Hey Y'all

Did anyone watch the Outlaws concert on CMT ? Hank Jr, Kid Rock, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich , Lynyrd Skynyrd, James Hetfield (Metallica)Montgomery Gentry, Shooter Jennings, Jessi Colter, Tanya Tucker performed . It got me to thinking that this could be pretty much on what the Dukes movie soundtrack should have on it.
Kid Rock did a country version of Queen's Fat Bottom Girls ...I kinda liked it...the only performance I was not thrilled about was Tanya Tucker singing Me And Bobby McGee....
Any other thoughts on this concert??

After watching it a couple of times the only one , in my opinion- which I know don't mean anything, was Gretchen Wilson. Hank Jr did a great job also.

Come on Hazzardnet, someone must have watched it........

You're welcome on the link, Darrell =)

Unfortunally, missed the program on the original airdate. But I should be able to tape one of the rebroadcasts. I did enjoy the photos and clips.

Darrell, I was so glad my husband just happened to click by that channel at the beginning of that show. I loved it! That is my kind of country music. I miss the old days on the radio when Waylon and Hank Jr. ruled.

In the episode, I especially liked Hank and Jessi doing Waylon's "Good Hearted Woman" together.

You're right, that kind of music would be great in the new movie.

Did you see CMT's "Greatest Outlaws Dirty Dozen"? Waylon is the greatest outlaw singer. I miss his music.
