I just watch Ghost of General Lee and Granny Annie. I cried.
In Ghost of General Lee, I cried when Enos went into the lake and Rosco made a call on the CB. Also when Rosco told Jesse.
In Granny Annie, when Rosco was tied up and talking about Boss Hogg.
Have you ever cried during an episode?

It takes a lot to make Amanda cry, but Jam got teary eyed in Ghost of the General Lee.
Episodes that came close include that one and also that part of Granny Annie, as well as Enos Strate to the Top when Enos leaves and Enos and Daisy's Wedding (which has crying moments in it, but the end just makes us mad!)
Jam thinks James Best and Sonny Shroyer should have gotten Emmys for the scene by the pond in Ghost of the General Lee. It was just too good.

I so agree with them winning awards for those parts!
I also cried when bo and luke faught and jessie was giving bo advise about what he had to do in "carnival of thrills",where bo was crying as jessie told him he always had a home to come to!
I also cried when uncle jessie was in the hospital, after he fell looking for that bounty hunter(forget his name),who was hired by rosco to frame the duke boys in 10 million dollar sherrif!
When they all were in the hospital and bo was crying telling jessie to please wake up!

I completely broke down during Rosco's award-winning scene in Granny Annie...well, award-winning in my book, 110%. You can tell how genuinly kind and loving Rosco is, and geeez, even thinking about the scene chokes me up. James Best, you're the Best.

The Bounty Hunter's name was Jason Steele
That part made me weep a little. I think the most neat part about that episode was when Boss came to see his friend.

I'm a big softy, i cry alot!
I cried during the Ghost of General Lee during the pond scene, I'm crying now!
I cried during Carival of Thrills when Bo and Luke are fighting and after when Bo leaves. I also cried when Bo and Diane say goodbye.
I also got teary eyed when Bo hit his head in My Son Bo Hogg.
I was almost bawling in 10 milloin Dollar Sheriff when Jesse is in the hospital and Bo is crying, I just wanted to jump into the T.V. and hug them all and tell they'd be alright! And again I'm crying now! I thought Jesse was gonna Die!!!!
I was also moved in Dukescam Scam when Jesse and Boss were locked in the vault and thought they were gonna die!
See I'm a softy!!!

Amanda came close to crying in an episode (although she doesn't like to admit it). It was the one where Rosco lost his beloved Flash! When Rosco talks about how Saturday is her birthday and he had a king-sized bag of doggie num-num's already picked out...I don't think they'll take it back...wahhhh!
Sniff...it's so touching...
Also, about that episode. Is it just me? Or does the voice of Terry Lee sound a lot like Rocky the Flying Squirrel? You know, from the Bullwinkle Show? Is it the same voice? That voice, where have I heard that voice?

I usually cry at The Ghost of the Genearl Lee when Rosco tells Jesse that the boys are dead, and in Opening Night at the Boars Nest, I cried when they were looking in on Rosco who thought'd he'd really made his little fat buddy disappear and all the way to the end because it was "over" techinally. It just felt like the end of the whole show ya know. Thank God for CMT and the dvds!!! :D

I got teary eyed too in Undercover Dukes when Bo and Luke told Daisy and Uncle Jesse they were going back into the racing curcuit after Daisy was soooo proud that they said no at first. Then I was shocked when Daisy hit Bo in the face and elbowed Luke in the stomach!! It looked painful! :D

More of a question, but did I imagine it or was look looking awfully teary eyed in birds gotta fly as they were all walking daisy to the rv? I've also never been sure but thought Bo was crying when he left the farm in carnival of thrills and from reading this it was confirmed. My weepiest moment is when roscoe and enos think the boys have done gone in the hazzard pond and drowned.

Well, I haven't seen all of them yet, but I cried when flash got dognapped (although I knew she'd be all right), and cried about 5 times watching "Cool Hands, Bo and Luke". I hadn't seen the one where bo and luke got in some real bad car crash or something and rosco and enos thought they were dead or something....that's the one i'm waiting to see. And of course all the ones that I HAVEN'T seen :)

I've gotta say I can very close to tears in the end of Opening Night at the Boars Nest, when Rosco was tryin' so hard to get boss back he was almost cryin' when hey told him to try just one more time. And for me to come even close to tears takes alot, I didn't even cry when I broke my nose twice this summer, or my hand when I punched the wall and broke it, so that's gotta sya somethin' about that episode, and James Best is real good at cryin' on command, and makin' it look real.

Granny Annie: need I explain? If he gets teary, so do I.
Ghost of General Lee: same as above.
Witness: Jesse Duke: when Daisy is praying for Jesse's eyesight to come back. That made me cry.
Mrs. Rosco P. Coltrane: when that woman hurt him so.
These are just a few. I'm sure there are more, I just can't think of anymore right now. By the way, "he" and "him" refer to Rosco.

when Flash gets dognapped I bawl each time I see it. I cant help but think of what it must of been like for poor Rosco.
I really do love James Best. He is so great with his emotions.
And I havent seen the episode where Jesse is hurt and Bo is wanting him to wake up. What season is that?

Boy's Best Friend made me cry... still does, when he's talking about losing Flash and her birthday present...
Ghost of General Lee when Rosco tells Enos he cant help because he can't swim
Carnival of Thrills when Bo leaves after fighting Luke, and he's crying
Witness Jesse Duke (in the DVD version) when Daisy's praying about Uncle Jesse
Brotherly Love "Dangit Luke you you wake up?!"

The Ghost of the General Lee was pretty tough to watch. In fact, all these posts are good ones and I'd like to add two more that were extremly emotional but in a "tears of joy" type way.....When Bo and Luke came back from being gone a year ("Welcome Back Bo 'n Luke") and "The Great Santa Claus Chase" at the end when the Dukes accepted Boss into their home.

I cried at the Ghost of General Lee... I don't know who wouldnt...
I cried at Brotherly Love...when Bo is trying to wake Luke up...so sad...
And I remember when I was little like seven years old crying at My Son Bo Hogg and my brother calling me a dufus because of it. I was so sure Bo was really hurt...awwww.

In "Undercover Dukes" Uncle Jesse was saying good-bye to the boys. He thought they were going away on the NASCAR circuit for a long time (even though the viewer knew better). Thanks to closed-captioning (which isn't always accurate) I found out what he said while fighting back his tears and giving them hugs.
To Luke he said "Bye, little boy"
To Bo he said, ""Bo baby, now, you be good"
Since I have a 5 year old grandson I can imagine myself flashing back to when he is this size sometime in the future if I ever have to say good-bye to him. I hope I'll be able to hold it together like Jesse did. Can you you imagine the picture Jesse must have had in is his head at the time, imagining the boys running around on the farm as little tikes.

the ghost of general lee, whenever Enos pulled up their clothes and he asked rosco to help him and rosco said he couldnt swim, it was a tear-jerking moment lol. i actually cried in luke's love story, whenever he had told amy, i think if im right, that he wanted to be serious with her oe sumthin like that she couldnt see anyone else buthe could, i dont know i proabaly screwed that up some how, if i did, someone please correct me lol, but whnever she got up and walked out with that other man leaving Luke there, i was like awwwww. and when bo and luke left and coy and vance cmae on the show, i cried then cause daisy started to cry saying how much she'd miss bo ad luke and sayin that coy and vance just wasnt like them. then you have those little heart warming moments like when boss and uncle jesse was locked in the vault together.
