Does anyone know which car would be faster General Lee or Kitt?
I would think General but with all that was done to Kit I don't know.

Depends. If you mean in the ficticious TV world, KITT by the largest margin in history (may I remind you in a drag race against a Camaro KITT hit 60 a second after the start gun?). Now in reality, the General by a mile. The 80s Trans Ams just didn't have the same quality stuff the 60s cars had.

Kitt in the ficticious world was faster than any other car ever - 300+ mph - because his engine and entire system was completely different than a normal car's. I think it was related more to the turbine of a jet. Like was said previously though, for *realistic* cars the General's the best I know.

I think in the real world without any modification's the General would beat the Trans Am hands down!!!

I agree. In the TV world, unfortunately, KITT would kick the General's ass. I mean, I'm a huge Dukes fan, but KITT is made of like, special armor, or something, that nothing can damage, hell, you can't even shoot out his tires! lol And if I remember from the show, I think his top speed is over 300 MPH? Plus he doesn't need a ramp to make a jump, and he has weapons! But in the real world the '69 Charger R/T (one that was running good and fixed up nice) would outrun and outperform the '84 Trans Am, in my opinion.
