Ain't nothin' like the life of a Hollywood stuntman!

Plus, it co-stars Jimmie Best.

Gotta love it.

Yes! Cully!

Cully (walking into the Palomino toward Sonny): If yer still mad I can just leave and...

Sonny: Aw shut up and sit down.

Cully: Kinda early in the mornin' for that hard stuff ain't it?

Sonny: I'm workin' out. I'm doing my left arm this morning (lifts glass), I'll get around to my right arm this afternoon.

ROFL

"You oughta drink more. Nothin' hurts when yer numb." -- Jocko.

"Thank you very much! We'll be right back. Stick around, get drunk and be somebody! Thank ya..." -- Singer at the Palomino

The fight scene at the Palomino is worth the price of admission. ROFL

"Holy %*$@! A fight!!" -- Hammerhead.

"It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Super Hooper!" -- Jocko (as Sonny goes flying over the upright piano)

I better stop before I type all the dialog. ROFL

Great film!

It also emphasized good ol' Coors beer and a Pontiac Trans-Am....I wonder where else did Burt Reynolds promoted Coors beer and a Trans-Am ???? LOL......

Flippin' through the channels awhile back, Cybil was on. Tom Wopat's character Jeff was singing in a bar and there was a fight scene ala Hooper. Guest starring in that episode... Burt Reynolds and Hal Needham!

=) A neat tribute to a very enjoyable movie.

James Best sings the Hooper theme song " A Hollywood stuntman."

http://www.bentmyggen.com/hist2orig.html credits Bent Myggen. Although, that would've been kewl if James Best had sung it. =)

Jimmie Best doesn't sing the theme song.

He always is the bad guy
Who gets it in the end
He's out there stoppin' horses
Or holdin' off a train
He never won a gunfight
A squabble or a brawl
For bein' such a loser
Hooper's really got it all

You can toss him
Blast him
Flip him n' turn him
Shoot him, hang him
Bury and burn him
Chances are Hooper's back for more

Run him out across the ground
Take a truck, run him down
He ain't easy
He's up and gone

You can hit him
Kick him
Generally abuse him
Set him on fire
Will amuse him
Heaven knows
He won't hold a grudge

He'll look you in the eye
And tell you with a smile
There ain't nothin' like the life
Of a Hollywood stuntman

Some folks used to tell him
He ought to settle down
Find a steady woman
Land a job in town
Somehow that attraction
Never seemed too great
Ya always see him leavin'
Just before it gets too late

Goin' down the highway
Barely on the ground
Never under eighty
Judgin' from the sound
Later in the evening
Tearin' up the town
Always seems to end up
With the prettiest girl around

You can toss him
Blast him
Flip him n' turn him
Shoot him, hang him
Bury and burn him
Chances are Hooper's back for more

Run him out across the ground
Take a truck, run him down
He ain't easy
He's up and gone

You can hit him
Kick him
Generally abuse him
Set him on fire
Will amuse him
Heaven knows
He won't hold a grudge

He'll look you in the eye
And tell you with a smile
There ain't nothin' like the life
Of a Hollywood stuntman

He'll look you in the eye
And tell you with a smile
There ain't nothin' like the life
Nothin' like the life
There ain't nothin' like the life
Of a Hollywood stuntman, stuntman, stuntman, stuntman

Great film

As you say; James Best

Plus;
Jan Michael Vincent (Air-Wolf)
Adam West; as himself (the TV Batman)

The closing sequence was certainly a one-taker, it'd be too much to rebuild
:D

In the movie that fight scene that they had did when Bo puts on that helmet reminds me more of the fight scene in Hooper at the club.
