I know John's daughter's name is Karis and they call her Biscuit... But what about his other kids? What are their names and how old are they... Does anyone know where I can find pictures?

Hey Bethie! I found the info you were looking for at the internet movie database site. John's children are (from oldest to youngest) Karis (Biscuit), Chasen, and Leah. Boy, Elly is sure one lucky lady! I'm pretty sure Leah is John's only biological child to Elly, he adopted Karis and Chasen.

My little cousin has that. His doctors say his head is like a radio on thousands of different stations at one time. He doesn't see or understand things the way kids his age do. Like he tells jokes that make no sense to us but they do to him, and he takes everything very literal. Its sad

Karis has to be his biological daughter, in the commentary on One Armed Bandits, he comments on how much he looks like his daughter at certain points.

I was able to hook friends up with an interview w/John about the Children's Miracle Network & found out his uncle also had Cerebral Palsy like I have I'm going to DukesFest so I'm very excited about meeting John. My friends had told him about me and he called me his miracle child. I will have to ask John if he knows about Hydrocephalus. :D

Actually, Karis is John's youngest child and the only child who is biologically his. She is 11. Leagh and Chasen are his other children. Leagh is the oldest. Both Leagh and Chasen are Elly's kids from a former marriage. They are John's step children. I can't remember what website I was on where I got the info. but I can tell you that I read from an interview that someone did with John and posted, so I know it was accurate because it John's words. Will look up the source and post it if you would like.

My younger brother had a twin brother but he was a either a stillborn or died five minutes after he was born. But he had what they had said was water on the brain, Douglas who is younger brother his twin that died was Chad Lee. But, this was back in 1978 I wonder if they now if a baby is born with that if that baby would make nowadays.

Technically, Karis is his oldest child because she's his only biological child! But Leah and Chasen are Elly's from a previous marriage. He's their stepfather. And he's also an adoptive father to his nephew.

Ok I really don't know anything about John's kids but I'd like to respond to some things about 'water on the brain' or hydrocephilis. To Julie's post about 1978 they had a way of preventing it after birth it doesn't kill babies. I know several people who have it I myself was thought that I might have it when I was born in 1979 so the doctor's put in a shunt which if you don't know is a tube with a pump attached in the head just under the skin with tubing that drains to another area of the body because the spinal cord doesn't drain the fluid from the brain like it should. Well that's my quick lesson on hydrocephilis just thought it should be cleared up that they knew ways of 'fixing' it and immediate death from it specifically didn't happen then or now.

Okay, I've got info from a fan of his that has actually MET John, so this info is authentic, it's real. John doesn't have any kids from his first marraige, he and Tawny never had any kids.

Leah and Chasen are John's stepkids, I heard that he actually adoped one of them (I'm not sure which one it is though, I wasn't given that info, but I'm pretty sure it's Chasen.) However, Karis is John's ONLY biological child, he took in Elly's nephew Andre, a couple of years ago, I'm not sure why (some other info I wasn't given) but he has 4 kids, either adopted or, step or biological children, from oldest to youngest the list is: Leah, Andre, Chasen and Karis. I'm not sure of thier exact ages, but I know Leah is in her early 20's Andres is either 17-18 Chasen is 15-16 and Karis is 12-13.

Alright. First off: Aspergers is like a mild form of autism. BUT theres a difference. Okay, if a kid has Aspergers, he/she is often confused with being bipolar or having ADHD. If someone has Aspergers, they tend to take in alot of information about certain things. Like.... my brother has it, and he soaks up alot of information about science, he can spot a mustang GT or Volkswagon Bug a mile away, among many other things. Some tend to have problems with learning. NOW Aspergers, anyone can live with it, they can live off on their own, and take care of themselves, and be independant. They are actually pretty normal, except in the sense that they have small problems. Obsession, repetitive behavior, stuff like that. SO dont get the wrong idea when someone meantions Aspergers, a person with it really isnt all that different from a person who doesnt.

Secondly: I dont know if this has been established yet, I just read the first page and replied,lol. Leah and Chasen are Elly's kids from her first marriage. Leah is the oldest, and I cant remember how old she is. Chasen is about 16 or 17. John adopted them after he married Elly. Then, about a year after they got married, they had Karis, who will be 13 this year.

Everyone got that??? Now its all been cleared up if it wasnt before, lol

Actually, Karis is his only biological child. Leah and Chasen are from Elly's previous marriage. I think Chasen is 15 and Leah is somewhere between 20 ans 22. Karis just turned 13 on June 13. lol 13 on the 13th.:p
