thought that he was a better guy than
Boss. But I never picked favorites and I wonder what Michael Frank Szenger is doing today that reminds me I think I should go and call and maybe explains to him tonight. Besides Juliana never told him about his real daddy and he should know after all. Lulu always knew the truth about Michael but never told anybody about him in this little county here. She always could keep a pretty good secret now that I think about now, I wonder what Michael is going to think when he finds that picture of him and his parents. He sure is going to have some questions now and there maybe he should come out here and finally learn the truth about his family here after all.

Michael Frank Szenger got home to his wife and daughter and took a look at a envelope that his Uncle Rosco had sent to him and he opened it up and it had said after reading this letter call me.

Later in the evening Michael is calls his Uncle Rosco up and he ask what that true what you wrote in that letter. About my father now being my father after all and what was that thing me my real Dad's name being "Frank Duke" and that I have two brothers by the name of Luca K. Duke and Judd Duke. Uncle this can't be true and would you want me to come out to Hazzerd to talk to you about this all thing. By the way how is Aunt Lulu doing and how is "Velvet Ears" doing there, she always was so cute by very protective. Man, I miss Grandma Coltrane you know Uncle Rosco she was so sweet to me. You would have thought that I was her only grandson from the ways she spoiled me.
Rosco says just to point out something Michael, you was her only grandchild. What did you say there I thought that I had some cousins on the Coltrane side somewhere out there.

Mean while Back in Hazzard. Luke Kathy and Judd is tring to find infomation on his half brother.

When the phone rang Luke picked it up and said Duke Farm Luke Duke Speaking. Hay Luke This IS sherriff Rosco we need to Talk you where right I do know about your half brother his name is Michael and He called me and I told him about you and Judd So he's on his way to Hazzard. To met you he should be here in a few days. I hope that you will forgive me But I did prommis my sister that I wouldn't tell anyone about him. but you where right you do have a right to know. When he get gets here I will tell him how to get to the Farm.Rosco Said. Thanks Rosco. Luke said as he hung up the phone.


2 Days Latter.... Michael and his family pulled in to town . Michael looked at his wife and said I will be right back I need to go and see my Uncle Rosco and get some infomation about my brothers. So he got out of the car and went into the courthouse.

Cooter had seen this younger version of Luke and his Dad "Frank Duke" he was walking in the Courthouse he had wondered who this guy he was just curious. You seen he had the air of Luke, but very determined and he when he behind Cooter he passed just Luke used to do. And he had will ask who this guy was when he came back out again, he had seen that he had his wife and kids with him. He was driving a Charger, and the plates had said on them "California" and that was a nice car.
Michael went to the Sheriff's office took Enos by surprize and he ask what he wanted , he had said that his name was "Michael Frank Szenger" and he wanted to talk to his Uncle Rosco (Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane) he had mentioned that he was from California and his Uncle had important family information for him.

Enos said ya The Sherriff is in his office. and at that moment Rosco walked out of his office and said Enos I'am going on potrol. Rosco Said. But before Enos could say any thing Michael Said Uncle Rosco Iam Michael. We need to talk. Oh ok come into my office. Rosco Said. So They walked into the office and shut the door. they sat down.


meanwhile ouside.... The General Lee come speeding around the cornor. and pulled into Cooter's Garage. and Luke,Judd and Kathy got out of the General Lee. and Cooter said Hay Lucas you would never guess who i saw going into the courthouse. Who Crazy C. Luke Said. a guy that looks just like you but he was a few years younger. Cooter Said.Luke Look looked at Kathy and Judd and then he said thanks Cooter. Then Kathy,Judd and Luke headed for the courthouse. but when they got on the steps of the courthouse Rosco and Michael was coming out.

MIchael had asked "Now how do I get Mill Pond rd again Uncle Rosco, I am new to the county?"
Nichael had seen Luke, Judd and Kathy walk up to him, and said " are you Luke and Judd Duke, but who are you now my Uncle didn't tell anything about a sister now".
Just then Ross gets out of Michael"s black 69 Charger and accidently hits his horn, and dixie plays from under the hood. Jessica is yelling at her son about hitting the horn getting out of the car, she sure did wish they had taken the Caprice Classic that she drives down to Georgia. Jessica tells Ross that he doesn't know where he is going around here and he should get back here right now. Ross just ignores his Mom and walks right over to Cooters and over to Rhuebottoms store and by now Jessica as gotton out following the five year old and she goes to Rhuebottoms store as well. Michael by now sees his son get out of the car and hears him accidently sets off his horn as well, he is wandering in the rush did Jessica take the keys out of his car as well or just went following with car running. He wanders somedays about his wife, she was pretty but sometimes she just forgets the most important things to make sure of and stuff like that. And also Judd, Luke and Kathy are noticing all this going on as well, and they see that Ross and Jessica go over to Rhuebottoms with the car still running. Michael says excuse me while I turn off my car and get the keys out, this has happen before. Jessica has locked the keys in the cars with it running and by the time I could get them out with my spares I was out of gas.

Luke, Judd and Kathy helped Michael and Jessica get their son Ross. and then Luke interduced Kathy he said this is my wife Dr Kathleen.and michael said cool we have a doctor in the family. Luke looked at him and smiled as they walked over to Cooter's garage.and they interduced Cooter to them and Cooter said cool another Duke. Oh Luke The General Lee is ready to go I noticed when you pulled in that the tail light was out so I fixed it. Thanks Crazy C, (Looking at Michael)Why don't you follow us back to the farm and we cant get to know one other better. Ok Luke Michael Said then they all got in their car and headed for the farm.

Ross had said to Michael and Jessica "This is going to cool , I have never been to farm before. I wonder what their farm is going to be like then."
Michael had said "Son, this might be a small farm, it don't look very big then."
Ross had said " Dad I wonder what kind of animals they are going to have their then."
A short time later they were at the Duke farm and Ross just loved the place, he couldn't help to keep asking questions to Uncle's about the place and if they had grown-up here.

By all this time, Rosco was on Patrol and he had seen the General and Michael black Charger headed to the Duke Farm. He had known that he done the right thing by telling Michael about his brothers he was just think wait till he meets his cousins now, this ought to be colorful now and this would be intersecting. Michael's wife Jessica was the dumbest Blonde he had ever met in his wife , she was always locking her keys in the car. Rosco sees why Michael lhad married her for, and she is a good wife and mother to him and his Ross. Rosco had got on the cb and wanting to talk to Michael to see how he liked getting to know his brothers but he had kept off the radio. He had remembered six years ago, Michael had gotten back from Prom weekend only to hear to his parents died from a fatal car accident and then he to somehow make to throught to graduation and then he had married Jessica after all that they had somehow gotten closer. Him and Lulu went to his Graduation for him and he was crying after the ceremony wishing that his parents could've been there and seen him make it through high school and on to the next stop with life. He was also at his wedding as well, and been there when his son Ross was born he was named after Rosco after all. He had a couple of years ago given Michael a puppy of Flash in which he named "Velvet" and that that dog is getting bigger and just her Mama. He had seen that "Velvet" was with them, how could Jessica lock at cute dog like that in a hot car today.

Mean while back at the Duke farm. ...... They where all sitting in the living room Talking. Hay Luke where is our father I would love to met him. Michael Said. Michael I hate to tell you this but our father along with my mother died in a car accident when I was 2 years old. they where on their way home from a trip to Alanta I was in the back seat in my carseat So Iam the only one who servived. and thats when I came to Live with Uncle Jesse and Aunt Leventa and they Raised me like I was their own. Luke Said. oH . Do we have other family Michael Said. Ya we do. We have cousins. Bo Duke, Coy Duke,Vance Duke, Jeb stewart Duke, And Daisy Duke. Luke Said. I would like to met them Michael said. Luke smiled and said I will give them a call. Then Luke went to the phone and started to make calls.

Wow Dad, you went from no family to a whole bunch said Ross. Jessica said oh by the way our son's full name is "Rosco Jesse Szenger" and she had said he hates it when I use legal name to get his attention. He does look like alot like Michael but the whole time I had known his dad Joseph D. Szenger I couldn't figure out who he looked like. His Uncle Rosco said that he looked like him but something about that sounded like up great big lie. Hey did you know that my Uncle is Richerd Petty stock car driver, and everytime he sees Michael he keeps trying to remember where he knows him from. I guess I know he keeps thinking of now, did you race at one time Luke judging from the photos up on the Mantle over there. My Uncle Richerd and my grandfather Lee Petty keeps telling he is a natural behind the wheel, he doesn't like when I drive his car keeps telling me that I putting carbon in the engine and that I drive too slow.

Ross was still excited about meeting his family and always hated when his mom used his full name to get his attention. Michael had asked Judd and Kathleen so what is my cousins like then , I mean I have never met them before. Jessica is asking so this looks like you're are having quite alot of surprizes right now,. and this and now getting to meet your cousins that you didn't know that you had. Ross had spotted a picture of old gentlemen standing by a strange looking stove and he wandering what is doing in the middle of woods. And there is glass jars with water in them and he is curious and wandering what is going with the pictures and waiting till his Uncle Luke gets off the phone so he go ask what is up with the picture.

Luke put the phone down and walked over to Kathy and the others. he said they all are coming they will be here in a few days.

Ross walked over to Luke carring a picture he said Uncle Luke who is this and why does he have jugs of water by him? Luke took the picture from Ross and he looked at it and said with a smile on his face and said this is Uncle Jesse and he's standing by a still and those Jugs ain't filled with water. They are filled with moonshine. you see we use to make and run moonshine. Until Bo and I got cought running moonshine and Uncle Jesse promised the USA Goverment that he wouldn't make moonshine again. and then Bo and I where put on pobation.and Uncle Jesse never made moonshine again. we Just resenlty lost him. he raised me when Mom and Dad was killed in a car accident.

Daisy works as a stunt women in the movies. She lives in Hollywood California, Bo he's a race car Driver He's one of the best. Vance he's now a lawyer and his wife Tracy is a socal worker and they Live in Tennessee and They Have a 6 Month old Daughter Named Courtney Ann Duke, Coy is a Texas Ranger, Hes married to a girl Named Kris. She's a nurse. and they have a 3 year old son named Coy jr. and They Live In Dallas Texas. and be fore Uncle Jesse Died and We came back home We Lived in Chicago. I 'am a firefighter and Kath is a doctor and we have no children yet. But even thought we all live in different states we all keep in touch. Luke said.

Michael had said that is something there, as a matter of fact I am a Border Patrol agent down by the California and Mexico.der crossers come up the darnest thing but they never get past me and my Charger out there. Every once in while Velvet goes along as well, I suppose I should get her a little badge for her collar one of these days, Luke. Ross never goes anywhere without his bike he was riding a two-wheeler with training wheels by two years old, and last month he tried to jump the pool and he didn't quite make and him and the bike went in the pool. Ross was bugging me to get his bike out eariler and maybe in a little bit I'll go get out of my trunk. Right this week is my vacation week from Border Patrol and it is relief not to be doing that this week.

Eight years ago on hot summer day
Michael is drivning his Black Charger and he sees a Blonde on the side of the road she has a flat struggling with the four way to change her tire on her Caprice classic. She was Borrowing her dad's car right now and he said that everything was okay, but she about to find out that the spare was flat as well. Jessica walks over to the trunk of the car and she looks at her spare tire and it was flat as well. Just out of nowhere she sees this good-lookin dark guy teenager coming to her and he is asking is there a problem with your car. Jessica says oh I am Jessica and aparantly I have a flat and my Spare tire is flat as well. Well, my name is Michael and that is a problem you want to toe your car to the gas station for ya and you can get to know me better on the way there. Jessica and Michael got to know each one another on the way to gas station and by the time they knew they was at the gas station about to take car of Jessica's problem with her car here.
And the rest is history.

Jessica walks over to Luke, Michael and Ross and she is looking at them and at her husband and says " Is he telling you the flat story again, he just loves to tell people about we met Luke." Ross is looking and says " How come you never told me about the story Mom, it is a neat story and I could go tell my friends at school later." Jessica says " That is exactly why I never told you Ross, because you don't keep a could secret or anything in fact to yourself." Ah, Mom but that is such a neat story I could tell at story and the boys will just love, can't I atleast tell Adam about how you and dad met then Mom. Jessica says " Sure , he is too little to tell anybody and beside his dad alreadry knows because he is alway teasing me about everytime I see him anyways. Luke ask are talking about the driver Kyle Petty and who is Adam, Jessica?
Oh, ya he is my cousin I sure that Bo has met him before then, oh by the way Adam is Kyle's son and he just follows Ross around everywhere. Ah, when he see him they are best buddies right now even Ross gets mad about Adam sticking like glue to him

Ross looked at Luke and said Uncle Luke How did you and Aunt Kathy Meet. Well Ross, It was 9 years ago,Bo and I was being chased by your Uncle Rosco and his Depudy Enos strait. and Bo Wsn't paying attion where he was going and out of nowhere came a red convertable with a pretty dark haired blued eyed beauty driving it. I bet that was Aunt Kathy.Ross said. Luke smiled and said yup you bet it was, Bo was headed right for her and I said Bo look out and Bo turned the General Lee to the right and Kathy turned her car to the left and Kathy went into the ditch. We lost Rosco and Enos by Jumping the creek and then we headed back to where Kathy was and we stopped the Generallee and we got out and we helped her out and I drove her car to Cooter's . and 3 years latter we were Married.Luke said.

Then Jessica Said ok Ross time for bed. then they all went to bed.


2 DAYS LATTER.......Luke was showing Michael the General Lee. Judd was helping them. Ross was riding his bike and Kathy and Jessica was in the house talking. When they hurd a car pull up. they went to the door and a blond guy got out of the car Kathy ran to him and said Bo and gave him a hug and Luke Michael and Judd walked over to them and Luke Interduced them all to Bo. and then Bo took his things in the house and then he came out and started to tinker on the General Lee. Michael Said You KNow this a great car. It reminds me of my charger sitting over there.

When Luke , Bo , Michael , Ross , And his wife got back in Michael started asking question's about when Bo and Luke was little babies and if they could tell him some stories about that time.

Then Luke said " Well of course i can but i remember alot more stories then Bo here does considering i was Uncle Jesse's first baby so i'll go first since Bo came after me but i wasn't that much older then he was then i was only 2 months old then Mike said " Maybe Y'all could also tell me stories about like when you and Bo would get a little wild what Uncle Jesse would do to you.

Ok, I remember a time when Uncle Jesse told Me and Bo to go to bed and we did go to our rooms but we didn't go to be we started to play and have a good time Uncle Jesse would Yell Boys It's time to go to sleep now Lie down and close your eyes and go to sleep. Well we did as we where told for about 5 minutes then we started to Jump on our Beds then Uncle Jesse came in to our room and said Boys and he spanked us and we Cried and Then I looked up at Uncle Jesse Face and he was cring too.

Then Michael said " Well do you have any more stories Luke ? Then Bo chuckled said " Well i remember this one time when Luke was just a little infant he was only 2 months old and uh Uncle Jesse had just set him down in his playpen for a nap so Luke was almost asleep when he felt this funny itchy feeling in his diaper then he began to cry hystarical ", Then Uncle came running into the den which is where he had mine and Luke's playpen's he picked up Luke who was crying , screaming , Uncle Jesse said " What's a matter boy huh you had a bad dream ? , shh shh , shh shh, Luke kept crying until Uncle Jesse felt Luke's diaper he said " Oh somebody has a wet diaper so he carried Luke into the Nursery which is now our bedroom he began to pull down Luke's pants he lifted Luke's legs up and Luke was squarming and moving ", Uncle Jesse said Stop moving Luke i can't tell what is wrong if you don't stop wiggling .", So he eventually got Luke's diaper off he noticed that Luke's bottom was all wet and red so then he said " Luke you got yourself a case of Diaper Rash we is gonna take care of that right now ", then he got the baby powder out he brought it over to Luke who was now naked he was just about to pour the powder out when Luke started moving again his leg accidently kicked the bottle some of the powder fell out on Luke , Uncle jesse of course Uncle Jesse began to laugh and he said " Oh look what you done now ", then Luke began to chuckle too then Uncle Jesse went over to the table he got a new diaper he began to put it on Luke he said " Now you is all set and ready for bed then he put Luke down in his cradle he fell asleep then Uncle Jesse said " Goodnite Luke see ya in the morning .

Luke was about to say something to Bo about telling that story. When he hurd some cars pull up. He looked out the window and there was Daisy and Enos.Coy,Kris and Their son CJ, Vance,Tracy and their daughter Courtney. and Jeb.

They all came in the house. and Luke interduced them all to Michael and his family. and told them that they where just telling storys about Uncle Jesse. Daisy Said I got one. and they all sat down. Well I was 6 years old when my father died and I came here to the farm to Live with Uncle Jesse Aunt Levenda and the Boys. I remember I was so sad and all I could do was cry. and I did that for a few days.Then Uncle Jesse to me and said come here girl. and I went to him and I sat on his lap. and he said you know Daisy I know you miss your Daddy. You know I miss him too. he was my baby brother. and I feel I let him down cause as the oldest I was suppose to protect him. and I failed him. I looked up at Uncle Jesse and said Uncle Jesse you didn't fail Daddy he told me once that he loves and respected you and Uncle Jesse I love you too. and then I gave him a hug and then we cried together. I miss that old man he was very wise.

Luke turned to Bo and said " Hey do you remember that time when we was very little and Uncle Jesse was giving us our bath"? Then Bo chuckled
" Yup I remember that one he was not happy but he did realize that we was just little babies .

Then Mike said " I'd like to hear that story it sounds funny i bet y'all was quite the handful back then and Luke said " Well i wasn't that much of a headache as Bo here was ", then Luke began telling the story well it was a Rainy day which was rather unsual for Hazzard anyway it was nearing mine and Bo's bath time we was just sitting in our playpens playing with our toys when Uncle Jesse came in he said " It is bath time boys we is gonna have some fun ", so then he picked us up carried us into the bathroom and he began to start the shower then once the tub was filled he began to undress us he put our dirty diapers in the trashcan unfortunetly the smell of the dirty diapers was in the bathroom .

So Uncle Jesse said " Well you boys sure made a mess in them diapers ", of course we couldn't talk yet so we just chuckled then he picked me up first he put me in then he went back over to the counter he picked Bo up Bo started crying for some reason Uncle Jesse figured it was because he was afraid of the water he said " It's okay little one don't worry it won't hurt you look Luke is happy he ain't worried ", so then uncle Jesse put Bo in he began to wash us he was just about to wash my face when the phone rang he said " boys now you stay here and be good i'll be right back", but unfortunetly Bo and me began to splash eachother all the water, the soap, fell out onto the floor we was just having fun .

So as he was talking to Aunt Rose he said " Well Rose i gotta go i left the boys in the bathtub they is probably getting goosebumps by now so he hung up the phone came into the bathroom and we was too busy having fun to notice his face he was not happy he stepped into a big puddle then he began to look at us and say " You boys is in trouble..... he was about to whip us then he realized that we was just little boys he laughed instead he got a towel he walked over and got me wrapped up first , then he wrapped Bo up , we was crying unfortunetly because it was late we was sleepy he said " well boys it is time for bed " , as he was drying us off i was crying still and Bo had stopped which was weird cause Bo normally is still going on ", So anyway he got our Pajamas out he put them on us they had the little footies on them he saw i was still crying he said " shh shh , shhh shhh , Luke , c'mon it's okay boy , shh , shh , :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: then Uncle Jesse got me my teddy bear he handed me it then he layed me down in my cradle he said " sleep tight Luke he kissed me on my forehead , he got Bo settled down who was crying also he said " Oh you boys is overtired huh well their is only one way to fix that ", so then he layed Bo down he said " Sweet Dreams Boys i love ya ".

Luke knelt in front of his Uncle Jesse's grave, starting at the lettering through tear filled eyes. He didn't know how much longer he could go without losing control. He fought to be strong for his younger cousins but the longer he went without releasing his emotions, the harder it got for him to be keep on being strong for Bo and Daisy.

He heard footsteps behind him and turned partially to see Bo approaching, his handsome face lined with concern. Luke smiled when he realized his youngest cousin was there to lend the moral support that he needed so much.

When Bo reached him he knelt beside him and reached over resting a gentle hand on Luke's shoulder. Luke turned and smiled at his cousin. "When I was two I had pretty bad colic and could not settle down and go to sleep." He started.

Bo managed a small smile and motioned for him to go on, knowing Luke needed to share these memories with him. "Uncle Jesse stayed up till One in th mornin' with me, until I finally settled down enough to go to sleep." He said.

Bo nodded and watched as his oldest cousin, the one who never cried, broke down and sobbed. He reached out and wrapped a gentle arm around his cousin's shoulder's and pulled him into a hug.

Luke was grateful for Bo's support, even though he'd never told him so. The two boy's continued to kneel in front of Jesse's grave until dusk started to crawl over them, making the cemetary and the area surrounding it seem dark and eerie.

Luke said " Hey Bo remember that time when i was 21/2 you was 2 we couldn't wait to eat and decided to go get our own breakfast it was cookie's. Then Bo said " Uncle Jesse scared you out of your wits you screamed and cried then Mike looked over and said " Boy y'all must have been little trouble makers ", Luke said " No we ain't just Bo here was always getting these wild ideas i'll tell ya how it happend ",

Bo and Me was just waking from our nap and Uncle Jesse had gone out to feed the chickens and we was hungry we couldn't wait so Bo said " Luke wa cookie ", Luke said " yes me wa COOKIE ", so then me and Bo went into the Kitchen we unfortunetly had a little trouble reaching cause it was up high then i went and got a ladder and set it up then i got up on it and got the Cookies me and Bo was muchning away we didn't even see Uncle Jesse come in ",
He scared the wits out of me and i started crying , Screaming , he picked me up he said " Luke it's okay don't cry boy it's okay , shh , shh , shh , i didn't mean to scare you ", then I relaxed some just i was so sacred he said " Their we go why was you eating cookies i don't want you boys to choke you can't eat them yet you is too little now c'mon i'm gonna feed you some nice mushed peaches", So then he set us down in our highchairs
he feed us some peaches which tasted Luke chuckled rather bitter but boy he was so good to us and i miss him very much.

Ross said so did anyof you ever get into any trouble around the county or anywhere, because daddy says he doesn't know how I get in to so much trouble. Jessica had mentioned that one time Uncle Rosco was visiting and me and Michael had to get some things for Ross's birthday party one year and whatever Ross did, he had said just like your father kid. Ross says he always calls me Rosco , and I don't like it when he calls me that and it just because I like Ross so much better anyways. Jessica says " I know what you do now Ross, you dropped the cat in the pool trying to get Patches to swim and I he swam to the shallow end and got out and ran up in a orange tree and stayed until your father and me got home. Ross looked shy and said" But Velvet loves to swim why wouldn't Patches want to join him in the pool that day, it was hot. Jessica had seen all of her in-laws in stitches about the cat and the pool story. Michael had said it not that Patches can't he prefers not to swim Son. Ross had ask well Uncle Luke , I thought that patches wanted to swim that day and Uncle Rosco had said something to me that Id didn't understand that day. Luke had asked what did he say to you Ross? Well Uncle Luke he got all mad at me and said your a Duke allright Ross.

Michael had said " That was the funniest thingest I ever came home to in my life, Uncle Rosco was mad." Because apparently not only was Velvet in pool so was Flash and Patches and the dogs didn't get along. Can you guys show me dad's gravestone in the cementary here , if it here's in this county. Jessica is just looking and seems that her husband really wants to know about his father that he had never really knew about until his Uncle told him

Michael points to looks like it the Sheriff, and he is going to talk to us about something, and Jessica is scolding Ross about letting Velvet run around a Cementary and she seemed to be digging a hole somewhere. Ross was always up to something and she was seemed to following him everywhere and this kid was up to something always. Michael also sees his dog digging a hole in the Cementary and he goes and picks up his dog and put her back in his car real quickly. He is about to yell at his son, but instead sees that his Uncle is going to ask him something and he wandered what he wanted to talk about now. Michael is waiting for his Uncle to notice all his cousins there and there families, he had wandered what his was going on now.

Jessica is from North Carolina and knows more about racing that her husband Michael does. She had moved to California when she was fourteen years old, and met Michael when she was sixteen and they had got married when they was both eighteen and a years later little Ross was born.

Luke walked up to his father's grave and said well dad your boys are together now. and we are going to stay that way I just wish I knew about Michael sooner we have a lot to chatch up on you would be proud of him and Judd too.Kathy walked up to him and grabbed his hand.

Judd and Michael came up behind them. and Luke looked up at them and said this is dad is bured. Jessica put a Rose on Frank Duke's grave. Then her and Kathy left So the Boys could be alone with their father.

Luke knelt down and he cleaned the head stone off hes mothers grave and said Hay mom. and then he turned to his Father's headstone and did the same.

Luke got up and when he got up he got a little dizzy but he shook it off. Then he looked at Judd and Michael and said lets head for the rest of the family. So they walked to where the the rest of the family was, and they where at Uncle Jesse's grave. and then he said well everyone lets head back to the farm. So they headed for the farm.

AT THE FARM... Latter on that night..
Luke couldn't sleepi So he carefuly got out of bed so he wouldn't wake up Kathy.he got dressed and went out to the kitchen and got a glass of milk. and he thought at the table and though how is he going to take care of the family.was Uncle Jesse right to leave him in charge of the family. Next thing he knew it was dawn, So he got up and Made some coffee and went outside to do some chores.

2hour latter Kathy woke up and when she turned to face Luke she saw that he was gone. So she got out of bed and got dressed and went out to the kitchen.she spotted the coffee and she got a cup. and then she saw luke feeding the animals Like uncle Jesse use to. So she got another cup and filled them both with coffee. and took the coffee out to Luke . She walked outside and walked up to Luke and said Apenny for your thoughts. . Then she hanned Luke his coffee.

Luke looked up at her. and said oh Thanks Kath for the coffee. I was just thinking about the family and how I'am gonna keep this family together and out of trouble. I think Uncle Jesse made a miss take when he put me in charge of the family. Kathy walked up to him and said Hon he made the right dection and you know it, He knew you could handal it . You was pratlicty keeping Bo out of trouble when Uncle Jesse was a live.Kathy Said. Luke Smiked and said Ya I had to find a way do get Bo out of trouble cause most of the time he draged me along with him. Luke said Laughing. Then they saw Bo come outside. He walked over to them and said What's so funny?

Then Luke looked over at him he said " Oh I was just thinking of all the times i had to help get you at of trouble even though at the same time you would drag me along with you ", Then Luke yawned he drank some more coffee Bo said " Luke i heard someone down in the Kitchen this morning was that you ?' Luke said " Yes it was me i couldn't get to sleep last night Bo i tried too Bo but i had alot on my mind so i figured i would just get up ", Then Bo laughed said " Well Luke did you decide to try to fall back asleep cause you look tired "? Luke just laughed " No i came outside decided to feed the animals like Uncle Jesse did when he would be up before any of us but i feel fine Bo don't worry about me ".

LATER ON THAT NIGHT : It was after dinner everybody else had to gone off to bed except Luke who was having a hard time getting to sleep which ain't good cause Luke's body wlll suffer for it considering he won't be no help if he winds up in the hospital antway Kathy came down she said " Baby what is you still doing up it's late c'mon to bed now ", Luke said " kat I can't sleep i feel too much pressure on me i don't know if i can handle being in charge of Y'all and myself i .... , i..... , so confused ",
Kathy said " Honey you ain't gonna be able to anything if you don't get any sleep .

Ross was up and so was Velvet that was running around so he let the dog go outside on to the farm. Ross had thought about what his Uncle Luke said about him keeping the family out of trouble but couldn't figure it out himself at the time.
Ross sees a white Caddilac pull up and he sees him Aunt Lulu but didn't know who the guy in the white suit was at the time. Ross comes in the house with Velvet, but Velvet didn't come in with Ross instead was barking at the guy in the white suit. Boss had thought just like Rosco's dog Flash , this one puppy of hers didn't like him one bit. So this little boy was Rosco's great-Nephew and his and Lulu and Frank Duke's grandson, he looked like his late Father-in-law and he wandered if the boy knew this yet. Michael comes out the farmhouse after Ross tells him that his Aunt LuLu and a man in a white suit and white Caddilac was here and asking for him. Jessica had followed him as well, and J.D. Hogg said to Lulu that her Nephew has good taste in wife's. Soon after that as well Bo and Luke and Judd and Kathy was outside as well.

Bo had looked at Ross and said that right is Boss Hogg , oh I am sorry I mean Jefferson Davis Hogg. I would think he would be your Uncle thow, sorry about that kid and Michael caught what Bo had said and wanted to laugh but couldn't he was his Uncle as well. Luke thought it was funny and so did Judd and Kathy as well, Michael and Jessica stayed serious as well. She like her husband new family everybody but Boss Hogg, there just something about him that she didn't like at all but she didn't know what it was. Boss said that he wanted to talk to Michael, Jessica and Ross in private and Jessica wandered what he had wanted to talk about now.

Michael had his Uncle that day about the cat and the tree incedent why they couldn't get back into there house. His Uncle went to explain that he accidenly closed the door with getting the keys. Jessica was glad that Michael remembered the keys to things, and Jessica went and unlocked the door and set the groceries down went to tree got Patches out of the tree, and carried the wet cat out of the rain had Michael get Velvet and Flash out of the pool. Well Rosco got his dog out of the pool.

Michael, Jessica and Ross and Velvet was right by Boss Hogg and they was just talking, and Boss thought that Jessica looked familier to him in someway. And she explained that her Uncle was Richard Petty and that she was probaly at one his races when she was little or something like that. Ross is asking Boss how you have driver for your car, don't you know how to drive yet. Michael had told his son that is not polite question to ask somebody son, Michael says that I don't know where my son get this stuff from honestly. I don't think it from me or Jessica here and his questions come right to the point half the time.

Boss was telling Michael all of the thingd that Bo and Luke did yo him of course he made himself out to be inacent.

Meanwhile in the Barn Bo and Luke was stacking hay and Luke got dizzy and he sat down. and Bo Ran to him and said Cousin are you ok. I'am fine.Luke said as he started to get up and he still felt dizzy and had to sit back down. Luke are you sure you are fine let me call Kathy.Bo Said. Luke gave Bo the look and he said Bo ,I told you That I'm fine there.s no need to worry Kath. Ol Coz Ok Bo said holding his hands up.

MEANWHILE IN THE HOUSE...Kathy and Daisy was talking. Daisy I'am worried about Luke he hasn't been sleeping lattly Something is pothering him but every time I ask him about it says he's fine.
Daisy smile and said Kathy you are acting like a wife. Now if one of your patents came in and said they woun't sleeping what would you do.
I would asked them have they been under alot of stress latly and I would also tell them that if it keeps up they could land in the hospital.Kathy Said Well theres your answer . Stop acting Like Luke's wife and start acting Like his doctor. Daisy Said. Daisy you might be right. Kathy Said. Then She walked out the door. Boss hogg and Lulu was leaving. Kathy went to the barn. and Luke was sill sitting down and Bo Looked up at her. and by looking at Kathy's face he knew she wanted to talk to Luke in privite. So he said I'am going in the house to get a cold Glass of lemonaid do you want one cousin. No thanks bo. Luke said . Then Bo walked out of the barn and walked towards the house.

Kathy Walked to him and said Luke we need to Talk. I 'm worried about you cause you haven't been sleeping. Kath I'm fine. Don't worry. Luke said Luke. IF you don't get enought sleep you could get sick.Kathy Said. Kath, I can't get to sleep I have the family to take care of. Luke said Sweetheart, You ain't gonna be any good to us

Unfortunetly friends Kathy's talk didn't work so then they went back into the house Luke saw Bo sitting at the table with Daisy so he walked over to them said " Is Y'all talking about me ?", Bo said " Well Actually Luke we is were worried about you cuz ", Then Luke said " Bo i'm fine okay look it was just a little dizzy spell nothing happened so don't worry",So then Bo just sighed went to back to talking to daisy about what is behind Luke's unhealthy sleep pattern latley Daisy then had a thought she said " Hey Bo what if Luke ain't getting enough sleep because of the stress of taking care of the family now that Uncle Jesse is gone "? Then Bo said " Daisy that could very well be it but you know Luke he can be pretty stubborn .

So Meanwhile Luke was looking at old pictures of Uncle Jesse while Kathy was telling Ross about the day her and Luke met how happy she was to have met some one like Luke who she loves just to death how hurt she would be if she ever lost him ", Meanwhile Luke was enjoying going through all the old memories of when his beloved Uncle Jesse was around

Luke was so taken by the pictures that he didn't hear Bo come up " hey Cuz what's you lookin' at "? Luke said " Oh some pictures of me , you , and Daisy when Uncle Jesse was still around but i can't take lookin' at them anymore i just miss him too much ", then Luke put the album away then he asked Bo if he wanted to go take the boys out camping ", Bo said " That would be great Luke only um with the way you've been sleeping lately i just don't know if you would have the energy to hike , hunt, and to do some fishing Luke was about to reply but he Yawned instead Bo then looked at him funny he said " Cuz i want you to go lay down and sleep", Luke tried to talk his way out of going up but Bo wouldn't hear any of it .

So Luke went up to take his nap which he really didn't think it would help
but he knew Bo would not be happy with him if he found out that he didn't take a nap so he took his boots off then he climbed on his and Kathy's bed
not long after he got cozy under the covers his nights of restless sleep started to catch up to Luke he found himself fallen asleep .

Meanwhile Bo was making his way upstairs to take his shower he was trying to be quite so he won't wake Luke up cause he wants his Cousin to get a good sleep so he won't be exhusted later today but before he got into in shower he took a little peak at Luke he saw the he was lying bed snoozing away so then he slowly shut the door so he wouldn't wake his Cousin up so then he went into the shower to start his day and a little later today Bo is planning on taking Ross his nephew fishing .

Balladeer : Boy was little Ross lookin' forward to going fishing at Hazzard Pond even though later today Luke will be facing a close call due to his lack of sleep .

Meanwhile Kathy was awful worried about her Luke it would kill her if he ended up in the Hospital which was what her biggest worry is a little later this morning she is gonna be seeing if he has fallen asleep and listened to Bo on accont the fact the wouldn't hear her.

Kathy Tells Daisy she will be right back cause she wants to check on Luke. So Kathy went upstairs to her and Luke's room. She opened the door and she checked on him. and she thought to herself Man how she loved that man and it would kill her if something should happen to him. But he's so stubren. She quilty closed the door. and went back downstairs and told everyone that Luke was sleeping.

Meanwhile In Kathy and Luke's room. Luke was starting to wake up. He sat up on the bed. and he felt alittle dizzy. but he sat there for a little bit. and then he got up. and he started to walk the stairs.
Ross said Uncle Luke is up that means we can go fishing now.
But Luke started to get dizzy again and he was having trouble seeing everthing looked blurey and then his foot slippedand he went tumbleing down the stairs.
Bo seen him fall and ran right to him. He said Luke When he didn't answer Bo called to Kathy and Kathy ran to Luke She said Daisy Call an ambulance. Then she checked Luke's back Neck and head everything seemed find but she couldn't be sure until he gets to the hospital.

AT THE HOSPITAL..
Kathy,Bo Daisy,Judd, Coy ,Vance,Jeb,Michael, Jessica and Ross was waiting in the waiting room to see how Luke was. Kathy was thinking I knew this was going to happen Bo walked up to her and put his arms around her and said Don't worry Luke is a fighter he will be all right.

Just then the doctor came into the waiting room and said Mrs Duke. and Kathy got up along with the rest of the family. Your huband is a very lucky man. he has no head injerys and his back and Neck are fine. but his Left leg is fracture and he had 3 broken ribs.I Gave him some pain medicain cause of his ribs. he might be a little disorented .The doctor said. Then Kathy went into see him.

IN LUKE'S ROOM..
Kathy walked in and Luke seen her. and he said well hello beautiful. Kathy Smiled and walked over to him and said Luke Duke don't you ever scare me like that again. Luke just smiled and said come here. so Kathy bent down and Luke Kissed her. at that moment Bo walked in along with the rest of the family and said Yup he ain't hurt too bad he's kissing his wife.

While Jessica, Michael and Little Ross our talking with Luke , all of sudden Jessica faints in the same as Luke is in and them Michael asks Ross if he can go get a docter or a nurse or somebody. Ross is really worried about his mother right now and he trying to stay calm and he then sees Doc Applebee and tell him what happen with his mother. Michael and Luke is wandering what is ailing Jessica, she didn't sick before everything happened and this looked serious.

Michael is thinking about where he has seen Coy Duke around before and then he remembered there was a Texas Ranger Coy Duke that teamed up with the Border Patrol and that they were after some big case and that both were agruing over who's bust it was. Michael had asked Coy if he had remembered him from California and that he thinks he seen him on the job before. Ross had the Doc Applebee and and Nurse in the room looking at his Mama, and Michael looked worried for his wife and that the Doc had said let rule other thing out first Michael. And Michael had asked what he thought it was at first and the Doc saided quietly "Well, it could be with all the excitement with everthing going could be your wife is pregant." Michael was smiling he was happy at the thought of another baby in his family and then Luke had heard this as well. Michael couldn't believe this here first he finds his family and then maybe another baby.

Ross had now gotten wind of what the docter said about his Mama, and he goes storming out saying something about he don't want no little brother or little sister right now. That he is enough for his parents right now and that he wasn't going to stand for this right now. Of course Ross still wanted to go fishing at the Hazzerd Pond and he was wandering who was going take him fishing now. Ross had seen Bo walking in the hallway and he noticed he was watching getting mad about something and muttering about something as well. Michael right now was real concerned for his wife, and what It wasn't just her being pregant right now. What if she had something worst going on, the docter and nurse had her was running some test to see what was wrong and she was awake and didn't think anything of right now. She more concerned about where Ross had went to right now she had seen him run out of Luke's room mad as ever, you might even say a little jealous of something right now. Jessica always knew that her son had quite a temper and she had hoped he was better at controlling as he got older. She kind of thought that was his way of dealing with things that he didn't understand at the time.
Balladeer: Poor Luke, oh maybe good news for Jessica and Michael and Little Ross is darn right mad about something. I figure that kid is more of Duke then a Coltrane right now, he really wants to know what is going right about now. I guess I would like to know right now as well.

Michael had said to his brother that I thought that something was bothering my wife lately. She can usually handle the heat and that she gets mad at the drop of the hat, kind of like how she was when before and during she was expecting Ross. I remember somebody had got something when she was pregant before and that kid was practically in tears. And that's is the only time that my wife really has a temper and that it , otherwise nothing bothers her. Judd was asking our you going to stay in Hazzerd County Michael, and he had said that he has been meaning to talk to his wife about the subject lately but everything happening. You know before everything had happen Uncle Boss was telling about everything Bo and Luke had done before. I don't know what he was up to eariler and I was thinking here wouldn't that make him mad if decided to stay at Hazzerd right at the farm. You keep the family tradition going in all sorts , besides being with Border Patrol doesn't really suit me right now. And all the smog out in California and I would be closer to some of my family as well. You know Boss had said that looked like my Grandpa Coltrane and my wife said on the side to me that something about Boss Hogg she just didn't trust about him.
Just then Doc AppleBee comes in looking for Michael and tells him that he has real good news for him and Jessica. And she doesn't think it all that serious about what happened to her eariler here.

Luke Looked at Kathy and said Kath I'am sorry if I have been acting Crazy but when Uncle Jesse died and he left me in charge of the family I guess I kinda panicked and I was woundering I f you wanted to move back here to Hazzard. I know you could get a Job here At Tri-County and we could start a family. Kathy Smiled and said Luke I would Love to Live in Hzzard and start our own family then she Kissed him.

Michael had said that he so happy right now about Jessica being pregant. Michael said that they had told that Jessica would never get pregant again and that the first time was a fluke. Everybody understood why Michael was so happy and surprized when he had the good news about Jessica. But this does bring up one question where is Ross and why is Ross so mad about the baby now. Bo was out in the hall talking to Ross trying to get him realize that a little brother or sister was great. After a while Ross did see the plus sign in a new baby and he went running in where his Mama and Papa was and said that he wanted a brother and sister. He didn't had seen so many happy faces in that room and his parents had wondered what Bo had said to him to change his mind.

Michael had asked Jessica what if wesay in Hazzerd Honey. The place is growing on me now and all this family it would be nice to have our child born in the same place I was born at. Besides before, I didn't have any family and now I got two older brothers, cousins and one is a Texas Rangers in which I know I have worked with before Coy just didn't know you was my cousin before, honest. And here is another plus sign on this right here well you'll be closer to Petty's this way and look at all the cousin that Ross is going have around. Bo had said to Ross no jumping the Hazzerd Creek till your at leat sixteen and got a car, and everybody had seen Ross look and ask I know I could make on my bike though. Jessica had said that smog in L.A. is really getting to me you know what I mean, and if Hazzerd is what you want Michael Frank Szenger then Hazerd is just fine with me as well.

2 WEEKS LATTER.. Kathy and Luke went back to Chicago and sold their house there and Quit their Jobs. Then they went back to Hazzard.

BACK IN HAZZARD.... Luke and Kathy drove up to the farm. and Michael, Jessica and Ross pulled up be side them they went into the houseand got settled in. Then Michael walked up to Luke and said Luke right before you went into the hospital My Uncle JD stopped by and he told me some things about You and Bo and I would like to know if it's the truth... Luke looked at Michael and he could tell that this really bother Michael. So Luke said Tell me what Boss said to you.

Michael and Jessica was happy that all his family was happy for him and his good news, but how was he going to tell Jessica about how he really got fired for something a jealous co-worker and his buddy cooked up to get rid of him. Michael didn't even tell his Uncle Rosco about his troubles right now, what his Uncle think of this pickle he was in right now. Little Ross was estatic about the new little brother or little sister he didn't want his son knowing what really happened to him at his job. He remembers Harry talkie to a Hughie Hogg about a week before he was fired and they did sure seem like they was in a hurry. He had wandered did Harry and Hughie see his letter from his Uncle , is that what had caused all this to happen in the past week. Michael had asked Luke have you haerd of somebody named Hughie Hogg around here, and he got sttrange look from everybody as if they knew who he was talking about it at the time. He had went on to tell him that his buddy Harry is who Jessica dumped when she had met he that fateful on the side of the road and we just happen to work at the same place years later.

Well, he told he about the One-Armed Bandits, and about the about the taxi incident and some other things. Ross had asked Luke can I ride in your car Uncle Luke sometime. Jessica had told Ross did you know that was a pair of brother involved in something real important back in 1788 and they had to take their horses to help with writing something important and they had to keep it real quiet. Ross was real curious by now and Jessica said those brothers were "Richard Henry Lee" and Francois Lightfoot Lee" and they was helping with Declaration of Independance and they had signed this little thing on the botton of it with a bunch of other gentleman as well , Ross.

Luke said Ya Ross you can ride in the General Lee as soon as I/am able to drive. and I think I still owe you a fishing trip down at Hazzard Lake. Mabe your Dad would like to go with us. Michael Said I would love to go. and then the men statarted to make plans to go fishing.

Kathy wasn't feeling too well she was getting sick and she was getting dizzy. Jessica walked over to her and said Kathy are you ok. Iam fine I have just been running raggied sence Uncle Jesse Died and it's my body is tell me to slow down. Kathy Said Are you sure. you could be pregnet. cause I felt the same way when MY FIRST trimester with Ross. and I haven't felt sick with this baby. Jessica said as she touched her stomach.

Ross had asked his Uncle Luke why is the car named "General Lee anyways, Uncle Luke. Dad, always has some choice word is his car doesn't6 start up. I am beginning to think that he named his car a word that Mom doesn't like me saying around anybody."
Michael looked at Ross and told him , that it isn't polite to snitch on somebody like that anyways. Michael had smiled down at his son and told him that his Mama was right about this right here. Jessica , Kathy and Luke thought this was kind of funny. Michael had said that Velvet is loving being around her Mama and is getting lots of friends around the house at his Uncle's Rosco house. Kathy had said that she didn't know they staying with Rosco, and how is at their house anyways. Jessica had said that she is hoping for a girl this time around and that Uncle Rosco and Aunt Lulu is so happy about the new baby coming. In fact Aunt Lulu is asking what colors do I want the baby blanket that she making for the baby. Michael had said that I guess she is just starting early on this baby, and Uncle JD had Ross over at his house last weekend you know they get along great but Jessica just doesn't like him right now.

Luke said Well, It takes a little while to get to know Boss. Uncle Jesse had known him for 30 years. They had run moodshin together. and they where friends at one time.

Kathy looked at Luke and said I will ne right back and she ran upstairs. then 2 minutes latter Kathy came back down Luke looked at her and said Sweetheart you ok. Y a Luke Iam fine. Kathy Said. Well Roos we named the General Lee after General Robert E Lee he was a General in the cival war a war between the states he was the General of the confrete Army.Luke said.

Uncle Luke was he related to Richard Henry Lee and Francis Lightfoot Lee that my Mom was talking about. You know those two brothers that went on that road trip to write some paper or something. I was just wandering on this right here, because they sound related and I still do like your car. But how your doors don't open on it I have noticed that as well. Michael couldn't believe his son asked that question to his brother and he was wandering as well , but didn't want to ask that right there. Michael and Luke couldn't help but laugh at what Ross said about how they got there and he was cute but five years old and sometimes you just to explain things to Ross just a little bit at times. Jessica had sigh and told Ross that back in 1788 they didn't have car yet, and there was only horses in those days.. Ross had said that would must have been cool to have been a part of that in those days, so this General Robert E. Lee is the guy you named your after Uncle Luke. Jessica had hoped that one this days her son would understand about history and if he loves history this much at five years old. School is going to be no problem for him, she won't have bug his to do his homework.

Luke looked at Ross and said The reason why the doors on the General Lee won't open is because Bo and I welded them shut you see General Lee is a race car and Doors on race cars are usrally welded shut, Uncle Jesse use to complain about the doors and he always threned to un welded the doors but he neved did. to get into the General Lee you have to go threw the window. when my leg is better I will show you. Ross looked at Luke and said Cool. and then he went outside to play.

mean while Kathy was thinking what Jessica had told her about being pregnet. So she decited to go see Doc Applebe to tommorrow and get a test done and then she will know for sure. She will asked Jessica if she wanted to go with her.

Jessica had asked Kathy does Luke know yet Kathy. Of, course I be glad to go with ya lets take that white pick-up over there and that. Besides who was that old truck over there anyways , I can't see the harm in driving. Ross was still excited about the General Lee and he was still talking to his dad and Uncle Luke about the fishing trip they was going on pretty soon. Ross has never been fishing before and in the two- three weeks he has been here has never seen Hazzerd Pond yet. Ross had heard his dad and Uncle says something about getting fishing license's and he had asked do you have to study and take a test for a fishing license. Michael had time couldn't believe what his son would come up with at times, he sure get along with Luke lately he has so many question for him and all the time. Luke sure did like Ross they got along great and he did mind all the question that he had for him.

It looks like the Duke family is getting larger, Ross sure does ask alot of question he is going fishing. Kathy might be pregant , and Jessica is for sure I hope I am keeping up with all this. Ross had remembered that his Uncle Bo and his Uncle Luke was taking him fishing. He still wanted to try jumping the Hazzerd Creek with his Bike. Even though his Uncle Bo said to wait till he had a car, It didn't sound that hard to the five year old boy. He wasn't scared of anything and besides this would be fun and exciting to do. But he wanted to wait until his parents stopped telling about that something might happen if he tried. But Ross had one problem he didn't know where the Hazzerd Creek was right now, maybe his Uncle Luke could tell where it is at. Oh Ross knew now he would get his Uncle Rosco to drive him and his bike there, oh stratch that he would follow his Uncle Ross out till Hazzerd Creek when he drives out there. And Beside it must be fun if everybody says not to do after all, they just trying to get him to not do this after all. He had seen his dad and he wanted his attention and he had said to "Rosco Jesse Szenger stop pulling all those tricks at your Uncle Rosco's house" and Ross had said dad but it fun and he never catches on to the tricks that I have been pulling anyways. Son all this trick you pulled on him when he came out to California wasn't very nice to do, especilly when my Uncle somehow lost the keys to house but you knew where they were and it was raining. Ross had said that part he wasn't expecting and that is where it backfired on him right there. Ross said " I should've listen to weather before I did that right there especially I ain't never Mom so mad at me that day, Dad." Well, me and your Mom and Uncle Rosco was mad at you for that trick but it was so fun pulling that trick on him. Ross what I am going to do about you, all you ever do is pull tricks on people and always trying to pull the wool over somebody eyes constantly. I just don't get I Never di think like that when I was I your age. Ross had said "Dad, you never pull trick on your parents at all, really.".

Meanwhile at Doc Applebe's office. Kathy was waiting for the Doc to come back and he walked to the door and he shut it and he said Congradulations Kathy You are Pregnet. Kathy Said Thanks doc and she went out to the waiting room and Walked towards Jessica and said I 'am Pregnet. and Jessica Gave Kathy A hug and said congraulations. and then they went back out to the truck and headed back to the farm.

Back at the farm.. Kathy stopped Uncle Jesse's truck bye the General Lee. Luke Was showing Michael the engin of the General Lee. and Luke looked up at Kathy and said What's up Sweetheart.Kathy walked over to him and took his hand and placed it on her stomach and said Luke I would Like you to meet your son or daughter. Luke looked at her and he smiled and said a baby. We are going to have a baby. Kathy shook her head yes and Luke Said YEEEHAAA.

Michael congradulated then and he said boy the Duke family is getting larger. They all laughted.
Luke looked at Kathy and said Kath you need to call your parents and tell them they are going to be grand parents AND your sister Tina that she's going to be an Aunt.

Jessica Said Kathy what do your parents do. Well they live in Chicago. Dad is a judge and Mom is a Lawyer. they wanted me to go into law infrcement but I wanted to become a doctor. My Parents names are names are Rebecca and Kyle Jorden My Sister is 20 and she's going to collage. and my parents Just love Luke and they will be thrilled about the baby.

So Kathy took her cell phone and called her parents. and they where really happy about the baby.and Kathy filled them in on what was going on in Hazzard, and they said that they would like to meet Luke's brother and that they would be there in Hazzard in a few weeks and Kathy Said Ok and she said she loved them and then she hung up.

Luke meanwhile was telling Bo how happy he was that he was gonna be a Daddy then Luke looked at Bo and said '' Bo do you think i'll be a good Daddy i hope i'm half as good as Uncle Jesse i would like to be i'm just so nervous but i'm so happy i feel like i'm walking on air this is such a good feeling cuz ".

Then Bo said " Luke i think your gonna do a good job every parent is at first nervous and scared your going through normal emotions but i'm really happy for you and Kathy i just wish that Uncle Jesse could be here to see this but i don't want you to be sad so try not to think of his death cuz", Then Luke chuckled " Thanks Bo i wish he was here too :( i miss him still but at least i have a new brother , now i'm gonna have a baby but i feel so mixed emotion i feel so happy but at the same time i feel so sad cause Uncle Jesse couldn't be here and i'm really gonna need alot of help when the baby comes .

Then Bo said " Well Luke i'll be here for you and Kathy when you have the baby and i just wanna give you something to think about " Could you consider raising your son or Daughter here in Hazzard that way i can see you cause if you move from Hazzard i'll miss you something awful .

Bo,Kath and I all ready Moved to Hazzard we live at the farm and I think that Michael and Jessica are thinking about moving to Hazzard.Luke said. That's Great Luke, I will be in Alanta in a few weeks cause I have a race there. Si I will see you then. Bo Said. Yuo Bet coz. Then he hung up and then he called Daisy . He told Daisy about the new Duke and she was excited and she said Oh Luke you will be a great Daddy. I hope so Daisy. Luke said. Then he hug up with Daisy and he called the rest of the family and told them about the new Duke coming and they where all where Happy.
