i just passed my driving test here in the uk so i am now looking for a car to use as a basis for a general generation 2 car

does anyone have any reccommendations for what to get in the uk, but is cheap to insure

y'all in the usa have it great - cheap insurance an all

in the uk, at 17 the cheapest you can pay is about £1500 (about $2900)

and that is for a pile of flash droppings like a 1970's fiat panda

i really want a general - any suggestions?
