Nice car......I have always liked that body style on the Firebird/ T/A...Is that a red stripe along the middle of the body?

Here's a typical Hazzard style question....what have you gotten it up
to?

Thank ya Jax and Darrel. =)

The stripe is actually three pinstripes put close together.

What have I gotten it up to? LOL. Well, the speedometer only goes up to 85. (Compared to my Saturn which goes up to 110?!?!?!).

I've at least made it to 85. ROFL.

Don't worry about what the speedometer goes up to. Here's what you can do to figure out yer top speed.

Start with a full tank of gas. Then take your car out for a spin on the local Interstate highway. Get in the fast lane. Hammer it. Put it to the floor. Keep it there.

At some point, the friendly neighborhood State Patrol will kindly inform you of how fast you were going. And then you'll know your top speed.

Always worked for me!

I've gotten my Trans Am up to... uh.. well, let's say that the speedometer goes up to 150 and I've gotten it up to 87% of that. Do the math. And it figures that when I DO get a speeding ticket, it's when I'm only going 10 miles over the limit, eh?

MaryAnne,

Do not attempt going near the 110 mph mark with your Saturn. At some point, your radiator will bust!!! Trust me. I work at the plastic injection molding factory that makes the two plastic tanks on both sides of it. They're not meant to take the abuse!!! Plus, you do have a chance they were made by me!!!

So, what are you saying? That your craftsmanship is shoddy??

Well I certainly had no intention of trying to push it to 110.....and sure as hell ain't gonna try it now!! ROFL.

I'm not saying that my craftmanship is shaddy, it's just that this company is not ass-backwards, it's back-asswards.
Everybody has an opinion about what is a passable part or not. I've got everybody telling me what to keep or throw out.

And as to Delphi, in which who we supply, no one knows what's going on with them. They've got their own problems to deal with.
