Sunday, July 13, 1980 - Early morning hours

On a beautiful morning in mid-July, Vicki stares wearily at the crystal clear lake. *What a beautiful morning* thought Vicki as she was casting her reel into the lake.

The 18-year-old redhead was enjoying the last day of her vacation in style. Spending it with her family at Mountain Creek Lake near the Tennessee border in Chickasaw County.

After not getting a bite on her line, Vicki sighs loudly as she moves to a different spot on the boat.
"You're not having any luck getting a bite?" asked her mother Mary.
After her mother asked her, Vicki sneezed very loudly.
"Blesh you," said Pam. "Thanks," said Vicki, blowing her nose on her tissue.
"I take it that you didn't get a bite?" asked Mary. "No," said Vicki, wiping her nose.

"Are you feeling any better, little sister?" asked Pam a few minutes later.
Vicki gave Pam a dirty look before answering her. "Well thanks to your boyfriend & his cousin, I am just now getting over the flu."

Pam giggled at her sister, but then gave her back a dirty look. "Luke had the flu over a month ago, and I don't think that it was his fault for you being sick."

Vicki giggled back at her sister as she was reeling her line in. Then she was stroking her reddish-brown hair back into a ponytail. "Well, it was probably my boyfriend's fault that I got sick anyway. Bo got the flu right after Luke had it, and he probably gave it to me."

Pam giggled back at Vicki. "Yeah, it was your boyfriend instead of mine that got you sick," she said as she placed her hand on her sister's shoulder.

"Are y'all ready to head back towards the cabin?" asked Mary. "Yeah, I still need to pack before we head home," said Vicki as she was walking off the boat dock.

A few minutes later, the girls were walking slowly back to the cabin.

Pam turned on her small battery power CB.
"Let's see if I can get my knight to talk to me on the CB."
"We can't get out of the state without you calling Luke," said Vicki sarcastically as she blew her nose.
"I can't help it that I miss Luke," said Pam with a smile then added, "I bet that you miss Bo too." *More than you ever know* thought Vicki smiling at her sister as she backed away as she heard Luke's voice sassing back into the CB.

Meanwhile, back at the farm, Bo's dark blue eyes widen as he was listening to Luke talk to Pam on the CB.
*I need to check on my sweet angel. I miss her sweet voice so much* thought Bo as he was getting a drink of coffee.

Not wanting to interrupt them, Bo nudged Luke's arm. "Sweetie, hold on," said Luke into the CB mike. "Okay," said Pam as she sat down on a porch swing.

"What is it, cousin?" asked Luke turning to Bo. Pam realized that he still had the CB mike button pushed in, so she overheard Bo & Luke's conversation.

"Can I talk to Vicki for a minute?" asked Bo, grinning at his cousin.
"Sure, how come?" asked Luke.

Bo took a deep breath then added excitedly,
"Because I miss her and love her very much."

"I knew that you couldn't go a whole week without talking to your girlfriend," said Luke, grinning at Bo.
"It's only been 2 days, Luke."
"That is probably your record without talking to Vicki," said Luke, laughing at his cousin then added back to Pam into the CB, "Sweetie, I'm going to have to let you go. My cousin wants to say hello to his girlfriend."
"Sure, that's fine! I need to go pack to go home anyway. We'll be home later this afternoon," said Pam with a smile as she walk inside the cabin.

"That's good. Come over when y'all get home," said Luke with a smile.
Bo took the CB mike away from Luke then added into the CB mike, "Pam, you make sure that you bring that beautiful little redhead sister over here with you. I miss her too much."
"Sure, Bo. Hold on a minute and I'll let you talk to her yourself," said Pam with a smile into the CB mike as she headed towards the bedroom. "Great!" said Bo excitedly into the CB mike.

A few minutes later, Pam found Vicki in their bedroom at the cabin lying down on the bed. She noticed that Vicki had tears in her eyes.

"What's wrong, little sister?" asked Pam. Turning her red head away from her, Vicki sneezed very loudly.

"Nothing is wrong, Pam. I'm just a little tired," said Vicki as she noticed that Pam was holding the portable CB behind her back.
*What's going on now? What has her & Luke shuck-n-jive me into doing now?* thought Vicki to herself.

"You sound awful," said Pam, watching Vicki blow her nose.

"I'll be alright in a minute. I just took some aspirin," said Vicki as she noticed that Pam gave her the portable CB then added, "I take it that I have a CB call?"

"How did you know?" asked Pam in shock.
Vicki smiled at her sister. "Because I heard you talking to Luke outside on the porch, and I heard Bo's voice in the background. He told you that he wanted to talk to me."

"Do you feel like talking to him or wait until we get home?" asked Pam.

Smiling, Vicki walked away from her sister with the portable CB. "I'm going to go ahead and talk to him right now. I miss him too much."
"That's exactly what Bo said about you," said Pam, giggling as she watch Vicki walk out on the front porch.

"Hey, Little Red. This is your handsome prince. Come back," said Bo nervously into the CB mike.
"Hi, Lost Sheep. This is Little Red. Come back," said Vicki into the CB mike.

"Hey, sweet angel! I miss hearing your voice. How are you feeling?" asked Bo.
"I'm feeling a lot better than I did a few days ago since the last time I talked to you on the CB," said Vicki cheerfully into the CB mike.

"Yeah, you sound a lot better, sweetheart. When are you coming home so we can be together?" asked Bo excitedly.

Vicki looked at her wristwatch. It was almost noon. She knew that if she left right now, she could be home in less than 2 hours.
"How about in a couple of hours. I'm done packing now, and we are getting ready to leave the lake."

"Sweet Angel, if you are feeling better, would you & Pam like to come over later this afternoon and have supper with us?" asked Bo.

Vicki's blue-gray eyes lit up brightly.
"That sounds like fun. Of course I will come over. I'll have Pam bring me over later this afternoon."
"YEE-HAW, Little Red! I can't wait until you get here so I can tell you how much I really missed you!" said Bo excitedly.
Vicki giggled as she heard Bo's wildly rebel yell in the background.

Pam walked outside with the suitcases after hearing the commotion over the CB.
"Vicki, what did you tell Bo?" asked Pam.
Vicki smiled at her sister as she got into the passenger side of the mustang. "Well, Bo asked me over for supper tonight at the farm, and I accepted," said Vicki excitedly.

As Pam pulled the blue mustang out of the driveway leading up to the cabin, Vicki continued her conversation with Bo over the CB. "Darling, do I take it that you're excited about me coming over?"

"What do you think, my sweet angel? I can't wait to have you in my arms again," said Bo laughing excitedly into the CB mike.
"I know, darling. Neither can I. But I'm happy to tell you that we will probably be home in about an hour. We just left the lake," said Vicki cheerfully into the CB mike.
"YEE-HAW, Sweet Angel!" said Bo excitedly into the CB mike.
Vicki giggled and Pam looked wide-eyed at her sister as they heard Bo's wildly rebel yell over the CB again.
"That's a big 10-4, Little Red. If you don't mind, I need to let you go, so I can get my chores done before you get here," said Bo excitedly into the CB mike.

"That's fine, Lost Sheep. I will see you in a couple of hours. We're gone," said Vicki, who was near tears as she put the CB mike down.
"Little Red, before I go, I need to tell you one last thing," said Bo into the CB mike nervously.
With her heart beating fast, Vicki picked the CB mike up. "Go ahead, sweetheart."
"Sweet Angel, I love you very much! I'm falling more in love with you everyday. I'm gone," said Bo as he put the CB mike up in the kitchen at the farmhouse.

Vicki's eyes widen as she heard those sweet words from Bo. "Vicki, what's wrong?" asked Pam in shock then added, "What did you tell him this time? If he does that yell one more time, I'm going to have Luke stuff a handkerchief down his throat!"

Wiping her tears away, Vicki puts a hand on her sister's shoulder. "I'm not really sure what I told him. I think that he's just excited that I'm coming home. Besides, I know an easier way of quieting my boyfriend down."

For the next few minutes, the sister drove home in silence. "Vicki, you never did answer my question a minute ago. Are you all right? You had tears in your eyes."
"I'm fine, Pam. I was just thinking about what Bo told me right before he got off the CB," said Vicki as a stray tear fell down her face.

"Did you hear what Bo said to you as you were turning off the CB?" asked Pam, smiling at her sister.

Vicki didn't respond to her. Instead, she looked outside the window, looking at the wildflowers, thinking about what Bo said. She then felt another tear come down her face. It was a tear of true happiness.

DUKE FARM - (About an hour later)

As Pam crossed the mustang back into Hazzard County, back at the farm, Daisy was watching her 2 cousins practicing their archery.
THONK! She smiled when she saw Luke hit the far-left side of the center of the target.

"Good shot, Luke!"
"Thanks, Bo, but I think that it could have been better," said Luke smiling at Bo as he picked up another arrow off the ground.

About 20 minutes later, Pam pulled the blue mustang up slowly in the driveway at the farm. Luke smiled when he noticed who was coming in the driveway.

"Hey, Bo! It looks like that we have company coming," said Luke, grinning at his cousin.
When Bo turned around, he grinned and waved at Pam & Vicki. He then whistled and let out a rebel yell when he saw Vicki.

Vicki giggled as she inspected herself in the mirror as her sister pulls the mustang to a stop behind the General Lee.
"Vicki, what did I tell you what I was going to do with him if he did that again?" asked Pam, giggling at her sister.
"Don't worry, Pam. I know what I'm going to do to him. I know an easy way of keeping him quiet," said Vicki, looking in her mirror as she noticed that Daisy, Luke, and Bo were heading towards them.

Vicki watched as Luke opened the car door and took Pam into his arms and kissed her passionately.
"Hey, Little Red," said Luke, not taking his eyes off of Pam after they separated.
"Hey, Luke! Where's that crazy leadfoot cousin of yours?" asked Vicki, looking around.
"I really don't know. He was right behind me. Maybe you should get out and start looking for him," said Luke, grinning as he started walking away from her.

As Vicki started to get out of the mustang, Bo peeked his blonde head inside the mustang and gave Vicki a long kiss on the mouth.
"Bo! You startled me! But, I liked it!" said Vicki, getting out of the mustang and pulled her boyfriend into her arms.
"So did you like that surprise, sweet angel?"
asked Bo, as he kissed Vicki sweetly.
"Yeah," murmured Vicki as they pulled apart then added, "It was the nicest surprise that I have ever gotten by you."

The couple walked in silence for a minute.
"I take it that you're glad to see me?" asked Vicki, looking into Bo's dark blue eyes.

Bo didn't respond to her. Instead, he pulled her into his arms and kissed Vicki long, hard, and swift.

Vicki smiled at Bo as they pulled away from each other. "Do you want to get my cold and get sick again?"

"Sweet Angel," said Bo as he kissed her deeply then added, "All I want is to be with you right now." "I feel the same way," said Vicki as she gave Bo a hug.

The couple pulled out of their embrace when they saw Pam, Luke, and Daisy watching them.
Luke has his arm around Pam laughed at the couple.
"Now I know where you two went. Y'all wanted to go somewhere and be by yourselves for a while," said Luke, patting Bo on his back.
"We just wanted to be by ourselves for a while," said Vicki, taking Bo's hand.
"Yeah, I haven't seen my sweet angel all week, and I wanted to show her how much I missed her and love her," said Bo, giving Vicki a kiss on the cheek.

Daisy giggled at her best friend as she pulled Bo away from Vicki.
"Okay, knock it off, you lovebirds! Let's go practice some archery," said Daisy, pulling Bo away from Vicki.

"Daisy, since when do you shoot?" asked Luke in shock.
"Luke, I've been taking lessons for a while now. My bows & arrows are in the back of "Dixie" right now," said Daisy as she was walking towards her jeep.

"Daisy, why don't you go get them so you can show us how good you are," said Bo sarcastically, grinning at his cousin as he was walking over to where Pam & Vicki were sitting down by the target.
"Sure, I'll be back in a minute," said Daisy as she walked over to her jeep.

Watching Luke aiming his arrow at the target, Vicki gasped in shock as she watched a stray arrow, coming out of the trees, towards Luke.

"Luke! Look out!" screamed Daisy as she watched in horror the stray arrow, shot out of nowhere by an unknown assiliant, hit Luke just above his shoulder, pinning him to a small tree behind him.

"Someone, HELP! I can't move!" yelled Luke, trying to free his arm from the arrow.

"Oh, my gosh! Luke!" screamed Daisy.
"Luke! Are you all right?" asked Pam as she and Daisy rushed over to the small tree where the arrow had Luke pinned.
"Yeah, darlin. I think so. I can't move or the arrow will go into my shoulder," said Luke worriedly to Pam.

"Cousin! What happened?" asked Bo, as he was pulling on the arrow, trying to free Luke.
In shock, Vicki started helping Bo by pulling on the arrow.

"I don't know, Bo. All I remember is that I was getting ready to shoot my arrow when an stray arrow hit me just above my shoulder," said Luke as Bo & Vicki finally pulled the arrow away then added, "Thanks you two."

"You're welcome, Luke!" said Bo, grinning at his cousin as he was helping Luke to his feet.
"Are you all right, Luke?" asked Vicki.
"Just dandy, Little Red. I wonder who that was trying to kill me with that arrow?" asked Luke.
"I don't know, Luke! But I'm going to do my best to keep an eye on y'all so that they don't try that again," said Vicki angrily as she looked around the farm for the unknown assiliant.

"I can believe that some jerk tried to kill you," said Daisy in shock to Luke.
"I know. I don't know what would have happened if that arrow would have been any lower," said Luke grimancing in pain as Pam doctored his nicked shoulder then added,
"Ow...Darling, that hurts!"

"Sorry, sugar," said Pam as she was putting a band-aid on Luke's shoulder then added,
"All I was trying to do was making you feel better."
"Don't worry, darling," said Luke as he puts his arms around his girlfriend then added, "I already do feel better."

Vicki looked around in the yard. "I'd think that whoever did this is long gone now. Let's do something to calm our nerves."
"That's a good idea, sweet angel," said Bo as he gave his girlfriend a hug.

"Do y'all want to continue to practice some archery to calm our nerves?" asked Daisy.
"Sounds like fun to me," said Luke as he & Pam walked over to Daisy, Vicki, & Bo.
"I would love to learn how to shoot an arrow," said Vicki excitedly.

"Sweet Angel, do you want me to show you how to shoot an arrow?" asked Bo, holding Vicki's hand.
"If you want to, sugar. I'm not very good at it yet," said Vicki, smiling at Bo.

"Daisy, do you mind if Vicki borrows your arrows for a minute?" asked Bo as he was helping Vicki drawing her arrow back.
Vicki giggled loudly as she felt her boyfriend's arms around her waist.
"Well, how about after I put the cake into the oven, then I will show Vicki the proper way to shoot an arrow," said Daisy as she was going inside the farmhouse.

"That's a good idea, cousin!" yelled Bo as he helped Vicki shoot an arrow into the target.

THONK! The arrow almost hit the center of the target. Pam & Luke's mouths dropped wide open in shock.

"Good shot, Little Red," said Luke, patting Vicki on the back.
"Thanks," said Vicki as she puts her bow on the ground.
"Vicki, where did you learn how to do that?" asked Pam, smiling at her sister.

"I give you one guess," said Vicki, giggling at her sister then added, "He has his arms wrapped around me right now."

Pam giggled back at her sister. "Yeah, I'll have Luke show me how to shoot an arrow too."
"You're on, darling," said Luke, pulling Pam into his arms and gave her a hug.

Watching her sister embracing her boyfriend, Vicki sighed loudly.
"Sweetheart," said Bo, kissing Vicki's neck lightly then added, "Turn you face a little to the right."

Just as Vicki was turning her face a little to the right, Bo brushed his lips against Vicki's lips for a few seconds.
"Good shot, sweet angel," said Bo as they pulled apart. "Thanks," said Vicki as they were walking down to the target, holding hands.

"Hey, Daisy! You have to come outside for a minute! You won't believe what Vicki just did with one of your arrows," said Luke, hollering inside the farmhouse.

"What is it?" asked Daisy as she came outside about a minute later, and picked up her arrows off the table.
"She hit the center of the target with your arrows," said Pam, smiling at Daisy.

"I don't believe it! She did hit the center of the target," said Daisy in shock, looking at the target.
"Yeah, thanks to your big cousin for showing me a relaxing way to shoot an arrow," said Vicki, smiling at Daisy as she puts her arms around Bo.

"Now, its my turn to shoot," said Daisy as she put her arrow into the slot and drew it back, making sure that the arrow was in there correctly.
"Show me how it is done the right way, although I personally preferred the relaxing way to shoot an arrow," said Vicki as she was eyeing Bo down.

Daisy walked over to where Bo & Luke were standing. "Do you gentlemen mind if a lady joins you?" asked Daisy sweetly to Bo & Luke.

Bo stepped aside, giving her room to shoot.
Luke winked an eye at Bo and looked at Daisy.
He bowed deeply and smiled at her.
"We would be honored!" said Luke, grinning at Daisy. Bo began to laugh, and Daisy rolled her eyes at him.
"Show them how to do it!" said Pam, giggling at Daisy.

Daisy aimed her arrow and released it.
THONK! Her arrow struck in the middle of the target and the boys' jaws dropped open.
"Daisy, how in the world did you do that?" asked Luke in shock.
Daisy smiled at Luke speechless.
"I don't believe it! She struck the middle of the target like you did, sweet angel!" said Bo in shock as he linked arms with Vicki.
"Yeah, she just showed you how to shoot an arrow the right way," said Vicki, giggling as she & Bo walked over to where Daisy, Luke, and Pam were standing by the target.

"Daisy, can you show me how to shoot like that?" asked Bo, several minutes later, still looking at the target in shock.
"Sure, honey! Come here," said Daisy, sweetly to Bo.

Bo walked over to Daisy and drew back his bow. Daisy tried to look through at his aim, but she found that she was too short.
"Daisy, what's wrong?" asked Bo as he was waiting for Daisy to help him with his shooting.

"Bo! You're too tall! I still can't see!" said Daisy, who was standing on her tip toes.
Bo began to laugh, and Luke joined him.
"Yeah, I know exactly how you feel, Daisy. Bo is almost a foot taller than me," said Vicki, who smiled at Bo. Bo smiled shyly at Vicki as Daisy took another look at Bo's aim.

"I still can't see! Luke, could you come here for a minute?" asked Daisy. Luke put down his bow and squatted down. Daisy then carefully got onto Luke's back and told Bo how to aim at the target.

After getting instructions from Daisy, Bo took his aim and released the arrow. It flew through the air and landed in the center of the target. THONK!

Bo's eyes dropped wide opened as he hit the arrow dead center of the target.
"YEE-HAW, I can't believe that I did that! Daisy, thanks!" said Bo happily as he pulled Vicki off the hay bale and started swinging her around playfully.

"Bo! Stop that! I'm getting dizzy!" said Vicki, giggling as she was clinging on to Bo's neck.
Bo laughed as he put Vicki back down on the ground. "Sweet Angel, I'll stop as long as you let me take you out later to Hazzard Pond."
"You're on," said Vicki, smiling at Bo as he gave Daisy a high five.

"I knew that you could do it, Bo!" said Daisy, giving Bo back a high five.
"Yeah, thanks to you, I know how to shoot my arrow better," said Bo, smiling at Daisy as he noticed that Luke & Pam were walking inside the barn.

Watching Luke & Pam walk inside the barn, Bo walked over to his girlfriend.
"Sweet Angel, do you want to go inside and watch Daisy put icing on the cake?"

Vicki smiled at Bo. "How about after we finished what we started earlier before we were rudely interuppeted."

Bo laughed as he pulled Vicki into his arms.
"You're on, sweet angel," he said as he kissed her deeply on the mouth. They stayed that way for the next 30 minutes.

A few minutes later as Bo & Vicki were walking inside the farmhouse hand-in-hand, Luke & Pam were watching the couple from the barn.

"Sweetheart, I don't think that it is a good idea for us to play a dirty trick on those 2 lovebirds. This is the happiest I have seen Bo in the last few months," said Luke as he watch the couple go inside the farmhouse.

"It's not like we're going to do anything wrong. Since it is your turn to clean out the stalls, I figured that we can talk him into cleaning out the stalls for us while we go swimming in Hazzard Pond," said Pam as she put her arms around Luke & kissed him.

Luke laughed as they pulled apart, putting his arm around his girlfriend. "Yeah, I hope that we can shuck-n-jive Bo into letting us use him for a while."

While Pam & Luke were outside in the barn talking, Bo & Vicki were inside the kitchen seated at the table watching Daisy put icing on the chocolate cake.

"Bo, can you come out here for a minute?" hollered Luke from inside the barn.
"Sweet Angel, do you mind if I go out there and talk to Luke for a minute?" asked Bo, taking Vicki's hand.
"No, that's fine, sweetheart. I'll be fine in here talking to Daisy," said Vicki, smiling at Bo.
"Thanks, sweetheart," said Bo, giving Vicki a kiss on the cheek as he was walking outside on the back porch.

Daisy smiled as she watched her cousin walk outside towards the barn.

As Bo was walking outside towards the barn, a black sedan pulls up behind the barn...

"You know, I've never seen my cousin so happy," said Daisy as she watched Bo walk across the yard towards the barn. "I know," said Vicki smiling at Daisy as she watched Bo going into the barn then added, "He's been this happy since my birthday a couple of months ago."

"Yeah, I remember that day. I remember that you saved Bo from carbon minoxide poisioning after he was abducted by Carl, Diane's Manager with the Auto Circus. I remember that after you revived Bo, he woke up and told you that he loved you for the very first time," said Daisy as she was taking the coffee pot off the stove.

Vicki smiled at Daisy. "That was right before he made that huge jump in the General Lee. That was also the 1st time that he ever called me "Sweet Angel"
"Bo told me that he called you that when he thought that you were glowing over him, after you revived him from carbon minoxide poisioning," said Daisy, taking a butterknife out of the drawer. "And he's been calling me that ever since," said Vicki smiling at Daisy.

"Vicki, he's also your best friend. He tells me that all the time, especially when y'all are arguing about something," questioned Daisy. "Yeah, just like you are one of my closest friends," said Vicki, taking a drink of her iced tea.

"Bo & I are pretty close. Not as cousins, but also as best friends," said Daisy, smiling at Vicki. Vicki giggled at her friend. "Yeah, your cousin & I started out just being friends, and now we do everything together."

"Including kissing in the back seat of the General Lee late at night," said Daisy, smiling at Vicki. Vicki gave Daisy a dirty look. "Well, we have been best friends for about 2 years, ever since my family moved here from Oklahoma," she said smiling at Daisy then added,
"Besides, we have been dating steadily since my birthday."

Meanwhile, out in the barn, Bo was talking to Pam & Luke. "Luke, are you sure that you want me to clean the stalls now? I am on a date with Vicki." "It'll only take you probably about 30 minutes, Bo. Vicki will be all right until then," said Luke as he handed Bo a pitchfork. "Yeah, I was wanting Luke to take me out to Hazzard Pond to go swimming," said Pam, putting her arm around Luke's waist.

Bo looked around the barn. He knew that if he used a couple of shortcuts, he could be done in about 10 minutes. Then he could have Vicki to himself the rest of the day & night.
"I guess I can do this for y'all." "Thanks, Bo," said Pam, smiling sweetly at Bo.
Bo smiled at Pam then at Luke. "But only if you'll do my chores tomorrow so I can take Vicki fishing at Hazzard Lake tomorrow morning."

"Cousin, its a deal," said Luke as he shook Bo's hand then added, "We're going inside now to tell Daisy that we're leaving for a while." Bo smiled at Luke as they were leaving the barn.

As Bo started pitching hay, an arm grabbed him from behind, dragging him away from the stall...

Bo started fighting his attacker, but it was useless when the attacker puts a dark hood over his face.

The dark cloth was soaked with chloroform, and Bo fell unconscious when he dropped to the ground with a thud.

Pulling the black ski mask off, the attacker laughed at the young man as he takes the hood off of Bo's face.
"Now its my turn to have some fun with you for a while," said Jasper, taking some rope out of his bag then added as he pulled out a couple of handkerchiefs as well, "Now we're going to see how long it takes your girlfriend to find you."

While the stalker was taking Bo away, Vicki & Daisy continued talking inside the farmhouse. They were unaware of the trouble outside in the barn.

Pam & Luke came inside the farmhouse. "Well, its about time that you two came back. I'm getting ready to cut the cake," said Daisy, noticing that Bo was not with them then added, "Where's Bo?"
"I don't know, Daisy," said Luke worriedly, looking around the farmhouse then added, "I thought that he might be done cleaning the stalls out by now."
Pam looked at her watch. "That was almost 30 minutes ago."

Vicki gave her sister a dirty look. "You shuck-n-jived Bo into cleaning out the stalls?"
"Yeah, Little Red. He shuck-n-jived me back by talking me into doing his chores tomorrow morning while he takes you fishing," said Luke grinning at Vicki.
Vicki smiled at Luke. She knew if she talked Rosco into letting her off tomorrow morning, she will be able to go fishing with Bo.

As Vicki walked outside to start searching for Bo, a shot was fired towards her. BANG!

"Oh...my...gosh! Someone just took a shot at me!" said Vicki in shock as she fell to the ground, shielding herself from the gunshots.
"Vicki! Are you all right?" asked Luke as he helped Vicki off the ground near the steps near the back kitchen door.
"I think so, Luke! Someone just took a shot at me! When I came outside to start looking for Bo," said Vicki, shaking slightly.
Just then from a black sedan on top of a hill, overlooking the Duke farm, Jasper takes a second shot at Vicki & Luke. BANG! BANG!

"Dang! I missed them!" said Jasper laughing as he watched Vicki & Luke ducked back inside the farmhouse for cover.
As Jasper was watching Vicki & Luke, with his gun pointed down towards them, Bo regains consciousness in the back seat of a black sedan. Looking around outside, he noticed that they were on top of a hill overlooking the farm. Noticing that Jasper had his gun pointed down towards the farm, Bo then lunges at Jasper in the front seat...

"Leave my girlfriend alone!" yelled Bo, trying to take the mask off of Jasper. "Try and make me, plowboy!" said Jasper as he crams a chloroform soaked rag in Bo's mouth.
As Bo falls unconscious, Jasper leaves in the black sedan fast!

As Jasper was taking Bo on what could be his last ride, Vicki & Luke was inside the farmhouse trying to catch their breath from nearly getting shot by the lunatic crook.

"Vicki, are you sure that you're all right?" asked Luke, putting an arm around the trembling redhead.
"Vicki, you're as pale as a ghost!" said Pam, looking at her sister curiously.
"Y'all, I'm fine..." said Vicki, taking a deep breath then added, "I just don't like the idea that I was shot at!"

"I wonder what's keeping Bo? He should have been done by now," said Daisy, looking at the clock on the stove in the kitchen.
"He told me that he could have the stalls cleaned out in about 10 minutes," said Luke worriedly.
"If he wanted it done real fast, he would have called me to come out there and help him," said Vicki worriedly as she walked back outside the farmhouse.

"What's wrong with Vicki?" asked Pam in a low tone to Luke as they watched Vicki walk out of the farmhouse.
"I don't know. I think that she's worried about Bo," said Luke as he & Pam walk outside the farmhouse to join Vicki.

As Vicki was looking around for Bo, she came across the General Lee, with 2 slashed tires. She then noticed a note on the windshield.
Picking up the note, her eyes grew wide with anger as she read it.

The note said: SURPRISE! SURPRISE! CAN YOU FIND MY SURPRISE FOR YOU?? I HAVE IT STASHED RIGHT UNDER YOUR NOSE! TRY TO FIND IT!

Vicki gasped in shock after reading the note. "I don't believe this. Someone is just trying to scare me."
"Yeah, Little Red," said Luke after inspecting the note then added, "Someone is playing with us."

"You mean like a minute ago when we were almost shot by some crazy person?" asked Vicki sarcastically to Luke.
"Yeah, and then finding the General with 2 slashed tires."

Just then, a black car tore out of the driveway behind the barn. "What was that?" asked Daisy. Luke looked around then watching as the black car came bareeling around in front of the farmhouse, speeding towards Luke.

"Luke! Watch out!" screamed Vicki at the top of her lungs.

As the speeding black sedan was coming closer towards him, Luke jumped out of the way, just narrowing getting hit by the speeding car.
As he jumped out of the way, Luke hit his head hard on the picnic table.

"Luke! Are you all right?" asked Vicki as she rushed over to him.
"Ouch!" said Luke as he was brushing dirt off his jeans then added as he noticed blood coming off his face, "Oh, great! I'm bleeding!"

"Luke! You're hurt!" said Pam excitedly, walking off the porch to notice her boyfriend sitting on the ground, wiping blood off his face.
"Sweetheart," said Luke, giving Pam a light hug then added, "I'm fine. I just have a little cut right above my eye is all."

"Luke, are you sure that you're all right?" asked Vicki, looking at Luke closely. "Little Red, if it wasn't for you, I might have been really hurt by now," said Luke, giving Vicki a hug.
Vicki smiled at Luke. "You know that I would do anything for you & Bo. Let's go inside and let Daisy look at that cut."
"Yeah, then I need to take another look at that note," said Luke as he, Pam, and Vicki walked back inside the farmhouse.

"Maybe we should take you to see Doc Petticord," said Daisy, a few minutes later as she was doctoring Luke's head.
"Daisy, that stings!" wimpering Luke then added, "I am fine, really. Vicki, let me take another look at that note you found on the General."

Pam nudged Luke's arm. "Luke, you look worried."
"Yeah, I am. I'm worried about Bo. He should have been in here over an hour ago," said Luke as he gave Vicki back that note.
"Do you think that something has happened to Bo?" asked Pam worriedly as she slipped her arm around Luke's waist.
"Well, the way that the black sedan tore out of here a minute ago, I think that Bo might have been kidnapped," said Luke worriedly.

"Why would someone want to kidnap Bo? He hasn't got on anyone's nerves that I know of. Maybe you & Bo crossed the wrong people lately," said Vicki sarcastically to Luke a few minutes later as they were inside the kitchen, drinking some coffee.

"Vicki, I have no idea. Unless it was one of those crooks that we put in jail a couple of months ago," said Luke worriedly.

Vicki walked over to the kitchen window. "I do remember a couple of months back that one of the crooks said that he would get even with us. Maybe this is his way of doing it."

"Yeah, I remember that too," said Luke as he opened the back kitchen door then added to Vicki, "Let's go take a look for Bo outside in the barn."

"Y'all be careful. That lunatic might still be outside waiting for y'all to come out!" said Daisy worriedly as she watched her cousin & her best friend walked out the kitchen door.

As everyone was going outside to start searching for Bo, the phone rings in the kitchen. Luke went to answer the phone.

"Hello," said Luke as he answered the phone on the 3rd ring. "Hi," said Jasper in a cool voice into a pay phone then added, "Is Daisy there please?"
"Sure, hold on for a minute," said Luke quizzingly then added to Daisy, "Daisy, it's for you."

Daisy walked into the living room and picked up the phone. "Hello."
There was silence. "Hello?" She said again, still there was silence.

Vicki picked up the extension in the kitchen when she noticed that there was something wrong.

"Hello?" said Daisy a third time. After the third time, Daisy was about to hang up when a deep voice came over the line. "WATCH YOUR BACK, OR YOUR FAMILY WILL GET HURT!!!"

"WATCH YOUR BACK! YOU & YOUR FAMILY WILL GET HURT!" said Jasper harshly into the pay phone.

Daisy couldn't believe what she was hearing. She could feel that this person was serious. "Who is this??" asked Daisy fearfully.

There was a harsh laugh in the phone. "I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU. YOU WILL KNOW THAT SOON ENOUGH!"

There was some more harsh laughs in the background of the phone. Then Jasper came back on the line. "BY THE WAY, I'VE LEFT YOUR FRIEND A SURPRISE IN THE BARN OR WHAT'S LEFT OF HER SURPRISE! HAVE A GOOD DAY!"

Daisy began to tremble as she hung up the phone. She then broke down sobbing loudly.
Vicki's eyes grew wide with fear as she hung up the phone in the kitchen.
Looking out the window, Vicki began to worry about what the voice said on the phone about her surprise...

Trembling, Daisy sank down in a kitchen chair and began to wept.
"Cousin, are you okay?" asked Luke, putting his arm around Daisy. He noticed that she was pale, and there was a look of terror in her eyes.

"I don't know," said Daisy, with fear in her voice then added, "I keep thinking about what the voice said into the phone."
"I feel the same way, Daisy," said Vicki as she sat down in a chair next to her friend then added, "I am so scared about what the voice said on the phone too."

Looking at Vicki, Pam gasped in shock at her sister. "What did the voice say to you?" "Well, he said it to Daisy, but it was addressed to me," said Vicki, trembling slightly.

"Who was on the phone?" asked Luke, giving Daisy a hug.
"I don't know...It was just a harsh mean voice telling me that we would..." said Daisy as she started to shake again as the sound of that voice echoed in her mind.

Luke gently touched Daisy's shoulder and squeezed it. "It's okay, Daisy. We won't let anything happen to you."

Daisy touched Luke's hand and smiled at him for a minute before remembering the last thing that the voice said before she hung up the phone.
After looking at a worried Vicki, Daisy rose out of her chair. "The voice also said that he left a surprise for Vicki inside the barn, and I bet that it has something to do with Bo!"

Vicki's blue-gray eyes grew wide with worry. "I wonder how the voice knew about me?" asked the redhead to Luke in a fearful voice.
"I don't know, Little Red," said Luke, putting his arm around Vicki's shoulder, trying to calm her down then added as he opened the back kitchen door, "Maybe you'll feel better after we take a look out in the barn for Bo. Let's go!"

Meanwhile, near the back of the barn, Bo regains consciousness.

"Where am I" thought Bo moaning as he opened his eyes slowly. He tried to look around, but couldn't because of something tied around his eyes. He knew then that he was blindfolded.

He then try to yell, but he felt something sticky across his mouth. "Somebody, help!" screamed Bo, but all that came out was a muffled scream.

He also felt straw around him, and knew that someone had covered him with straw.
He tried to pull himself up to a sitting position, but realized that he couldn't. He was tied securely hand & foot. Moving clightly, he felt a box of somesort behind him.

"I've got to get out of here! Before whoever did this to me comes back!" thought Bo, furiously as he began to pull on the ropes bounding him. He stopped pulling on the ropes after a few minutes when he realized that the ropes around his arms & hands seemed to tightened & bite into his skin, so he stopped moving. He then tried to reach with his numbed fingers behind him to his pocketknife, but to his horror, the knife was gone.

"There is no way that I can move or yell for help," thought Bo as he tossed & turned effortlessly trying to break free of the ropes.

As he was trying to free himself, Bo didn't know about the ticking sound behind him...

While Bo was trying to free himself of the ropes, Luke, Vicki, & Daisy walked towards the barn.

"That's funny. The barn door wasn't closed when I left Bo over an hour ago," said Luke, looking curiously at the barn door as he opened it.

Vicki looked around inside the barn. Bo was no where to be seen.
"Well, it looks like Bo didn't do a good job cleaning up in here. There is hay everywhere," said Vicki looking around the barn.

"No! Wait a minute, Y'all!" said Luke excitedly then added, "Take a look at these tracks on the ground in front of us under the hay."
"It looks like Bo was dragged off somewhere," said Daisy, trying to find the direction of the tracks.

"The tracks look like they're heading towards the back of the barn," said Vicki as she noticed something shiny on the ground in the hay in front of her.
Picking it up, she gasped in shock. Vicki realized it then that it was Bo's pocketknife. She knew then that they were on the trail to find Bo. "Hey, y'all! I found Bo's pocketknife on the ground."

"That's great, Little Red! That means we're on the right track!" said Luke, smiling at the redhead then added, "Let's head towards the back of the barn."
"I hope that we can find him before it's too late," said Daisy worriedly as she & Vicki followed Luke towards the back of the barn.

Hearing Vicki's, Daisy's, and Luke's voices near the front of the barn, Bo started screaming through his gag, hoping that they would hear him. "Somebody, Help!" screamed Bo through his gag. Bo stopped screaming when he realized that he was having trouble getting his breath. "Someone HELP me! I can't breathe!" said Bo, through the gag as he was gasping for air. "Little Red, HELP!!!"

Suddenly, Vicki stopped in her tracks as she heard Bo's muffled screaming from the back of the barn. She knew that Bo was in trouble.
"What is it, Vicki?" asked Luke, looking curiously at the redhead.
"I can hear Bo screaming for help. I think that he is in serious troble!" said Vicki in a furious voice as she, Luke, & Daisy started rushing towards the back of the barn.

Luke, Daisy, & Vicki followed the tracks all the way to the far end of the barn. "Well, the tracks end here," said Luke, looking at the tracks on the dusty floor.

Vicki looked in front of her at the pile of hay in the far corner. She thought that she saw something or someone move under it.
"Wait a minute, Y'all! I think that I see something moving under the hay in front of us!"

"It must be Bo trapped under that hay!" said Luke worriedly as he, Daisy, & Vicki started moving the hay around, trying to find Bo.

Meanwhile at the front of the barn, Jasper laughed loudly as he shuts the barn door & locks it, trapping the young people in there...

Jasper laughed as he walked away from the barn.
"Even if y'all find him, I have y'all locked in there so tight, that I'll be long gone by the time y'all get out!" he said to himself as he was getting into his black sedan.

After hearing what Jasper said, Pam walked out on the front porch with Jesse. "Did you hear what that creep said?" asked Pam furiously.

"Sure did, honey," said Jesse as he walked outside, carrying his shotgun then added, "Let's go see what that crook did to my barn, and why Luke, Daisy, and Vicki are in there!"

"I can tell you the only reason why they're in there is because they're looking for where that creep stashed Bo!" said Pam angrily as she followed Jesse towards the barn.

"What happened to Bo?" asked Jesse.
"I really don't know for sure, but Luke saw signs of a struggle outside the barn door," said Pam worriedly looking at her watch then added, "It has been well over 2 hours since Bo disappeared."

"Oh...no! Look what that crazy idiot put up against the barn door," said Jesse angrily, stopping in front of the closed barn door.
"Oh, my gosh!" said Pam excitedly.

It was the General parked in front of the barn door, loaded with dynamite...

"What are we going to do?" asked Pam nervousily then added, "If we try to move it, the bomb will explode!"

"Honey, it will be all right!" said Jesse, trying to calm the strawberry redhead down then added, "All we have to do is check the timer on the box of dynamite, and we have to remove the right wire from the box."

"I hope so. I'm going to call Rosco & Enos on the CB. We're going to need help trying to undo those wires," said Pam worriedly then added to herself, "If my little sister finds Bo in time, I wonder if he is tied to an explosive too??"

Meanwhile, near the back of the barn, Vicki, Luke, & Daisy continue their search for Bo...

As Jesse & Pam were looking at the denomator box on how to undo the bomb without blowing up the General, Daisy, Luke, and Vicki continued their search at the back of the barn for Bo.

"Bo, if you can hear me, darling, please tell me..." said Vicki in a barely audiable tone as she frantically keeps searching the hay.
"Sweet Angel, HELP! Get me out of here!" screamed Bo through his gag, as he was pulling against his restraints.

Vicki's eyes widen after hearing Bo's muffled scream.
"Bo, if that was you. Keep screaming," said Vicki as she continued to pitching the hay right & left then added towards Luke & Daisy, "Hey, Y'all. I think that I hear him in front of me!"

"That's good," said Luke as he rushed over to the redhead.
Daisy added, "At least we know that the creep didn't take Bo with him."
"Yeah, only because I think that I walked out on them as the creep was leaving," said Vicki sarcastically as she continues to pitch the hay behind her until her eyes caught something bright under the hay. She gasped outloud as her hand brushed across some fabric. "OH...MY...GOSH"

"What is it, Little Red?" asked Luke, putting a hand on the redhead.
"Luke, look directly in front of me!" said Vicki frantically.

Luke noticed directly in front of them. He noticed that Bo's yellow shirt was directly in front of them still semi-buried under the hay.
Luke smiled at the redhead as he got down on his knees and started helping Vicki pitched the hay away.
"Vicki, I think that you & me found Bo."

The three young people continue to pitch the hay for a few more minutes.
"What on earth..." gasped Daisy in shock.
"Holy smokes!" said Luke angrily as the last of the hay was removed then added, "I can't believe that the crazed lunatic would do such a thing like that! I can't believe that he would booby trap Bo like that!"

Vicki just stared in a daze as she saw Bo lying on the floor, tied to a bomb box...

"Daisy, do me a favor and call Rosco & Jesse on the CB. We're going to need help into finding the crook that did this. Plus, we need to get that bomb checked out," said Luke worriedly.

"Sure, Luke. I'll be right back!" said Daisy as she headed towards the front of the barn.

"Well, this is CERTAINLY a nice way of coming back from vacation!" said Vicki angrily as she knelt down in the hay beside Bo and started pulling at the knot in the blindfold & gag.

"Little Red, just calm down. We'll get him untied without letting the bomb go off," said Luke as he was on his knees, trying to pull at the knots on the ropes bounding Bo.

"Yeah, right! I'm going to clobber whoever did this to him," said Vicki angrily as she tore away the handkerchief around Bo's eyes. It took Bo a couple of seconds to adjust to the blinding sunlight, but then he stared directly into Vicki's furious eyes.

Vicki then pulled the gag down with a furious, but gentle pull. Calming down slightly, she added to Bo, "Are you all right?"
"Yeah, thanks..." said Bo, taking a deep breath of air then added in a dry voice, "You wouldn't have any water on you?"

"No, but we'll get some as soon as you're free," said Vicki, smiling at Bo then added as she reached into her pocket, "Luke, since your knife is a little dull, do you think that Bo's knife will work?"

"Yeah, Little Red. It will work just fine. Bo's knife is a lot sharper than my knife," said Luke as the redhead handed him the knife.

A few minutes later, Bo's hands were free. "Thanks, Luke. That does feel better. Even though I can't feel my hands," said Bo, moving his numbed hands in front of him so he could rub the feeling back into them. "You're welcome, cousin," said Luke, who was now kneeling in front of Bo, cutting through the ropes around his ankles.

After a few moments, Bo was completely free.
Vicki & Luke then helped Bo stand up. Bo was having trouble standing due to inactivity in his legs from sitting in that cramped pisition for the last couple of hours. So he used Vicki for support just until he stopped swaying.

"Let's get away from that bomb box!" said Bo excitedly as he, Luke, & Vicki were walking towards the front of the barn.
"We're with you, cousin!" said Luke as he & Vicki helped Bo towards the door.

Just then, outside in the distance, an explosion occured...

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! :P :P

"DRAT! Those bombs just barely missed them! That old farmer threw the bomb boxes into the pond! I'll have to find another way of getting even with them!" said Jasper angrily to himself as he gets back into his car, which was parked on top of a hill overlooking the farm.

Looking around in his stolen car, he then smiles as his hand fell across a large rock. Smiling, he then uses his slingshot and takes careful aim towards the young people below him.

When he saw his target, which was Vicki, he snickered loudly as he let go of the rock. "Night, night. Sleeping Beauty. Pleasant Dreams..."
He then took off fast in his sedan towards Hazzard Swamp.

As the explosions occured, Bo, Luke, Daisy, and Vicki try to shield themselves from any falling debris. As Vicki looked up after the final explosion, a large rock was heading straight towards her...

Jasper laughed as he aimed the large rock directly at the redhead.

"Vicki! Look out!" yelled Luke as he pushes Vicki out of the way, just narrowing getting hit by the large rock.

Vicki rolled over quickly, and right into Bo's arms.
"Are you all right, sweetheart?" asked Bo as he helped the redhead sit up.
Vicki gasped as she saw the blood dripping off his arms & wrists. "I'm fine, but your arms are covered in blood, Bo."

"Oh...Lord. Vicki, it is just rope burns. It doesn't hurt too bad," said Bo, showing Vicki the deep red welts on his wrists.
"If you say so, sweetheart. I'm going to clean your wounds when we get inside the farmhouse," said Vicki, putting an arm around Bo's waist as he winced in pain.

"Bo, you have been hurt by whoever grabbed you," said Daisy worriedly as she & Luke caught up with Bo & Vicki.
"Daisy, I'm fine," said Bo.
"Yeah, you're fine all right," said Vicki, looking at Bo closely then added,
"You have a cut on your lip, right side of your face is swollen, and you have 2 deep cuts on your wrists. It looks like to me that you have been assaulted, Bo."

"Vicki, Bo wasn't assaulted. Someone tried to murder him!" said Luke excitedly.
Vicki gasped outloud in shock. "Oh...my...gosh!" :P

"Luke, I really don't think that someone is trying to kill us, I think that it might be someone trying to get revenge on us for something," said Vicki as she & Luke were following Bo & Daisy towards the farmhouse a few minutes later.

"That could be it, Little Red," said Luke.
"Maybe, Luke. Do you think that whoever it is also gave Daisy the phone threats," said Vicki.
"Yeah, not to mention the stray arrow that caught me in the shoulder, and the car that forced us off the road yesterday," said Luke worriedly.

"Bo didn't tell me about that one," gasped Vicki in shock.
"I don't think that he had a chance to tell you. He was going to tell you after he cleaned the stalls for me right before he was grabbed earlier," said Luke.

Vicki glanced at Bo in front of her. "You know, Luke, I'm glad that I came over today."
"Me too. I have a bad gut feeling that this person would have finished Bo off if you & Pam hadn't showed up today," said Luke.

Vicki giggled slightly. "Yeah, thanks to Bo for talking me into coming over today, even though I have a cold."
Stopping Vicki by placing a hand on her arm, Luke smiled at the redhead. "Yeah, thanks to my lovesick cousin. You know, I've just thought of something."
"What Luke?" asked Vicki.
"You've saved my cousin's life," said Luke gratefully, giving the redhead a hug.

"Sweet Angel, I'm not feeling so good," said Bo weakly as he puts his arm around the redhead's shoulder as they were following Luke & Daisy towards the farmhouse.
"What's wrong, sugar?" asked Vicki, placing her hand on Bo's bruised face.
"I hurt all over. It feels like that I don't have any strength left," said Bo weakly.
"Sugar, you have been kidnapped and assaulted. That is the reason why you don't have any energy left," said Vicki worriedly, placing her arm around Bo's waist.

"Is Bo okay?" asked Luke, looking back at the couple, who were walking slowly behind him & Daisy.
"I think so, Luke. Bo is just complaining that he hurt all over," said Vicki.

"Little Red, Bo's cuts might be infected. We need to go inside and let Uncle Jesse look at them," said Daisy as she turned around and watched Bo & Vicki walk slowly towards them.
"Okay. We'll be right behind y'all," said Vicki, and she was tugging gently on Bo's arm them added, "Just a few more steps, sweetheart. Then we'll be inside completely safe from that lunatic."

"How are you holding up, sugar?" asked Vicki as she & Bo were walking slow behind Daisy & Luke.
"Just peachy, Little Red. My arms & legs are killing me," said Bo, moaning slightly.
"You'll be fine in a minute, sugar. We're almost inside the back door," said Vicki.
"I hope so, sweetheart," said Bo, putting his arm around Vicki's shoulder for support.

Moments later, Luke, Daisy, Bo, and Vicki were walking slowly into the back door of the farmhouse.
"Sweetheart, can you help me to a chair?" moaned Bo then added, "My legs are hurting some." "Of course, sugar. The circulation in your legs must not have returned yet," said Vicki, putting her arm around Bo's waist then added, "Just a few more steps."

"Uncle Jesse, we finally found Bo," announced Luke as Jesse, Vicki's sister Pam, and Vicki's best friend Katie Williams came walking into the kitchen.
Jesse looked wide-eyed at Bo. "Bo, what in tarnation happened to you?"
"It's nothing, Uncle Jesse."
"Yeah, right. Why do both of your wrists look infected?" asked Jesse.
"Uncle Jesse, I'm fine. Really, it's nothing," said Bo.

"Vicki, did you do something to Bo?" asked Pam.
"Well, the only thing that I did was that Luke, Daisy, & I found him beaten up and tied to a bomb box out in the barn," said Vicki.
"Well, that would explained the explosion that we heard earlier," said Katie.

"Bo, I know that you have been attacked," said Jesse worriedly, looking Bo over then added, "I think that I better clean those cuts on your hands, and then call Doc Petticord to have him come out here and check you over good. You have bruises all over your face."

"No, Uncle Jesse. You don't need to call Doc Petticord. Honestly, I'm fine. I'm very grateful that I was found inside the barn," said Bo as he stared into Vicki's blue-gray eyes as he gingerly grabbed Vicki's hand across the table. Vicki smiled back at Bo speechless. :)

A few hours later, Bo, Luke, and Daisy were cleaning up the kitchen after supper.
Jesse was watching and looking concerned at Bo. Bo was very quiet since the attack earlier this afternoon.

"All right, you kids just sit down at the table. I want to talk to you," said Jesse.
"Why?" asked Bo as he was putting the dishes up in the cabinet then added, "I don't really want to talk about the attack, Uncle Jesse."
"I want to know everything that happened earlier this afternoon out in the barn. Now sit down!" said Jesse in a stern voice.
"Yes, sir," said Bo as he, Luke, and Daisy sat down at the kitchen table.

"All right, now tell me everything that happened inside the barn, and why our creekbed exploded," said Jesse.
After a few minutes, Bo, Daisy, and Luke told Jesse everything that happened inside the barn. Jesse listened to the story. He couldn't believe that Bo was assaulted & beaten out in the barn by a crazed killer.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a huge rock was thrown into the open kitchen window towards Daisy & Bo! :P

"Daisy! Look out!" hollered Bo as he pushed Daisy out of the way just in time.

"Daisy! Are you all right?" Luke asked as he helped Daisy off the kitchen floor. "I'm all right," said Daisy shakely then added, "What happened?"

"Cousin, you were narrowly gotten hit by a huge rock that was thrown in here," said Bo angrily as he picked up a note that was wrapped around the rock. "Hey! There's a note wrapped around this rock, and its addressed to you." Bo gave Daisy the note.

"Thanks, I think," said Daisy a bit dazed as she opened the note. Daisy read a couple of words, then gasped loudly. "Oh...my...gosh!"

"Honey, what is it?" asked Jesse worriedly.
"It's this note! Someone is out to kill us!" said Daisy as she handed Luke the note.

Luke read the note aloud: "PREPARE FOR YOUR DOOM! I'M COMING BACK TO GET EVEN! YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE GOING TO GET HURT PAINFULLY!"
Angrily, Luke then crumbled the note, and threw it in the trash.

Daisy looked petrified with fear. "Why is this crazy killer trying to hurt us?" she asked fearfully.

"I have no idea, Daisy. But I wish I knew who this killer was," said Bo angrily trying to calm Daisy down.

"I don't know either, cousin. This person is after us for a reason," said Luke, taking a look out the kitchen window.

Daisy looked up at her cousins shaking. "Shouldn't we try and find out why we're getting attacked?"
Bo nodded his head. "Yeah, we have enough here to tell Rosco about the attacks. I have proof that I was attacked and beatened." Bo showed Luke, Daisy, and Jesse the rope burn welts on his wrists.

"But Rosco will probably say that we made all this up," said Daisy worriedly.
"I know, but with Vicki around here when the attacks happened, he'll have to believe us," said Bo as he looked out the kitchen window. :wink:

Meanwhile, Vicki was reading a magazine in her bedroom when Pam walked in.
"Hi," said Vicki, not looking up from her magazine.
"Hi, little sister. You're being awfully quiet," said Pam as she sat down on the bed next to Vicki.

Vicki sighed loudly. "I'm sorry. I have a lot on my mind right now."
"What is it, little sister?" asked Pam.
"I was just thinking WHY some crazed killer is terrorizing the Duke family. It eats me alive knowing that Bo was almost killed earlier this afternoon," said Vicki angrily as she looked out the window.

"I know, little sister. I know," said Pam as she gave Vicki a hug.
"I keep asking myself WHY? Who do I know would want to hurt the Dukes like that? I want to know some answers, NOW!" said Vicki angrily as a tear falls down her face.

"Maybe you should go talk to Rosco about the attacks," said Pam in a comforting voice.
"I could, but I'm not sure if Rosco will believe us. He might think that we're making them up," said Vicki as she looked out the window.

"Vicki, I wouldn't fret over it. Afterall, Rosco is our god-father. I know that he will believe you tomorrow morning," said Pam, giving Vicki a hug then added, "I'm sure that everything will be all right."

Vicki sighed loudly looking out the window towards the Duke property. "I hope so, Pam. I hope so." :P :-? :P

Vicki awoke early the next morning, not really wanting to get up. She looked at her clock on the nightstand. It was a few minutes until 5a.m. "Well, I guess that I need to get up," thought the redhead as she sat up in her bed.

Not really into working today, Vicki sighed loudly as she walked over to her closet to get her police uniform. "I wish that I would have taken an extra day off. I have a feeling that this is going to be a BAD day."

"But at least I am only working until noon. Maybe nothing bad won't happen until after I get off," thought the redhead as she walked down the hall towards the bathroom.

About 30 minutes later, Vicki walked outside the house towards her patrol car.
As she was walking towards her car, she was staring at her dad's barn, thinking about what happened yesterday next door at the Duke farm. "I've got to get it out of my mind. I had nightmares all night about it," thought Vicki, shivering slightly as she was getting into her patrol car then added, "No telling what would have happened yesterday if I wouldn't have come home from the lake." :-?

About 15 minutes later, Vicki pulls the patrol car up in front of the Courthouse.
Enos was walking down the steps as Vicki was getting out of the patrol car.

"Hey Enos," said Vicki, smiling at her friend.
"Hey Little Red," said Enos as he opened the door for Vicki.

"Thanks, Enos. Has it been quiet around here since I was on vacation last week?" she asked, smiling at Enos.
"Yeah, Little Red. Almost too quiet," said Enos.

"That's good," said Vicki as she sat down at a desk.
"By the way, how was your vacation last week?" asked Enos.
"It was fine until Pam & I came home yesterday, then everything went downhill when we went over to the Duke farm," said Vicki angrily as a stray tear fell down her face.

"It's all right, sugar. Daisy told me what happened yesterday afternoon," said Enos, reassuring Vicki to calm down.
"Yeah, right! I am still upset that Bo was nearly killed yesterday by some crazed killer!" said Vicki sarcastically.

"Vicki, it's all right. Maybe that killer is long gone by now. Besides, Daisy told me that they would be in sometime this morning to fill out a statement about what happened yesterday," said Enos, still trying to calm Vicki down.

"So they are coming in this morning?" asked Vicki, sighing loudly.
"Yeah, I'm sure that they will probably be in pretty soon," said Enos as he sat down at a table next to Vicki.

"Enos, thanks for making me feel better," said Vicki, giving the shy deputy a hug.
"You're welcome. I'll always do anything to make you feel better," said Enos, returning the hug.
"Enos, the only way that I will feel 100% better would be to put this crazy killer behind bars before he tries to do anything else to anyone!" said Vicki furiously as she looked out the window... :-? :x :-?

AT THE FARM AT THE SAME TIME:

Meanwhile, at the farm, everyone had gathered to eat breakfast except for Daisy, who was staring out the kitchen window with fear in her brown eyes.

"Daisy, aren't you going to eat? Your breakfast is getting cold," asked Luke, noticing that Daisy wasn't eating a bite of her bacon & eggs.

"Luke, I'm not hungry right now. I don't have much of an appetite to eat," sighed Daisy as she stared at her plate of bacon & eggs.

"Honey, you need to keep your strength up. Look at Bo," said Jesse, motioning for Daisy to look at Bo then added, "He's eating well. Considering what happened to him yesterday."

"Uncle Jesse, he was nearly killed yesterday! I can't get it out of my mind about what happened yesterday," said Daisy, who started trembling.

"Daisy, I had nightmares too about what happened yesterday. I keep seeing that killer's face in my dreams, and how the killer attacked me," said Bo as he put a arm around her shoulder then added, "Then I saw Vicki in that nightmare. I knew then that I was in safe hands. Despite that killer being on the loose in Hazzard."

Daisy looked at her uncle, then at Bo & Luke. Jesse smiled at Daisy. "Honey, it will be allright. We going into town afterwhile and fill out a report about what happened yesterday."

"Yeah, Daisy. We're going into town after breakfast to talk to Rosco about what happened," said Luke, taking a bite of his eggs then added, "You have to trust us that everything will work out."

"I hope so..." sighed Daisy as she picked up her fork and began to eat her breakfast.
The tension that was building inside Daisy had began to diminish and she began to feel better knowing that everyone was looking out for her. :wink:

AT THE HAZZARD COUNTY COURTHOUSE:

Meanwhile, inside the courthouse, Vicki was inside the Sheriff's office talking to Rosco about everything that happened yesterday after she got home from her vacation.

Vicki told Rosco about Bo getting attacked and nearly killed by some crazed stalker out at the farm yesterday. Rosco listened to Vicki's story in shock.

"Are you sure that you're not shuck-n-jiving me, Vicki? This sounds serious," asked Rosco, taking a drink of his coffee.
"Rosco, in the last 2 years that I have been a deputy to you, I have never lied to you. It is the truth," said Vicki, brushing her red hair back away from her face.

"I don't believe it. This couldn't have happened. Not in MY county," said Rosco in shock.
"Rosco, I am serious. It's the truth. In fact, Bo should be in here in a little while and fill out an assault report about what happened to him yesterday," said Vicki, taking a drink of her Dr. Pepper.

"Vicki, I do believe you. You're as honest as Enos, but much smarter than Cletus," said Rosco, grinning at Vicki.
"Thanks, Rosco for believing in me," said Vicki, smiling at Rosco.
Rosco grinned back at Vicki. "You're quite welcome."

"Vicki, do you think that this attacker might be still around Hazzard?" asked Rosco as he looked out the window a few minutes later.

"I hope not, Rosco. But if this person is still around Hazzard, I'm going to make extra sure that NO ONE will get attacked anymore!" said Vicki as she looked out the open window worriedly, hoping that she, Rosco, Enos, and Cletus can keep this county safe from danger... :-? 8)

"Vicki, there's nothing to be worried about," said Rosco, as he walked over to the window then added, "Maybe that crook is long gone by now."

"Rosco, I really don't think that the crook is away from Hazzard County. I bet that this crook is still hiding out somewhere," said Vicki sighing loudly as she continued to look out the open window.

"Then why are you still worried?" asked Rosco.

"You know me, Rosco. I'm a worry-wort. I just know that this killer is still out there lurking for his next victim," said Vicki worriedly as she continued to look out the window. "Or that this killer might go back and try to finish his previous victim off. That is what I'm not about to let happen."

About 5 minutes later, Bo, Luke, Jesse, and Daisy walked inside the Courthouse together.

"I wonder where Vicki's at?" asked Bo as he looked around the booking room.
"Bo, Vicki is in Rosco's office talking to him about what happened yesterday. She will be out in a minute. Why don't y'all have a seat?" asked Enos, taking a stack of papers to the desk.

"Okay. Come on, Luke. We'll get some coffee while I'm waiting on Vicki to come out of Rosco's office," said Bo.
"Okay, Cousin. If it will make you calm down, I'll go with you," said Luke as he followed Bo over towards the coffee maker.

Meanwhile, Enos was sitting at his desk sorting through the latest stack of wanted posters. One of the posters was a picture of Jasper Johnson and how he escaped from jail.
"Possum on a Gumbush! If Vicki sees this, she will be furious!" exclaimed Enos.

"What will Vicki be furious about, Enos?" asked Daisy.
"This," said Enos as he handed Daisy the wanted poster of Jasper Johnson then added, "Does this guy look familiar to you?"

"Oh...my...Gosh!" exclaimed Daisy then added, "Maybe that is who tried to kill Bo yesterday and attacked us last night!"

"You were attacked last night, Daisy?" asked Enos in shock then added as he was heading towards Rosco's office, "Possum on a Gumbush! I wonder WHO will be next to get attacked around here?" :o :P

While Enos was talking to Bo, Luke, and Daisy, Vicki was in Rosco's office talking to the Sheriff.

"Are you sure that you're not shuck-n-jiving me, Vicki? I don't think that anything like this have happened in this county before," asked Rosco worriedly.

"I'm sure, Rosco. I wouldn't be saying it if it wasn't true," said Vicki, looking out the window as she noticed the General Lee parked outside behind her patrol car.

"Judist Priest on a Pony..." said Rosco in shock.

Just then there was a knock at the door. KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Sheriff, can I come in?" asked Enos, peeking his head inside Rosco's office.
"I guess so, dipstick!" barked Rosco.

Enos shakily walked inside Rosco's office.

"Enos, are you okay?" asked Vicki as she watched the shy deputy sat down in a chair next to her.

"No. Vicki, you need to look at this, but it might make you mad," said Enos apologetically as he handed Vicki the wanted poster of Jasper Johnson... :-?

"I don't believe this at all. This really makes my day a whole lot better," said Vicki sarcastically as she looked at the wanted poster.
She then added angrily as she threw the poster accidentally across Rosco's desk, "Well at least now I know who has been stalking and terrorizing the Duke family! He better watch out if he's coming back here!"

"Vicki! Are you okay? I haven't seen you this mad in a long time!" said Rosco, looking concernedly at his young furious lady deputy and god-daughter.

"No Sheriff, I ain't all right! That killer is loose here in Hazzard County!" said Vicki as she stared at Rosco, then walked away from him as she stared outside the open window.

"I'm sorry that you're upset, Vicki. I just had to show you this, considering at one time this killer said that he wanted to get revenge on you," said Enos, placing a hand on the trembling redhead's arm.

"It's all right, Enos," said Vicki, smiling at Enos then added to Rosco, "I'm sorry, Sheriff."
"It's all right, Vicki. You're just upset. But don't worry. Me, Enos, and Cletus will protect you from that killer. You don't have to worry about him. We'll cuff and stuff him."

"Maybe so, Rosco. Enos, let me look at that poster again," said Vicki, smiling slightly at Rosco and Enos.
"Sure," said Enos as he handed the redhead the wanted poster.

Vicki's blue-gray eyes grew angrier as she looked at the wanted poster.
"You okay, Vicki?" asked Rosco.
"No, I'm not okay!" said Vicki angrily. "My life might be threatened if we don't capture this killer soon. I'm not sure when & where he will strike next."

"Vicki, don't you worry. You have us to protect ya," said Rosco as he tried to comfort the redhead down.
"Thanks, Rosco. I do feel a little better, but I'm scared," said Vicki as she looked out the window.

"Vicki, I know that you can handle this killer again. You already shown how much courage you have when you & Bo captured him a few months ago. You were very brave and you still are," said Rosco as he walked over to the window to join Vicki.

"Thanks, Rosco. That makes me feel better. But is it enough to outsmart that killer to capture him again?" asked Vicki as she continued to look out the window.

A few minutes later, Vicki was peeking her red head outside of Rosco's office.
There she noticed that Bo was looking around the Courthouse for her. She shut the door again.

"Rosco, do you need me to do anything for you right now?" asked Vicki as she opened the door.

"No, Vicki. Not right now. But after they leave, I want you to go on patrol for me," said Rosco, grinning at the redhead then added, "Maybe you'll even catch them!"

"Works for me, Rosco. I bet that it would be fun if I illegally arrested Bo for something," said Vicki giggling as she walked out of his office, eyeing Bo down.

"Whatever makes you happy, Little Red. See ya later," said Rosco, grinning at his lady deputy as he closed his office door.

About a minute or so later, Vicki walked out of Rosco's office and sneaked up behind Bo.
"How about a kiss, sugar?" asked Vicki as she grabbed Bo playfully around the arm.

Laughing, Bo pulled Vicki into his arms. "With pleasure, Sweet Angel." He then kissed her full & hard on the lips.
"I think that you missed me some," giggled Vicki as they pulled apart.
"Sugar, I did miss you. A lot has happened after you & your sister left the farm last night," said Bo as he & Vicki sat down by Vicki's desk.

"I thought that you seemed quiet, sugar. What's wrong?" asked Vicki, grabbing Bo's hand from across her desk.
"Sweetheart, nothing is wrong. I was just thinking about what happened to me yesterday," said Bo worriedly, pulling away from Vicki as he walked over towards the window.

"Bo, what is it? Did something happened after Pam & I left the farm last night?" asked Vicki worriedly as she walked over to the window to join him.
"Yeah, Vicki. I really shouldn't tell you this, but I have to," said Bo, placing a hand on Vicki's face.

"Bo, what is it??" asked Vicki worriedly then added, "If it is about Jasper Johnson, I think that he was the one behind all those attacks yesterday at the farm."
"Oh...Lord. Vicki, I think that we are in major danger right now. I think that he was the one that threw a huge rock into the kitchen window last night when me & Daisy were doing the dishes!" said Bo fearfully, pulling Vicki close to him.

"Oh, my gosh! He tried to attack you again! I have to send an APB to the state police right now!" said Vicki excitedly, taking Bo by the hand back over to her desk inside the booking room...

A few minutes later, Vicki started working on the APB that she was going to send to the state police, and Bo's statement about the events that happened in the last 24 hours.

"Bo, did you tell me everything that happened?" asked Vicki as she was looking at the report in the typewriter.
"I think so, sugar," said Bo as he watched the redhead type the report.

"Let's see...when you were abducted yesterday, did you get a good look at Jasper Johnson?" asked Vicki.
"Yeah, sugar. It was him. When I woke up in his car yesterday, I recognized him when I tried to attacked him, but he attacked me first," said Bo trembling slightly.

"After what you told me, and everything that happened yesterday, I'm pretty sure now that Jasper Johnson was the one behind the attacks yesterday," concluded Vicki, taking the report out of her typewriter. Then she headed towards the tele-type machine.

"What are we going to do about it? He might try to attack me again or worse!" said Bo fearfully as he followed Vicki.
"Don't worry, sugar. I'm going to do my best to keep you safe & out of danger," said Vicki, holding Bo in her arms. "You just have to trust me."
Bo kissed her tenderly on the lips. "I know that you will, sweet angel."

While Vicki was sending the report to the state police, Daisy & Katie walked into Rosco's office. Daisy knocked on Rosco's door, and then Rosco opened the door and smiled at Daisy and his part-time deputy Katie.

"Hi, Daisy. What can I do for you this morning?" asked Rosco, grinning at Daisy.
"Nothing much, Rosco. Katie was wanting to take a look at the schedule of when she works again for you," said Daisy, smiling at Rosco.

Rosco saw Katie standing beside Daisy, and he grinned at her.
"Rosco, I wanted to look at the schedule of when I'm working again," said Katie, smiling at Rosco.

"Let's see..." said Rosco, looking over the schedule then added, "How come you want to see the schedule?"
"Because Vicki wanted to trade days off so she can go out with Bo tomorrow," said Katie, smiling at Rosco.

"That figures. She is always going out with him," mumbled Rosco.
"Is there something wrong with that Sheriff?" asked Vicki as she poked her red head into his office.

Rosco laughed. "Khee! Vicki, you're always going out with Bo. You two have been inseparateable for the last 3 months!"

"Unless something happens to him with that killer on the loose," said Vicki worriedly as she walks back into Rosco's office then added, "I just sent an APB to the state police."

"Why would that killer try to do anything?" asked Rosco rolling his eyes :roll: then added, "There isn't anything in this county that he would need right now, unless he wants the mosquitoes." Rosco walked out of his office with Vicki, Katie, and Daisy right behind him.

Before Vicki could answer, Bo got into the conversation. "Rosco, you're not going to do anything about me getting nearly killed by that killer yesterday? I was attacked out in my barn, and left for dead."

"Judist Priest on a Pony! Vicki, you're not shuck-n-jiving me again are you? This is serious," exclaimed Rosco.

"Rosco! That Jasper Johnson is the one stalking the Duke family. I was there yesterday at the farm when he even tried to take a shot at me!" said Vicki, trembling with fear.
Bo sat down in a chair next to Vicki and just held her. "Sh...Sweet Angel. It will be okay."

"Rosco, this is the reason why we came here to talk to you. About going after this killer," said Bo, as he continued to held Vicki, trying to calm her down.
"Well, I'm sure that y'all did something to him in the past to get attacked," said Rosco to Bo, trying to shoo him away from Vicki.

"Rosco, you're not getting this right. If it wasn't for me being out at the farm yesterday, we would have been going to Bo's funeral right now!" said Vicki angrily as she put her hands on her hips and gave him a dirty look then added, "There were explosives all over the farm yesterday. If it wasn't for us getting rid of them before the timer went off, no telling what would have happened to us!"

Luke just shook his head, just looking at Rosco. He didn't know if Rosco believed them or not.

"Ooooh this is serious," said Rosco, not believing what Vicki or Bo was saying then added to the redhead, "He did tried to kill y'all!"

"That is what I've been trying to tell you, Rosco," said Vicki as she followed Bo, Luke, and Daisy towards the front door.

"Well...as much as I would like to help y'all, I can't right now unless something else happens. Why don't y'all get out of here for a while," said Rosco as he was shooing Bo, Luke, and Daisy outside the booking office.

Bo gave Rosco a dirty look as he walked out of the Courthouse. "Thanks anyway, Sheriff. See ya around."

"Vicki, wait a minute before you leave. I want to talk to you," said Rosco, placing a hand on the redhead's arm.
"Okay. Let me go tell Bo to wait on me outside," said Vicki as she walked out of the Courthouse.

"Hey, Bo!" yelled Vicki as she watched Bo sliding into the General Lee.
"What, sugar?" asked Bo, grinning at Vicki as she caught up with him.

"How about if I meet you at Cooter's in about 15 minutes. Rosco wants to talk to me for a minute," said Vicki sweetly to Bo.
Bo rolled his eyes. "What is it about this time? Is he wanting to arrest us for false information?"

"Bo..." said Luke, poking Bo on his sore arm.
"Quit, Luke! That hurts! OUCH!" yelped Bo, rubbing his sore arm.

"I don't know, sugar. But I'll meet you, okay?" asked Vicki, leaning into the General, giving Bo a kiss on the cheek.
"Okay, sweetheart. I'll be waiting," said Bo, sighing loudly as he watched the petite redhead walk back inside the Courthouse.

About 5 minutes later, Vicki walked back into the booking office.
Watching Vicki come back into the booking office, Rosco walks out of his office.

"Did you want to talk to me, Rosco?" asked Vicki.
"Yeah, I didn't want to say any of this in front of Bo & Luke about this matter," said Rosco appologetically.

"That's all right," said Vicki as she smiled at her god-father then added, "Is there something wrong?"

"No, not really. I know that you & Bo weren't shuck-n-jiving me this time. I do faintly remember what that killer told you a few months back," said Rosco.
"So, you know that this mess is for real," said Vicki, sighing a long breath.

"Yeah, Vicki. I know that you would never lie to me. You're as honest as Enos, but almost as pretty as Daisy, even though I still don't like it that you're dating Bo right now," said Rosco, grinning at Vicki.
Vicki's face starts to blush. "That make me feel better, Rosco. So do you want me to still go out on patrol for you?"

"Yeah, you can. Plus for the next several hours, I want you to keep a close eye on the Dukes, especially with that Jasper Johnson on the loose here in Hazzard," said Rosco.

**Vicki doesn't carry a gun belt, so she puts her small gun along with a few other essentials into her purse.**

"Sheriff, I'll make sure that Jasper Johnson doesn't get within 50 feet of the Dukes," said Vicki, smiling at Rosco as she walks down the Courthouse steps.
"I know that you'll do your job right, little lady. See ya later!" said Rosco, waving at the redhead as she got into her patrol car.

Noticing that Bo & Luke weren't at Cooter's, Vicki decided to head towards one of her favorite speed traps. It was a speedtrap that Rosco was normally at, but since Rosco was back at the Courthouse, Vicki decided to head there herself.

*This should be a lot of fun...* thought the redhead with a laugh as she turned onto Clear Creek Drive then added, *I haven't done anything like this in quite a while.*

As Vicki had pulled her patrol car up between some large trees, waiting for Bo & Luke or any speeders that might come along, Luke had pulled into the Boar's Nest parking lot.

"Thanks for the ride, cousin," said Daisy as she slid out of the back seat of the General Lee.
"You're welcome, Daisy," said Luke as he watched Daisy walk towards the front door of the Boar's Nest.

"I wish though that Rosco would help us find that stalker," said Daisy worriedly sighing a deep breath as she unlocked the front door to the bar.

"Yeah, me too. I can't believe that he wouldn't do anything to help us, but at least that Vicki, Enos, and Katie are on our side. I'm sure that they started looking for that stalker right now," said Bo as he followed Luke & Daisy inside the bar.

"I hope so, Bo," said Daisy, sighing loudly as she unlocked the door to Boss's office then added noticing that the safe was opened, "Oh...my...gosh! Boss's safe has been cleaned out!"

BALLADEER: What?? Jasper Johnson has cleaned out Boss's safe?? That doesn't sound too good to me, does it to y'all?? Here's a summary of events that happened in Hazzard County in the last 24 hours... :wink:

1) Vicki returns home from vacation to find out that a stalker (Jasper Johnson) is terrorizing the Duke family.
2) Luke is nearly killed by a stray arrow.
3) Luke is nearly shot by some stray bullets fired by Jasper Johnson.
4) Bo is assaulted then kidnapped by Jasper Johnson, who drags him away from the barn.
5) After stashing an unconscious Bo in the backseat of his car, Jasper sabotages the General Lee.
6) Vicki finds a threatening note on the windshield of her blue mustang.
7) Luke is nearly run over by a black sedan, driven by Jasper, not knowing that Bo was unconscious in the back seat.
8) Daisy gets some threatening phone messages by Jasper.
9) Bo wakes up in the back of the barn, tied to a bomb-box.
10) Vicki begins to search the barn for Bo.
11) Jasper locks Vicki, Daisy, and Luke inside the barn with Bo, then starts planting dynamite bombs inside the General Lee.
12) Vicki barely rescues Bo in time, then picks the right wires out on the bomb box.
13) Bo, Luke, Daisy, & Vicki makes it out of the barn just as an explosion occurs.
14) Jasper slingshots a huge rock towards Vicki as she was walking inside the farmhouse with Bo.
15) Jasper tries to attack Bo & Daisy again after Vicki leaves by throwing a huge rock through the open kitchen window.
16) During the night, Vicki has nightmares about everything that happened earlier at the farm.
17) Vicki arrives at the Courthouse the next morning, telling Rosco & Enos everything that happened yesterday at the farm.
18) While Boss Hogg is away from the Boar's Nest, Jasper cleans out his safe.

"What do you mean that Boss's safe is cleaned out?" asked Luke as he & Bo walked over to where Daisy was standing by Boss's opened safe.
"It was opened when I walked in here. I think that someone stole all of Boss's money out of the safe," said Daisy as she peeked her head inside the safe.

"Yeah, you know that we'll get the blame for this too," grumbled Bo sarcastically then added, "I know that Boss & Rosco thinks that we're always doing something to them."

"Bo! Quit it!" said Luke as he elbowed Bo in the ribs.

"Luke, you didn't have to do that," said Bo painfully as he rubbed the spot where Luke elbowed him then added, "I just know that we'll get the blame for this, and Rosco will not do a thing to help us either."

"We will not get the blame for this, Bo. Even if Rosco doesn't help us who really did steal all that money, I know that Enos and your girlfriend will help us find the crook," said Luke as he puts his arm around Bo's shoulder.

"Luke, Vicki is not my girlfriend. We're just best friends," said Bo as he takes a peek out the back door watching for Boss or Rosco.

"Yeah, why did it take you nearly 2 hours last night taking Vicki home when she lives right next door?" laughed Luke as he was searching the safe for a clue to the culprit.
Bo rolled his eyes at Luke.

"Bo, that is not what I saw yesterday afternoon. I know that you two have very strong feelings for each other. I can see it in your eyes that you want to be with Vicki right now," said Daisy, putting her arm around Bo's shoulder. "Sometimes, deep down, I want to be with Enos right now too. But he's been to busy lately."

"Yeah, Daisy, I do want to be with her right now. Sometimes I feel like holding her in my arms and never letting go again," said Bo as he continued to watched out the back door for Rosco's patrol car, thinking about Vicki.

"Hey, y'all. I found a clue by the safe. I think that I know who might have stolen the money," said Luke a few minutes later.

"Who, Luke?" asked Bo.
"Yeah, who?" asked Daisy as she came back inside Boss's office.

"It was Jasper who did it," said Luke as he showed Bo a match that he found on the ground near the safe.

"I figured that it was him, Luke. He must have came in here last night after he attacked us at the farm," said Bo as Luke gave him the match.

"Y'all, maybe Boss came by here earlier this morning and took all the money out of the safe," said Daisy.

"That could be it too, but I think that it was Jasper who did it," said Luke as Daisy gave him back the matchbook.

"And now I bet that he is going to try to frame it on us so that Rosco could arrest us for stealing Boss's money," said Bo sarcastically as he continued to look outside for Rosco's patrol car.

Just then, a black sedan comes driving into the parking lot.
Looking into the back door, Jasper notices that Bo, Luke, and Daisy are looking inside the safe. *Now I have another crack at them, and another chance to get even too* he thought as he takes a mean looking black revolver out of the glove compartment.

"Just open that back door a little more, blondie. I'm going to get another chance to get even for good with you!" said Jasper laughing meanly :x as he fires a shot towards Bo, Luke, and Daisy... BANG! BANG!

Meanwhile, back in Hazzard...

After walking back inside the Courthouse from taking to Bo, Vicki walked inside the filing room to get that wanted poster of Jasper Johnson. She was thinking about sending it to Sheriff Little since he knows a little bit about this villian.

After making copies of the wanted poster, Vicki walked out of the file room and picked up her keys to her patrol car off the table.
Thinking about the wanted poster and what this killer did to her & the Duke family, Vicki sighed loudly.

"Vicki, are you all right?" asked Enos as he was taking a mop into the holding cell.
"Just fine, Enos. I just don't like this killer running around Hazzard. I just know that something bad is going to happen," said Vicki, sighing loudly.

"Where are you heading with that wanted poster?" asked Enos, who continued to mop the holding cell.
"I'm going to run to Chickasaw County and let Sheriff Little take a look at it. After all, he helped us arrest Jasper Johnson a couple of months ago," said Vicki.

"Do you think that he'll help us find that killer before he strikes again?" asked Enos.
"I sure hope so, Enos. I have a bad feeling that something bad is going to happen, but I'm not sure what yet," said Vicki worriedly as she waved at Enos as she was leaving the Courthouse.

*Little did Vicki know that what she said would be exactly right...*

Meanwhile, back at the Boar's Nest, Jasper was firing shots towards the back door, as Bo, Luke, and Daisy were taking cover behind the door.

BANG! BANG!
"Bo! Look out!" said Luke fearfully as he pushes Bo out of the way.
Bo looked up and saw that Jasper was taking shots at him as he was walking towards the open back door.
"Oh...Lord. I knew that he couldn't be too far away from us," said Bo as he jumps out of the way of the stray shots.

BANG!
Angrily, Jasper jerked back his index finger and fired again, but his aim was off, and the bullet spat into the wall where Bo was kneeling close too earlier. Forgetting his calculated scheme of torture & revenge, he pulled the trigger once more. BANG!

"Oh...my...gosh!" exclaimed Daisy in fright, cowering near the back door towards the bar.

"Daisy! Go out to the bar quickly and get anyone on the CB. We need help now!" yelled Luke as he & Bo were cowering behind the pool table as Jasper walked inside the back door.

"I'm on my way, Luke," said Daisy as she rushes out the door towards the bar without Jasper noticing her.

As Jasper shuts the door, he fires yet another shot towards the cousins. *BANG*!
The bullet struck the floor without inflicting any damage to either Bo or Luke, who were walking towards the back door to the bar.
"Not so fast, farmboys. I've got you covered. There is no escape," said Jasper as he walked over to Bo & Luke, with his shotgun aimed directly at them. He then snickered :P as he pushes them into the door, "We're going to have a talk out in the bar for a while."

Bo & Luke looked at each other, then raised their arms in surrender as they were poked in the back with a muzzle of a shotgun...

Outside in the General Lee, Daisy was frantically trying to get some help as she was finding someone to talk too over the CB.

After not getting either Rosco or Enos on the CB, Daisy switch to another emergency channel.
"Bo Peep calling Little Red, are you there? Come back!" said Daisy fearfully into the CB mike, hoping that Vicki would answer her.

*I knew that there was something wrong* thought Vicki as she pulls her patrol car off to the side of the road then added back into the CB mike, "Hi, Bo Peep. This is Little Red, come back!"

"Thank goodness that you answered, Little Red!" exclaimed Daisy fearfully then added, "That crazy killer is here and inside Boss's office right now with Bo & Luke!"

Just then, a shot could be heard in the background... BANG!

"What!" exclaimed the redhead into her CB mike in shock as she heard a gunshot in the background then added, "This can't be happening again. Did I just heard a gunshot?"

"Yeah, honey, you did hear a gunshot. Can you get here and stop that killer from hurting Bo & Luke?" asked Daisy fearfully into her CB mike.
"You know that I will, Daisy. I'm on my way," said Vicki worriedly into the CB mike as she turns her patrol car around in the middle of the road as she heads towards the Boar's Nest.

Vicki couldn't believe that her nightmare was turning out to be real...

After getting off the CB with Daisy, Vicki switched to the emergency police channel. Before calling Rosco on the CB, Vicki took a deep breath that she didn't know she had, she was thinking about everything that has happened.

It was her nightmare coming alive again. Never in her life had Vicki felt so torn in two. Bo & Luke were in dire danger, and she really can't do anything about it right now either. She didn't want to risk her life too if she were to try to attack Jasper without Rosco or Enos backing her up.

But seeing Bo in the clutches of that crook, hurt Vicki's emotions terribly. Oh, God, it hurt so badly to think of never seeing him alive in her arms again!
She didn't know how much Bo cared for her right now-even the weight of the gold locket that he gave her for her 18th birthday that she wore everyday didn't assure her that he saw her as someone that was special to him.

Looking at the gold locket around her neck, Vicki sighed loudly as she turn her patrol car onto Highway 36 towards the Boar's Nest.
Something inside her squeezed tight with dread, so tight she didn't know if she could bear it when she got to the Boar's Nest and found Bo lying dead in the parking lot.

*There is no way that I'm going to let you get the best of me, Jasper Johnson!* thought Vicki angrily, pushing her foot to the floor then added, *We're going to settle this once and foreall, especially for taking my 2 best friends hostage!*

*I'd better try to get a hold of Rosco & Enos, and tell them what is going on,* thought Vicki as she picked up her CB mike in the patrol car as she switched to the emergency police channel. "Rosco or Enos, this is Little Red. Do y'all have your ears on? Come back," said Vicki worriedly into the CB mike.

Inside Boss Hogg's house, Rosco picks up the CB mike.
"Little Red, this is Rosco. What's up? You normally don't call me on this channel unless it is an dire emergency," said Rosco back into the CB.
He was wondering why his god-daughter would be calling him on this channel. *Something has to be wrong for Vicki to call me on this channel...* thought Rosco worriedly.

"I know that I normally don't call you on this channel, Rosco. But for once, this WAS an emergency," said Vicki as her voice was trembling.
"Yeah, most of the time you usually call in after arresting Bo & Luke illegally," laughed Rosco.

When Vicki didn't laugh with him, Rosco knew that there was something wrong.
He then asked Vicki in a worried tone, "What's wrong, honey? What is the emergency for you to be using the emergency channel?"

Fearfully, Vicki blurted out, "That convict Jasper Johnson is at the Boar's Nest right now holding Bo & Luke hostage!"

"Possum on a Gumbush! Are you sure, Vicki?" asked Enos as he picked up the CB mike in his patrol car.

"I'm positive. Daisy called me about 5 minutes ago outside the Boar's Nest from the General Lee, and told me that Jasper Johnson was holding Bo & Luke hostage!" said Vicki fearfully. "She also said that Jasper Johnson burst in the back door to Boss's Office, and started taking shots at Bo & Luke. I was hearing shots when I was talking to her!"

"Vicki, calm down. We're on our way out there right now to help you with that killer!" said Rosco back into the CB mike.
"I hope so, Sheriff. I don't think that I can handle that crook right now by myself!" said Vicki uneasily back into the CB mike.

"Vicki, I need you to put an APB out on that crook!" said Boss Hogg as he took the CB mike away from Rosco then added, "I think that he probably cleaned out my safe too. There was nearly $ 10,000 dollars in my safe!"
"And for attempted murder & kidnapping too!" said Vicki back into the CB mike.

"Judist Priest on a Pony..." muttered Rosco then added as he took the CB mike away from Boss Hogg, "Vicki, where are you at right now? Are you close to the Boar's Nest?"
"Yeah, I just pulled up outside the Boar's Nest," said Vicki worriedly.

"Honey, no matter how mad you are right now, don't go in there until we get there. That crook is too dangerous right now. He's liable to shoot you too," said Rosco back into the CB mike.
"Don't worry, Sheriff. I won't go in there. Just get here as soon as you can," said Vicki sighing loudly as she hangs up her CB mike.

Vicki knew that help was on the way...

Meanwhile...

"What do you want with us?" asked Luke as he & Bo were being roughly pushed outside into the bar by Jasper.

"We're going to talk for a while," said Jasper. To reinforce his point, he leveled the muzzle of the shotgun directly at Bo & Luke.

"About what? Was it because of me & my girlfriend arresting you a couple of months back?" asked Bo sarcastically as he continued to hold his hands up.

Without warning, Jasper backhands Bo across the face hard, causing Bo's face to start swelling. "Leave him alone!" yelled Luke. "Come & make me, plowboy!" said Jasper threatenly.

Turning back to Bo, Jasper added, "Just shut up about it. I'm going to get even with y'all for sending me to jail a couple of months ago! And this time I'm not going to leave any witnesses!" said Jasper meanly as he cocked the shotgun, aiming it directly at Bo's chest then added as he pushed Bo into a nearby chair, "Have a seat. We're going to be a while."

Luke continued to stare at Jasper, and was tempted to take him now. He also thought that it was pointless though, especially with a gun aimed directly at his cousin's chest.

Bo looked around the bar. He noticed that Daisy wasn't nowhere in sight, meaning that she was outside on the CB, trying to get ahold of Vicki, Rosco, and Enos to have them come out here. That made him feel better about the situation that they're in.
He also knew that he had to bid his time enough for him & Luke to live without Jasper murdering them.

"You're not going to kill us here, are you?" Bo asked fearfully to Jasper as he was rubbing his aching jaw.
"No, of course not! I'm not going to let the Sheriff find your body here. We're just going to have a talk here right now, about how y'all are going to make me rich. Then I'll take y'all somewhere else & dispose you."

Luke added sarcastically, "Yeah, well conversations at gunpoint aren't my style."

"Awww...that's too bad, boys. We're going to talk about me getting revenge on y'all, and how I'm going to throw your battered bodies in a ditch somewhere! Have a seat in that chair, so we can start talking," said Jasper as he pushes Luke into a chair, then backhands Bo again in the face. *SMACK!*
"Ouch!" Bo said, rubbing his bruised jaw.

"Leave him alone!" yelled Luke as he advanced Jasper.
"Come & make me, plowboy!" said Jasper as he leveled his shotgun at Bo's neck then added, "One more move, and your cousin's head will be shot off!"
Luke had no choice but to back away as Jasper pushed him into a chair.

"Just to make sure that y'all won't try to escape from me..." said Jasper harshly. With a gun trained on them, Jasper roughly forced Bo's & Luke's arms behind their backs, tying their wrists tightly to the back of the chair with some duct tape that he found.

The hairs on the back of Bo's neck prickled as he realized that he had just put himself, Luke's, and probably Vicki's lives now in jeopardy...

In less than 5 minutes, with her furious fiery temper, Vicki had pulled her patrol car up near the back door to Boss's office.

Taking her service revolver out of the glove compartment, she quietly heads towards the back door. Normally, she doesn't carry a gun, but this was an emergency. She knew that she had to take out Jasper Johnson without hurting Bo or Luke in the crossfire.

Just as she opens the back door, Daisy stops her.
"Vicki! Wait! Don't go in there!" exclaimed Daisy as she caught up with the redhead.
"Daisy! I have to go in there!" said Vicki uneasily then added, "Bo & Luke are in there with that killer. I have to go save them!"

"But we need to wait for Rosco & Enos to show up. We're going to need back-up if we're going to capture that killer," said Daisy, placing a hand on Vicki's trembling arm.

Daisy saw the fear & stress in the redhead's eyes. She also saw a slight twinkle in her eyes too. Daisy could see in Vicki's eyes how much the redhead really loved her cousin Bo, and how she wanted to be with him right now. Daisy knew that Vicki would do anything to keep her cousins or her uncle out of harm's way.

"Okay," sighed Vicki loudly as she gazed towards the open back door. She was hoping that Bo & Luke were okay in there with that killer, and that Rosco would show up soon...

Meanwhile...

Bo & Luke were talking to the crook. Keeping their voices steady & calm.

"Why are you getting revenge on us?" asked Bo as he was flexing his numbed fingers behind his back.
"Yeah, what have we done to you? You shouldn't be holding us here in the 1st place," said Luke sarcastically.

"Hmmm...let's see," said Jasper harshly as he was lightly moving the muzzle of his shotgun across Bo's face, then added, "Well, a couple of months ago, you cost me a million dollars. Isn't that a good reason for getting revenge on ya?"

"Yeah, I guess so," said Bo nervously as he heard a car outside behind them then added through his thoughts, *Please let that be Vicki...*

Jasper looked towards the door to Boss's office after hearing a car. "Sounds like we have company outside. I better go take a look."

After Jasper left, Bo let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding.
"You okay, cousin?" asked Luke as he was reaching with his bound hands towards Bo's pocketknife.

"Yeah, I'm worried, Luke. Do you think that he's going to kill us?" asked Bo.
"Maybe, but we'll escape before that happens," said Luke grinning slightly then added, "Do you think that you can reach my pocketknife?"
"I'll try, Luke," said Bo as he started reaching behind him to get at Luke's pocketknife.

"Don't worry, Bo. We'll get out of this one way or another," said Luke as he was looking towards the back door.
"I hope so, Luke," said Bo as he looked towards the front door, catching a glimpse of Vicki out the window...

*This stillness is eerie...* Vicki thought about 10 minutes later, leaning back against her patrol car while she & Daisy were waiting for Rosco, Enos, and Jesse to arrive.
It was so complete & eerie that it seemed unnatural. Not a bird sang in the trees nearby, and there was no hum of insects.

*Something isn't quite right here...* thought the redhead as she was getting off the hood of her patrol car.

"Daisy, I'm going to head towards the front door. I want to take a look inside at what Jasper is doing in there to Bo
