She'll probably be Lulu Hogg!!!! :D

Now that's interesting. This Gainey dude was on Bad Day in Hazzard.....was he the one that ended up wearing the Sheriff's uniform?? How ironic is that?? ROFL

Even though Rosco has been cast already, I thought of a great actor to play Rosco... Christopher Guest. He has the comedic talent and can do a fair southern accent. Whaddya'll think?

Its just my opinion...but that guy doesn't look like he would make a good Roscoe. It sounds kinda wierd but...he doesn't look like he could throw insults like ole Roscoe! :)

With the movies and roles he has played, he seems tobe more of a meaner character. Maybe that is the direction they are going with Roscoe for the movie....Let's hope not...

The early rumors that I heard regarding the casting of Lynda Carter was that her character was to be "Jesse Duke's girlfriend". Has anyone else heard this?

I think Jeff Foxworthy would've been a good roscoe too. I think Larry the Cable Guy would make a good Cledus.

I just read an article about the movie on MTV.com. They said they were going to make Roscoe less "hokey" and the laught would be gone.. I just can't imagine an uptight Roscoe. He always made me laugh. What are the dukes with "Dipstick" and "Goo, Gi Gi"

The article had some new pix also.

Yeah... MC Gainey "No disrespect to the original but that was hokey."

NO %*(!$* Sherlock!!! It was supposed to be you dipstick!!! Jit!!

Frankly, they're probably having Rosco serious because they couldn't find an actor to properly protray Rosco. Kudos to James Best for breaking the mold. KHEE!
